We came to Bunnings tonight for the Fathers Day Family Fun Night. We did have a really good time, enjoyed a hotdog, kids had faces painted and made toolboxes for Dad, dad had a turn on a model aircraft flight simulator, and we all checked out a police car. Best of all, it's all for free [^]
We had been past this cache before, but it was always busy and bunnings staff have smoko and lunch in this corner - so tonight we parked right next to the gz and the eldest daughter made the find.
Thanks for the cache to finish of a most enjoyable evening!

We got to the spot and gained plenty of scratches but gave up because of muffles and we weren't sure the type of cache we were looking for .
Up here with Cronies2 and grandson for a day of caching and relaxation. Looked for almost half an hour but still no luck. Will have to try again another day..
Out and about in town today to find a few caches.
There are some new puzzles nearby that I have just solved.
BUT, I just had to stop for another look for this one.
A short search and I had it in hand.
How did I miss that last time?
Thanks for the cache.

I'm in Toowoomba for a few days of camping and caching by myself
Day 4, and I need to head back to Brisbane this afternoon, but there's a few more caches to be gathered before then [^] This one gave me some grief I'd heard tales of the difficulties others had and was a litlle worried about it, and it is in a very public spot. Oh what the heck! I'll give it a try...
Well, I made a right mess of it! Suffice to say it took lots of dodging of muggles, trying not to look too suspicious hanging around the parked cars near GZ, feigning an interest at the non-existent view, and pretending to make phone calls and tying up my shoe laces, all the while trying to search for a cache. And even though I looked in the right place quite early in my search (and MISSED IT!!!!), I made 3 unanswered PAFs before I finally got hold of the second last finder, who told me to look harder in my first spot Geez! Hard won indeed! TFTC, inspyred.

I had to come to Toowoomba to have some work done on my car so I took the opportunity to have a couple of days with TriciaC2 and do some caching today.
TriciaC2 had been here before with her son and had a DNF. I was keen to have a look so we stopped off here as we were making our way home. We spent about 10 minutes searching and read the previous logs.
Eventually I spotted it right out in the open. Given what previous logs said we're pretty sure it wasn't in the right spot, it looked like someone had just thrown it here (maybe found by a muggle and they threw it in the garden?). We moved it back to where our phones put ground zero.

Found, almost by accident, at least 12 metres away from the cords, with Rhyssa6. A Bunnings man came to see what we were doing, being there so long. Previously not found with Brother Colin. We replaced nearer the coords. TFTC
Not a happy visit for us today. A pair of Magpies have made the area their home. They did not give us any grief, was just so lovely to see them so happy so close to all this civilisation.
Tftc. Mr beard got bitten by something so be careful. You've been bear'd
It was a great hiding place however we had to replace the paper as it was all moldy... It's all good now though
Searched the barrier and the bushes, found nothing but trash. Might have just missed it as we are novices. Will be back to try again!
No need to climb through garden. Log book soaked but didn't have one to replace it. Tftc
We were coming to the nearby shop for some stuff.
I am not a fan of walking over someone's garden to find a cache.
With two of us looking we gave up after a few minutes.

On the point of giving up we did one last look, and hubby found it! Bless his little cotton socks!! Coords were off approx 5mts. Very pleased to make the find TFTC

Hi there inspyred. We found your cache "Just the beginning" at 10:46:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 10791.
[Blue]
we have been visiting relatives in Toogoolawah, and now we have returned to Toowoomba for a while to see if we can turn the map of green boxes into smiley faces.
We popped into the nearby store to purchase some hardware for our caravan, and to do the cache of course.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Looked around here for quite a while - high and low - but no joy. Talking to previous finders that evening, we think we may have been put off searching the right place by an earlier log. Our thanks anyway to inspyred.
Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
Camped at the showgrounds with about 7 other Geocaching teams, discussion last night was around the Animal Alphabet challenge.
Plans were hatched to head off from camp at 8am to be able to claim a chalenge smilie.
After lunch Mr & Mrs Felix tackled some park n grabs to complete another day in Toowoomba.

I searched the crash barrier and the garden for 20 minutes but left without a find. Better luck to others.
Arrived into Toowoomba today but the guys had to go out to visit Bunnings this is one of those they found.
Thanks for placing this cache inspyred

Heading to Toowoomba today after the mega. We were able to stop for a few in transit and then managed to find a few more after we got settled at the Showgrounds. Lots of geocachers camping at the showgrounds to keep us company. Nice one Thanks to inspyred.
It seems this corner is the preferred lunch break corner for Bunnings employees -will have to try again another day as lunch time is not muggle-free time
We had to come to Toowoomba today for some business and were out in this area visiting the big shop nearby. Parked virtually right on top of GZ. Only about 2 meters from car to hide. Good concealment due to the colour of the container and where it was hidden. A pity there is a lot of rubbish under the trees and bushes as well. You do not have to enter the shrubbery. TFTC inspyred
After a huge day out caching to Stanthorpe, the kids were in bed and we were ready to relax when we noticed this listing...hmmm, been out for half an hour...no online log yet...has it been found. Mr E has a thing for stats and was after an *FTF* for March...so off he went. After arriving at GZ there was no trouble spotting this one...a night time raid was definitely the way to go with this one...no muggles to worry about. TFTC.
