Found while accompanied by the CO on a bit of a maintenance run. The idea was she would chauffeur me around and I would find the caches, she would see if any maintenance was required. That lasted as long as it took for us to hop in her car and find it had a flat battery. Take two. Now I am driving with her directing me where to go. Had a fun few hours picking up caches around the area. Don't ask me where I actually drove, I was lost after the first few turns.Quick find in a bit of a sneaky spot, blends in well. TFTC
Third cache of the day! Mr H made quick work of this one! Very sneaky! Made me giggle!
Found by caughtatwork on 23/08/2024 at 5:02:00 PMA nice find on a weekend of geocaching in and around the Shepperton area.Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.*Overall Experience: 3*GAFF1

I am loving these puns.I think this cache is meant to be in the tree judging by the colour of the container and fixing tool. We found the cache on the ground and there was just nowhere to place it in the tree. Affixed to a nearby structure. T4tc
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. In Shepparton for a few days as we wend our way towards Canberra for the GeoBash. Today we decided to have a lazy day. With a late start, then back to the van for lunch before tootling off and tackling a few more. Mostly less traffic in the CBD due to Sunday but the Harvest festival was definitely drawing a crowd there. TFTC Cybergran V [^]
Reperio 11:04Merry Christmas! Today our family headed into Shepparton for a buffet style Christmas Lunch, and with a little time up our sleeve, we managed to fit in a cache or two. Quick stop here before lunch, and the cache was spotted. Gratias Cybergran VAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
After a busy day, running a few errands &wishing fellow geocachers well i decided to swing past and have a look for this little guy.Clever Cybergran TFTC
No trouble with this cache. The coords are spot on.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. I actually got this one but only because it was self explanatory! It is certainly surprising to see saleyards in town area. Shepparton has certainly grown since I was here over 30 years ago.On the last day of my 10 day mini geocaching adventure I headed to Shepparton to catch up with the awesome Cybergran V on her home turf. After being treated to the best lunch - sensational soup, avocado and tuna, AND award winning vanilla slice, we cruised around Shepp. Val coached a new cacher - 1Tuna - whom we met at one of her caches and invited her to join us for the afternoon.TFTC and lunch and great time today Cybergran V - not only are you amazing at solving puzzles but that was the best soup I have ever tasted! and you gave me an icecream for my journey. I felt like a kid again with my gran spoiling memany regardskbucky

Shepparton is an area that we often drive through but has never been a destination. This Kings birthday long weekend we made it our destination to tick off some caches in the area

In the area for a couple of days. Found with Bogonghazy and SS. Thanks for placing the geocache
Took ages in the dark, but a few logs gave us a hint and there it was. Thanks again Val
The JAMS team (JJ52 allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) were on a road trip heading to the Rutherglen Mega event (staying in Corowa) for 3 days then winding our way home via Albury, Wangaratta, Bendigo and various other places in between. It was a great week with many more caches found than we expected. There were targeted caches, challenge caches, Ad Labs, events and various others to fulfill various statistics for the four of us. We were lucky with the weather, it rained a bit on our way over on Friday, then half a day after we left Wangaratta but on the whole it was great caching weather. We did drive a few slippery muddy roads, but nothing too bad. We also caught up with lots of people either at events or out in the field and enjoyed many great chats. All in all a fun time with lots of Victoria explored and then very tired when I arrived home. [^]
Today started off wet when we left Wangaratta heading in a round about way to Bendigo finding caches in a different LGA and others that we had targeted, but thankfully the rain stopped around lunch time which was good.
We spent a bit of time caching around Shepparton as we wanted to find at least 20 caches in this LGA. Quick find here. This one took a while to spot and we remarked on how it was attached, something I had not seen before.
Thanks for the cache Cybergran V.

