Works at park ongoing with no definitive date set for when it is to be completed. As the geo rules require a definitive date the cache needs to be reactivated, we have no choice other than to archive crackerjack. Has brought us much enjoyment so sad to see it go but at the whim of the council unfortunately. Goodbye and farewell to crackerjack from mousetrio
Works still ongoing.??. They may be rebuilding the entire park? Hoping to be finished by Christmas so we can place the cache back in its spot.
Cache was behind temporary fencing so have removed temporarily until works finished. Will get back in place asap.
Bit worried about trampling in the bush but it wasn't too bad. Somebody left a large knife which was a bit weird and dangerous
I found it it was my second one and I had to climb into the bush to find it fun experience
First day of Spring. Yay! I wasn't too keen on walking on the garden for this one, but did it carefully. This is s great location for the geodog and families.
I was on my way home from visiting my mum and decided to stop here to get my daily caching requirements. The place was not busy, and the cache was quickly located, signed and returned.
Thanks to Mousetrio for placing and maintaining the cache.

Thanks Mousetrio for bringing us here. Found a new ️ favourite in Seaford & loved this wickedly wild day. Good thing I could stretch

While the big one and the medium one took the geodog for a walk, the not so small one went and grabbed this cache. Nice hide, TFTC
This was such a fun cache to find and it was my very first one! My friend and I looked all around for it and when we did find it he couldn’t reach it do I had to get in the and help him. This was such a fun and great experience and I definitely recommend this cache to other beginners starting in this fun activity.
Found this cache on today’s beach visit with my family. We had fish and chips in the park, looked at the beach and found the cache before heading off.
Found a bag moth on the fence at GZ, photo attached to log. Geocache signed and replaced.

The first cache for the day, and the weather was looking bleak. Ay GZ I had to wander around a bit to work out where the cache was located, trying to get the distance to the cache down to a reasonable number. Slowly I zoned in on a location, and not long after, spotted the cache. Nice new container and fresh logbook here. Lovely.
Replacement cache in situ. Please take the time to replace the cache out of sight. The area is popular with kids and will lead to cache loss if left out in view. The foliage in the area has grown up since the cache was first placed. Please take care not to trample vegetation. Remember, you DONT need to climb fence and enter dunes.
Spent a while trying to find checked everywhere and belief it to maybe be moved from original spot
My GPS was all over the place here but it was eventually found about 8 metres from where it was indicated. At one point I thought I'd have to go back and put some more money on the parking metre!

Wondered if the name had any correlation to the movie, and after reading the cache page later, it does. A quick find today.
It was at Carrum Bowling Club on the sand dunes under a bush next to the drinking tap
Found one more little cache on our way home. This is one of my favourite movies, so really wanted this to be a success, thankfully, it was a nice easy find, once the muggles had dispersed. Strange spot to hide it, but co-ords were spot on.
Had a play on the playground (parking is free after 6pm), then headed on home for dinner. TFTC!

As guests we had a great family breakfast together in the Crackerjack before we went looking for this one. We were all searching in the right area, but it was Helena and Lily who found it first. TFTC
#17209 - 11:39:00 AM; In Melbourne for a few days on family business, but still time for a spot of caching when my old caching compadre made the trip in from Ballarat to visit. Our main objective for the day was to pick up a few more counties south of the border (south for me anyway ). Managed to add five more counties logging 9 caches, with a single DNF. Managed a quick find and sign here after a couple of challenges earlier. Loved the movie, so a fave for bringing us here! TFTC Mousetrio
Out with LuckyL10n who was in Melbourne for a few days so a trip in from Ballarat was the order of the day. Decided on a drive out this way to clean up a few more counties. This was our next stop and once at GZ the cache was quickly spotted. Just a few people enjoying the area so all was good with making the find.
Thanks Mousetrio...a neat beachside hide. Great to visit the site of a cool Aussie movie.

I remember family beach days here back in the 70’s, got sunburned so many times TFTC
Well there you go never actually knew the movie was filmed here! Will have to give it another watch.
Came down today to give the dog a swim, so good Melbourne finally getting some nice weather! TFTC

It wasnt rlly hidden you could see it if u went through the bushes but quickly grabed ut bc of bees.
A bit of a strange place for a cache placement, but eventually we found it. SL at 1.22pm Everything in good condition here. #9078 TFTC Mousetrio - the rain is coming in, so time to leave this area.
Found on a nice little walk with the pup. Thanks for the inspiration to walk further
Day 1 of a planned three-day trip to Melbourne saw us pick up LazyAde and head down to Seaford to specifically pick up a couple of solved puzzles, and a few other caches in between.
We absolutely love the movie Crackerjack, so it was a real thrill to come and visit the main location. You can still feel the vibe of the bowling greens even though the club building has been replaced. Cache found nice and quickly. No need to add to the swear jar here. TFTC Mousetrio.

