The caching day just keeps getting better! Even a bit of rain did not dampen our spirits on this one. WP1 had one nut missing but did not affect outcome. Struggled a bit with WP2 but proof in the pudding with a correct WP3. A fun well set up cache. Your caches really are quality ww. Thank you!
Stage 2 of the cache has been repaired and ready for finding.Conditions for solving remain unchanged.Happy caching
### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information.. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by wandillup wanderer and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer -Australia
Saw this one came up and it looked interesting. Found WP 1 easily, built the construction (that was fun) and got the coords for WP 2. Found this easily and employed the required tool. Tried all sorts of things but unfortunately nothing was coming our way. Unfortunately a DNF for us today . Hopefully this is still here next time we come this way when we have more time to play further TFTC wandillup wanderer. Found on 5 Oct 2023 at 12:01. Find # 2811
TaurusSix and I had a lovely Saturday evening and stay over in Bridgetown. We watched a local Rep Theatre production which was good fun and good quality for a small town amateur production. After a lovely breakfast in down town Bridgetown we started our geocaching for the day. The plan being to clear up all outstanding caches around the Bridgetown area and then out towards Boyup Brook before heading back to Bunbury at a decent time to get life in order ready for a big work week next week. The morning was very foggy and frosty , layers were needed but by mid morning with the sun rising it burnt off all the fog and turned the frost to dew and it turned out to be a lovely warm ish winters day. Perfect day for geocaching and exploring this lovely part of WA.
This was our ninth cache find for the day and wow what a special one it was. We thoroughly enjoyed the multi cache we found way point one easily enough then we set about putting together the puzzle for way point two. This was excellent and very well though out. Soon had that solved and moved on to way point two . As you do we had a battery on hand for just such an occasion . It was difficult to come up with the clue for the final way point so we put our geocaching instincts to the test and what do you know we were correct and very happy to have cache in hand. The cache and the camouflage have definitely seen better days though and some maintenance is required. Thanks for another wonderful caching experience Wandillup Wanderer it gets a favourite point from us.

This is one of the best multis we've done. The favourite points piqued our interest and the description had us sold. Wp1 was found quickly and then we set to work finding flat ground and assembling the contraption. Very clever and we soon had the next co-ords. At Wp2 we dismissed the cache a couple of time but on closer inspection, its true nature was revealed. We could get the battery to work but nothing we tried would reveal the next co-ords. Our 9 volt batteries are actually torches so got on some awkward angles and managed to see what we were supposed to be looking for. After a few minutes we were able to figure out the final co-ords and made our way to gz. The final was an excellent hide, but the container is very brittle and crumbled in my hand. Log is soaked but managed to sign it anyway. This is deserving of another FP, but does need a little maintenance. Thanks for the adventure.
Replacement the cache (temporary) with permt from CO.
Signed the log as EV and thanks again

Staying at Maranup Ford for a week and took a day trip out to Boyup Brook today to take in some the sights, plus find a few smileys about the place of course.
Stopped in here and eventually had the stage two coordinates to hand but had to wait till we were on the way back after we bought a battery in town.
Came back but couldn't get anything to happen at the 2nd waypoint. Tried wriggling, listening, looking and thinking but alas had to leave empty handed. We will be back though.
wandillup wanderer I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day. I did have 5 finds today so all is not lost.

Catching up on some missing online logs.
The Better Half and I had a caching day that ranged from Bridgetown to Boyup Brook and surrounds after staying with friends at a cabin in Bridgetown.
We had fun working out WP2 but WP2 may have a problem with how it works as it took some ingenuity to get ground zero's location. Once at ground zero we worked out that if we had been more observant we wouldn't have had to go to WP1 or WP2 as the cache was quite visible in its camo as the camo was laying out in the open. Anyway log was signed and cache was returned to where it was supposed to be.
Thanks wandillup wanderer for placing this cache for us to find.