Stamped as JAMS - JJ52, alllister w, mogni, sir_spectre. All of these teams are from South Australia and after some major planning we managed to find approx 700 caches while being away for a week. Also qualifiied for a variety of challenges, found LGA's and had lots of laughs. Found while attending the Victorian Mega in Rutherglen.
Thanks
Thanks
Stopped to get closer to 20 caches in this LGA. quick find. Different way of attaching the cache.
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) go mega... We came, we cached, we laughed, we hugged and we had a great time. All caches were replaced better than found. It may have taken one day to get there, but it took us 5 days to get home

Getting better at working out where titles come from. Lucky very quiet today. Interesting way of attaching..Thanks Cybergran V
I had to go into ninja mode here as, due to a traffic detour back at the cannery because the boys were playing pick up sticks with a really big crane, so as a result this road was now busy.
Anyway, after getting far to up close and personal with the wrong tree, I went off and found the actual cache and signed my life away.
Off to the next one…

very hard to find, but found it in the end!! Very good cache and was fun. Blends in very well with the area
This one did take a little to find. As TBS read out the description I had the cache in hand.
I’m yet to come and visit you Cybergran V, but hoping to do so before Wednesday

This was the last of 9 finds in the company of Cyberganv as she checked on her caches post flood event.
This one took the longest time to find but was eventually spotted.
Thanks

#5070 Last of a trio of finds today as we needed to make a trip to Shepparton. GZ is also a trip down memory lane for Mr BGF. His late father worked for the SEC (then Powercor) and transferred from Benalla to Shepparton where he worked in the nearby building from the mid 80's. The family moved to Shepp in 1987 and Mr BGF recalls coming to this office on the odd occasion with Dad. And now back here 30 odd years later to make a cache find! Very cool hide too. Thanks for the fun hide Cybergran V.
We looked long and hard on a previous visit without success yet today it was a walk up. Might be worth a check to see if it has been correctly re- hidden. TFTC.
Apart from finding incidental caches in Shepparton when we have passed through before, we stopped in the city for a couple of nights and today we were guided around the area by a local cacher (for which we were very grateful. This was one of the caches we visited.
Despite accurate coordinates and a deciduous tree, it took a bit of hunting to locate this cache - it blended very well into the scene. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Cybergran V for the cache - it earns a favourite from us.

Found very quickly on second attempt. Waiting for geoboy to finish playing pokemon game in shepparton. TFTC. Cache in good order.
Trying to look inconspicuous on a busy road a bit difficult haha
Figured out where and what but still took a bit if time
Well hidden

Third stop on my walk around Shep while n0w0rries made his delivery, and a lovely quick find.
A simple and effective design that I'll have to keep in mind. And the fourth in this fun series added to the tally this morning. Thanks, Cybergran V
---
Got a phone call from n0w0rries.
"Gotta take a load of lumber up the road. It's gonna be really boring. Wanna come?"
How could I resist such a sales pitch?
So there I was, at stupid o'clock, walking through a dark cemetery to ride shotgun. As you do.

Day #10 of the MEGA road trip. It’s time to leave Albury and head back to Wangaratta to collect OZHockeyChicks car. Then it’s a cross state trip go Shepparton and Echuca to our new home for the rest of the week on the VIC/NSW border.
A different hide here that I’ve not seen before.
Thanks Cybergran V for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Travelling towards Wangaratta and we are stopped fairly close by for a couple of days. Thanks for placing we enjoyed finding your cache.
TFTC. We are staying on the are for a few days prior to the mega in Wangaratta. Teaming up with Liz and Bruce and muff1 we spent the day exploring around the area caching as we went.
We stayed flexible with our caching plans. We followed our noses and stopped as we passed by.

Thanks beaver, I found the base where you placed it, and replaced it where it belonged, now available for signing again.
Nowadays "K" is a simple abbreviation for okay.
Which it is!
Thanks again Cybergran V

Had the absolute pleasure of getting out with the CO doing a maintenance run on her varied and very interesting themed cache series. The CO got out of the car thinking l didn't find this one, but l had to wait to retrieve the cache as a car pulled up right next to me. Cache found safe and well and replaced in situ.
A quick find on a hot day. Surprised how quickly I found this one.
First time I've seen this method of attachment.