Today was a planned trip to Frankston to pick something up, turns out it was advertised but not in stock. Glad I put some caches into the GPS for the trip.
Parked so I could stroll down to look at the beach then look for the cache on the way back.
Quick find for this cache signed and replaced.
Thanks to Mousetrio

All quiet at GZ and a quick find. This was just as well as I always feel a little exposed walked through garden areas. Thanks to Mousetrio for the cache
A quick find dodging the rain before heading into work today, got to love an afternoon shift. Having cleared most of Frankston out now I am starting to run out of nearby caches to collect. Eitherway after a short stroll the cache soon revealed itself.... a bit out in the open as well. Quickly signed and put back where ai found it with a little bit of camo. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
Log book slightly wet and found without too much trouble.
I thought I would try the crackerjack cafe while I was here but sadly it’s closed.

After attending a CITO in Geelong, we headed into The Swedish Furniture shop to pick up a few items for the home renovation and, of course, some delicious Swedish meatballs.
We decided to take the Mornington Peninsula route home, catch the last ferry across to Queenscliff, and cache our way there.
We haven't done much caching on the Mornington Peninsula and want to rectify this.
The weather was not the greatest. It was cold and rainy, but fortunately no wind.
Loved the film it was a real Crackerjack.
The cache is in great condition. Thank you for this cache Mousetrio.

I have done sport at this location a number of times, and even had lunch and breakfast here, but I've either never had the time or it has been way too busy for me to take a look. But today I needed a Traditional Geocache for a challenge I am working on, so I popped down here to take a look and to enjoy the beach.
With too many people around, I went at sat at the beach for 30 odd minutes before coming back to look for this geocache. Didn't find it at the end of the first geocache trail, but I did on the second trail.
Thanks for the cache Mouse Trio

While out and about waiting for my brother to finish his appointment found with geo dog good find
This geocache was quite easy to find with the help of a big brained dad, had some cute little surprises in it and was a good adventure
Had some fun at the park after dark, went on the swings for a while and almost fell off. Good fun
This was a tricky little hide. Eventually found it at 12:15 in the morning. Logbook a little damp so I’ve put it in a bag with a silica bag.

In the area with Rebel Acts putting some smiles on the map, perfect weather for it.
The muggles where definitely out today, especially around the sporting venues.

Out and about once again with Omegaman1971 for our regular weekend catch up and cache. Today we started at Seaford and cleaned up some unfound in the area.

Find #2716 for me. Found at 12:43 pm with my friend virbull and dog Bonnie. Today I took a day of annual leave to travel down from Bendigo to visit my friend who now lives down this way in an area which I rarely get to. Because of that, there were so many unfound caches to chose from, but I wanted to target the ones near the beach since it's been two years since I last saw the sea, largely due to covid lockdowns. Fortunately virbull was also happy with this plan. When we arrived at this one, I was going to do the right thing and pay for parking until I saw the price, so changed my mind and decided to go straight for the cache and hope for a quick find. Well, a quick find it was, so we were able to add our names to the logbook and return to the car before a parking inspector came by. Thanks for bringing us here today Mousetrio and thanks for the cache!
The significance of the name of this cache just occurred to me. Duh. I only watched the movie a week ago. I love all these caches along the beach front but object to paying th City of Kingston massive parking charges every time I stopped for a cache. Wow, these are high parking costs. TFTC though.
A day out with my 10 year old at the beach - a cracking day weather wise but jelly fish everywhere made it difficult to enjoy the water. The cache was found in plain sight within 5 metres of GZ tftc
Felt a bit awkward finding it, pretending with my friend that we were looking for our lost ball. Good find though!
Got the travel bug moving it to another spotmuggles nearby keepn eyes pealed if suspected say you droped a ball
Out with Spiffy- for some ALs and this was on route. Found in good condition.
Thanks to Mousetrio for the placement and fun.

Found at 1:17 pm.
Headed out with Fleabag- to do a couple of adventure labs today for a couple of hours.
Driving right past here and stopped in the almost full car park but only 2 people in the park? Where are they all? Nice quick find on the cache which was good because I had a DNF some time ago when this was missing.
Thanks Mousetrio for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Found it with the Geokid today. Quick find and the water was looking great on the bay. TFTC
After looking for a puzzle cache in the same vicinity, I made a stop here, a place I've never been. Parking was full to the brim given the warm sunny weather and eased restrictions. Managed to park somewhat illegally in the main car park but it would not disturb anyone.
Approaching GZ, I saw a spot I instinctively thought it may be but the GPS was telling me otherwise. Given the muggle activity, I had to play the pretend to have dropped something part and then what do you know a very convenient hiding spot big enough for a human to fit out of sight, so that I did and ducked down and spotted the cache. Signed as muggles went by and luckily didn't hear a 'hey is that someone in the bushes?' Returned the cache and popped back up and nobody seemed interested in what I was up to.
Thanks for the fun Mousetrio.

Decided to take the kids out for a walk and to do a cache or 2. Cache was found quickly and the kids enjoyed the playground and playing near the water for a bit. TFTH
TFTF great spot. You need to access it via the path not the sand dunes. This had been my second attempt as the bushes were too thick through the dunes.