We found stage1 and then stage2, but we couldn't convince it to give us the final coordinates.
I am currently visiting WA from Adelaide. After staying with friends in Denmark for a few days, I headed further north and west seeking out some caches of interest.
This one wasn’t on my list, but I stopped in as I was passing by. And Im glad I did. It was a fun little multi.
It took me a little while to get the hang of what was going in at the first waypoint. The second waypoint was fine once I’d had a good look at it and thought about how it might work. And it was a quick find at the nicely cammo’d GZ.
Thanks wandillup wanderer for the cache and a favourite point from me for the work that you have put into this one. Well done!

2nd time here more determined to solve, even armed with a few hints took some time, fantastic puzzle and a sneaky hide a fav from us TFTC
This is brilliant! The most fun geocache I've found. I love the construction part and the 9V battery bit. It wasn't that difficult but it was a lot of fun. Nice work.
Fantastic, absolutely brilliant. A couple of the nuts have been cross threaded at some point and won't come off but the puzzle is still do-able.
What an excellent cache. Had a great time solving this multi with I C Nothing. Well worth the favourite point. Great job, can’t wait to find more of yours. TFTH
Staying in Bridgetown for the weekend so with 2Clueless in tow we aimed to grab a few more caches in the area we are yet to collect, especially from this CO.
This multi is one of the most enjoyable I have ever done. The first puzzle took us a bit longer than intended due to the geokid adding weights and taking things away on us but eventually we got the result we needed. Just for the CO to note one nut is missing but does not impact the end result.
Wp2 took us awhile I knew what was expected but could not get the way point to reveal itself. Whilst second guessing ourselves and looking for other solutions we realised that moisture / condensation was the issue so after solving that issue the waypoint was found and on to gz we treked.
Once at qz we saw the familiar but quality hide of this CO and soon the cache was signed and replaced. Both 2Clueless and us kept discussing how impressive this multi was and we have rewarded a favourite point. Thank you for giving this area high quality caches.

In Greenbushes with the sole purpose of hunting down the caches here with lots of fave points.
Well the day didnt start well with us having trouble at the 2nd cache of the day then having to revisit a previous DNF and then Mr Felix lost his Powertank pen.
Thankfully though we did find some caches albeit think we did most the hardway. It happens sometimes you get out of bed on the wrong side.
We definitely did this anyway but the easy way. Wpt1 was wonderful, we were really excited. We had passed by here last week but did not have the required tool so kept going today armed with the right tool off to wpt2 but... what nothing happens, do you do this or that nothing. sad face is understatement PAF but nope no help cant remember. PAF Im out call you back so we kept going to another cache when the phone rang the first PAF remembered okay we will return soon. on our way and the 2nd PAF rang with coords, but do you remember how we should have got them???? Hmm ponder think we did this as it didnt work either.... return to site try 2nd method nope try another option and there were the coords.
Finally off to the final GZ and clever cache spotted. each wpt is worthy of a fave point in their own right here but alas GC.com will only let us give you 1 so one hearty fave point coming your way.

enjoyed the 1st 2 stages thought we had done the hardest bit, wet and soggy day did not help had to give up the challenge TFTH
The South Western Highway is still the route we are taking and we are picking up a selection of caches as we go along with ilook4geo. The varied scenery adds to the beauty of the area.
This was a fun, but more challenging cache that we expected. Trying to interpret the assembly instructions was the first challenge, but we did sort it out and get the numbers in order.
At the next waypoint the recommended system didn't want to co-operate, so to find the required numbers we had to resort to Plan B. There is always a different way to get the desired result.
On to the cache itself, which we knew would not be readily visible, but it soon was soon found.
A lot of effort and thought has been put into this cache, but the effort required by each cacher to find it really deserves more like a 2.5 or 3 difficulty rating.
Even so, it still gets a favourite point for the fun. Thanks to Wandillup wanderer for the challenge.

