I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Found but the log is damaged from water and the bag holding it had a hole, I replaced it but was unable to record my visit. See photo for evidence
Two day trip to Hutt Valley area, time for a bike, easy find. Thanks pukeho1 for the cache.
We’re out here, might as well wander up & down to the nearby caches Quick find on a cold day next to the swollen river. Thanks pukeho1!
Once again found this cache with Satansspawn what a great place to hide there was a high muggler presence around we still managed to grab it and replace it with out anyone around.. I never took a pen as I hadnt intended on geocaching yesterday so I will write in the log book today... TFTC
Found while stretching our legs beside the river. A pretty still day by Wellington standards. Saved this one for our walk back to the car. TFTC
Good start to the afternoon with a quick find. Managed to sign the rather sad log sheet. TFTC
Having just hosted an event in Avalon Park, Lower Hutt, I went for a drive afterwards to try for some local caches in an area I don't get to visit very often. I was aiming for a few park 'n' grabs as well as the chance to look for some solved puzzles and Challenge caches that I've qualified for.
This was (hopefully) going to be a quick park 'n' grab. Being a Saturday afternoon, I don't know whether the area around GZ was quieter than it would normally be, but there weren't any people around as I walked over to investigate GZ. I did still feel a little exposed but I found the cache quickly in the first place I looked.
However, the logbook is pretty full and very damp. I managed to squeeze my name in a small gap but a new logbook ought to be installed. I'm sorry I didn't have a spare on me to drop in.
Thanks for setting this cache up.

Nice one for a warm up on a drizzly day. Whoever decides to find this one next may want to bring a snap lock bag. Tftc!
Nice find, decided to take my time and have a hunt for some caches while enjoying a bike ride. Paper is a bit damp
On a TMGT expedition, with four wagging tails in tow.
Signed the logbook as mrandmrschosen1978 or MM78. Tftc

Found whilst out on the push bike, nice day for it. First cache in a few years. Cheers.
After a long hiatus I decided to get back into geocaching again. Didn't realise how much I missed it. Couldn't find the first cache I looked for but managed to uncover this one easy enough. Thanks for the cache!
Second time looking for this, first find for the biggest small person the family. Bag that holds the log is ripped so the book is bit damp. TFTC
This was a cool one. Nicely hidden. Theres no way anyone would accidently come across this one.
For a long time we have wanted to get some smiley faces along this bike trail and these few days off in the camper were the very excuse we needed to do them. The ride was very enjoyable and very easy with just a little breeze. It was great to see such an array of different hides and to see some of the country side from a different angle. All hides appeared to be in good condition and the co ords were usually spot on
Many thanks for bringing us to this area

Well the weekend was nearing by and I was wondering what I could get up to then a fellow geocacher contacted me asking if I wanted to go biking this weekend and with the family away why not I thought so Friday came around got sorted for the Saturday adventure then set off early Saturday morning reaching The Upper Hutt area around 9am we had a cuppa or two or three hen though we better stop chatting and get a move on, we set off to do a trail but while doing that make sure we also get the odd ones in between and a bit out and about as we go, as ya know when caching time ticks away rather fast so we needed to keep an eye on the time as I still had to return home sometime today., lucky for daylight savings and great weather on our side today. What a lovely area to cache in we last came here with the Mega on, so only 3 months ago but never got too much time for biking trails, the weekend went so fast but most enjoyable. It wasn't long before we had our first cache in hand then second third and so on, we signed the logs and placed the caches back exactly where we found them, a few muggles today but no one seemed to be worried about what we were up, was caching with 2 Bulbars today. caches were good no DNFs so far it was a nice quick find. better get on our way to the next cache then get a bit cleaned up have a drink and a bite to eat then start to get ready to head for home all in all a great day great company. Thank you so much for taking the time to place a cache here and give us yet another adventurous day out. Dropped nothing signed log, took nothing
Sorry about the copy and paste I usually try and do individual write ups. TFTC

On our walk from Silverstream to Pomare we passed here to sign the Logsheet. Thank you
# 1191 Another nice evening walk, this time in the drizzle rather than the pouring rain. I used the excellent clue to narrow this one down. As I was approaching there were two muggles walking along, one in jandles which was kind of funny in this weather. After walking further down the path somewhat I doubled back and quickly made the find. Not often you find caches in these types of containers. All nice and dry inside. Thanks pukeho1 for this cache!
Heading back towards Upper Hutt with rebel98 and we could pull over here so made a quick find of this one. TFTC!!!
We had been looking forward to this weekend for the past year, we first heard about it at the Geofest in Oamaru. We registered our will attend as soon as we could and then watched and watched as the numbers grew until it was at Mega status.
This morning we had already attended an event and found the oldest cache in New Zealand which was very awesome. We found a few other traditional caches around the area but we could not find too many as I had to get myself up a hill to get to another nearby event.
Once we had attended the event and found and signed the 1000 day challenge cache we headed back down the hill.
We then started driving around looking for a few caches to find as we filled the day in while we waited to go to the next event.
We noticed these few caches along this track so we decided to have a look for them.
They were all nice easy finds, that we were able to find in between the muggle bikers and dog walkers.
Thank you for placing this cache and of course thank you for the smilie
Thanks for the cache! Nice sheltered spot for the cache so logbook in good condition despite the holey plastic bag.
Had a lovely bike ride along here - now it must be home to turn around and head back to Upper Hurt

First of three caches found whilst enjoying a bike ride along part of the river trail this afternoon. Relatively quick find between muggles. #1748. TFTC.
Decided to go for a little walk along the river this evening. Glad I waited until the sun went down! Made short work of this one. Tftc visiting from Maryland, USA
Q E F here as per the hint, and replaced as found. Time to turn arounbd and head back to the car.
Not sure why dog owners take the time to collect the mess, then leave it in the baggie on the retaining wall or by the path - lazy.
After yet another long day in 'class' I was yearning a few caches afterwards to get the wind in my (thinning) hair and a drop of golden sunshine too. Having started to chip away at those caches in close proximity I'm starting to cast my beady eye a bit further afield now in search of treasure and managed a nice little haul and still back in good time before dark. A few Broadband cabinet caches, a couple of Puzzle caches and general satisfaction with my little trip this evening.
T F T C to all the Cache owners.

I used to live in Stokes Valley. When I was a lad there was no track along here. But the was ages ago! I enjoyed the walk to this spot.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry inside.
Thank you

A year after a DNF disappointment here we returned to the great steam railway nearby so I gave it another go and got it! Thanks!
A quick find thanks to the hint. Plenty of muggles and doggles around todaym enjoying the sunshine. Tftc.
Quick easy find during a cycle with my young son. Hint was very useful and led us straight
Quickly located on our bike ride. Always good to get off for a bit when you haven't been on the bike for a while! TFTC
Parked at Silverstream and walked to Stokes Valley and back. Quickly spotted. Thanks for the cache.