We are enjoying travelling along the South Western Highway with goingplaces2 and caching along the way as well. This is one of the caches we found today. TFTC.
Woohoo! Found and whilst it took a bit of time was totally worth it! Found a little gecko friend along the way
On the way to Bridgetown for work and with the kids at their Grandparents Mrs DD2 came for the drive.
We left home early so we could grab some caches on the way down, then Mrs DD2 checked out town while I did a few hours work, then we drove further afield and grabbed some more caches.
Not sure if we'll manage to get all the souvenirs but nice to have some
Wow another fantastic cache. How do you come up with all these great camo's Did everything as required and spent a couple of moments working out where the cache was. Loving your work

Out on a caching run grabbing a few caches to earn those pesky souvenirs
A lovely day in Bridgetown and surrounds, well once the fog lifted but it did make beautiful views just a hazard when driving on the roads.
Well this one had us scratching our heads even though I looked at said item a few times thinking something looked off
Ended up PAF who steered me in the right direction which is what I had been looking at.
Muggle did the duty for me so I could sign and we found a little gecko in there, gecko then decided he wanted to move around while we were putting back cache so in the end we had to let him loose before we squashed him
TFTC and thanks for bringing us here. Well deserving of a fav point

Great construction again here add fav pt
Well 2017 is nearly over, so we must make one last hurrah with a quick road trip south via a number of country towns to our eventual target of Manjimup to bag and tag a number of green dots on the map that have alluded us for far too long. I also had a mini goal to grab the twenty remaining caches to ensure I beat last years total finds of 2554, which we easily knocked off today.
After a good gym session this morning we left from Treeby heading south to Bunbury, where we turned off and made our way towards Manjimup via Bailingup, Kirup, Grimwade, Greenbushes, Bridgetown and a few others along the way.
We weren't sure about grabbing the caches in Gromwade as it looked a bit secluded but were very grateful for the good sized containers and good hides.
Our favourite caches for the day were a number of wandollip wanderer caches which were all very well constructed and deserved the many favourite points that we gave them! Thank you for making caching very interesting especially the school hides and around greenbushes.
We ended up caching in the fading light in Manjimup with 50 or so finds for the day, a huge effort. A few left in town for us to grab tomorow.
Thanks to the local COs for their great caches and we look forward to finding the remainder tomorow.

Finally (on our third visit to the location) we are able to claim a find here. Very sneaky hide. Found after the CO confirmed that we had previously been looking in the right location. Another fav point from us Wandillup Wanderer
Thanks for the very clever cache. We appreciate the work that has gone into making this cache. Took a bit of a hunt and a hint from the owner but we got it second try. Favourite point added.
Pretty sure we were in the right place for the final GZ but after a good look, had to admit defeat.
M4yb, PP2 and megawat60 were having so much fun I decided to get up early and join them down in the south west for some caching fun. After meeting up in Boyup Brook we were on our way. Wow what an amazing surprise this one was. Well worth the stop and even the drive out. TFTC wandillup wanderer
Off down south with m4yb and the wonderful PP2 team, to grab some caches and L.G.As.

A little reluctant to leave the beautiful Tulip Cottage where we sat at the dining table watching the full moon set but this cache made up for it! Best one of the trip so far. Well done us, well done you. Have a fave. TFTC
Awesome thanks. I have stopped for this many times. Mainly on the 2 nd stage. Now it's crossed off and now the next.
After our event in Mandurah we headed to Manjimup to see my kids, and pick up some caches along the way.tftc,sl, tnln. love this one, fav from us.
pug002 27/3/2016 with UMeHedgie. This was worth coming back to finish off. We found the first two two days ago and as it poured with rain yesterday couldn't attempt.
Found the first assembled and onto the next step, darn it the 9 volt battery was broken in a new packet. Ingenious geohubby put my scissors and tweezers and bingo got the co ords.
Went onto the last part and blow it couldn't find it expanded search and nothing, Co said we were close.
Went out today with team UMeHedgie and made them find the first two parts then onto the last. Genius Frank spotted it after saying it is in this section both GPS and phone taking us here, bingo he got it. Well done champ! We did this on our trip to Boyup with square dancing group. They all think we are mad except Graham who introduced us to geocaching last year. Off to Bridgetown to tackle a few more multis. TFTC wandillup wanderer, how many hours did you spend inventing this one? Favourite for us

After staying over night in Albany it was time to head back to perth but along the way we stopped to grab some caches that we didnt get the last time we were here. Most were found quickly with a few that took a bit of searching. a great multi and the final had us searching for a while, well worth a fav point TFTC
I was cruising around the area tracking down the endless supply of olde skool sites today and ended up at 8 mile well.
Oh !! A multi cache [^]
We like mult caches [:X]
First stop and ...
... ooh !! Impressive waypoint container
Out tumbled the contents !!
Oh !! This is going to be good [^]
Much mucking about and I finally had a science lesson assembled in front of me
The numbers I needed to continue were soon found [;D]
Next stop ...
Oh !! I gave me last 9V battery to Treasuretrackers back in Denmark
MacGyver time
For some reason I had a four AA battery holder lying around in the glovebox
A couple of AAA's to connect to the loose wires should add up to a 9V battery
It was fiddly, but I managed to hold onto the loose wires and hold the whole shebang in place while pushing a button !!
Now what ??k
Nothing whirred or clicked !!
Bugger !!
Then inspiration hit !!
I peered and like a revelation from within, the magic numbers appeared !! [:o]
OK !! Qucik off to find me a cache
A very cleverly hidden cache
Well that was fun ...
... it took about 40 minutes of me caching day ...
... but definitely fun
TFTC ... worth a few more fave points than the measly one I am allowed to give it

Great effort put into this multi - we loved it but missed the full effect because one part not working. However we found a means to complete the multi. We appreciate the work in this cache. Thanks wandillup wanderer.
Words cannot express how much we recommend this cache, it's a shame that more have not tried. Yes it does take a little patience and time but it is well worth the effort.
Well done wandillup wanderer, we have enjoyed finding your caches over the last couple of days and this one capped it off rather nicely. A very fitting 13000th find thank you.
We picked up the TB and will move it on shortly.

We read up on this cache when we arrived in town a few days ago and as we are leaving tomorrow we headed out this afternoon to give it a go. The first stage was located and then the puzzling began. GeoL and GeoR assembled and solved within a respectable amount of time. Off to stage 2! Co-ords were spot on so the next part was found with no trouble. We utilised the required hardware and figured the rest out. Off to stage 3! It wasn't there, did we get it wrong? Nope not there. Widen the search area. It's not there. What a shame. Disappointment! Hang on! No!?!?!? Yes! YES! Unreal! Every stage of this multi is so well constructed and thought out. We really hope that it sees more visitors so it can be appreciated. A well deserved favourite point from us! TFTC! Brilliant!
What a grand adventure with Pippyhalfrat in a skirt and sandles! Highly recomend you to wear boots and long pants! Great cache! Best one yet! FTF!! WOOHOO!
Yippee Beans, another FTF with MogMot. the Wandillup Wanderer is becoming a master. I loved this, even with my ag-ed eyes. We have had rain but the bush is still crackly so wear boots and long pants. MogMot and Delisciousness found the scrub a bit vicious. Unfortunately the plaque acknowledging the existence of the little school appears to have gone astray, however I am sure that the Wandillup Wanderer is onto that. I have a dream - someone said once - that soon, kids from Bridgetown will be able to charge off on their bikes on a weekend and find all these small school sites. They will take a drink bottle and a lunch box, and mum will say "don't come back 'til teatime". They will be able to use their smart phones so they won't feel TOO disconnected. They will discover places they didn't even know existed and maybe learn a wee bit about what school was like in a different era. Thankyou Wandillup Wanderer !!!
