Ah, the car - definitely an easier way to do the trail. Once at GZ the cache was easy to spot as the top was a little exposed. Sorry to the next finder, this should no longer be the case. . Cache in good condition. Thanks again.

Found at 4:27:00 PM, staying in Stanthorpe for a couple of days and grabbing a few caches before continuing on our way North to escape Wagga's winter. We started the Granite Belt Bike Trail this morning and soon realised that if we were going to have any chance of completing it in one day we would need a bit more horsepower so we swapped the bikes for the Geomobile.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 12 noon. The cache was found after a few minutes search. TFTC

Huh !! The car a marvelous creation ?? !! [:o]
Ask any cyclist who has suffered the road rage, the attempts on their lives, the random birs of plastic and steel chucked at them from cars by motorists and you will soon realise that the car is a double edged sword.
Sure it allows people freedom to travel, but in reality, it turns most normal, family loving, sheep raising, people into maniacs hellbent on killing not only themselves but anyone unfortunate enough to be slowing them down

I am personally fed up of road rage.
Tailgating !!
Motoristts and especially truckies trying to knock me off me bike,
And the general impatience generated by cars

The world was a much nicer place when horses ruled the road

I found this marvelous cache by the side of the highway today [^]

hoping to finish the remainder of the bike trail today, enjoying picking up some of the sweet treats and all going well until we lucked out here. we were driving and not on bikes but still a little weary in the late afternoon when we arrived at gz. we did spend some time searching before we gave up .

Day 3 of the return trip to Stanthorpe to collect the caches we couldn't find during the Mega weekend, due to lack of rain and too much rain, and to see off Team Robins on their epic adventure around Australia.

Today the plan was to head south and grab some wingaap caches which are always worth the trip for their creativity!

Too close to the other nearby cache to ignore, Ghostgums and I shot up here for a quick look around after cleaning our hands…

With a dog walking muggle in our presence, we paused momentarily before heading in for the hunt, then moved in to find the cache after a brief search… [^] Business done and all back in place, we headed off, ensuring the cache was safely out of sight from passing muggles.

Day 1 post mega and the day for us to clean up and make the whole of Stanthorpe "smile" again. We began in the south picking up caches that had missed the pocket queries. First one for the day.. Met Gold Coast Geos and compared notes then off to conquer more caches.

This was the last day before heading home after spending time at the QLD MEGA Event in Stanthorpe.
The weather was perfect and a 1/2 day of caching was being attempted. TFTC

On a geocaching trip with tmann421 with the focus being the MEGA at Stanthorpe. A fantastic trip away seeing a part of the country I had not been to before, collecting caches along the way. Stamped the logs with t&J or our names. Thanks to all the CO's for making this such a memorable trip.

A great days caching on a road trip toward Oz Mega 2015 with Team Crackers and The Coffees. Many differing experiences, some where I walked right to the cache and others where I needed to hunt around a bit. As usual I have enjoyed the various challenges set by the CO's and the fact that I get to cache with friends and am outside in the great outdoors.

After attending the QLD Mega we decided to make today a day of caching between Tenterfield and Stanthorpe. Weather was fantastic but highway was very busy - luckily most of our time was spent on the lovely country roads. About every 3rd or 4th cache we would run into other Mega cachers. Great to see variety, creative and a few tricky caches. Thanks to all the C.O.'s.

stopped for this cache, scrabbled around, found a few wrong places before finally Ratdog12 took pity on me and uncovered the cache hide - which she had been standing on. Team Boo had been intending to use the corner as a uturn bay when she noticed us walking back across the road. she stopped and asked the obvious question and so made the find as well. tftc

One of our favourite things while caching is Marvellous Creations though sadly we didn't have any.

We arrived to what we thought was a quiet backroad, not today! Muggles ambling around, walking and riding. Just when we thought the coast was clear and ventured into GZ another came jogging up the road. Fortunately jogging must take a lot of concentration, happily she didn't look our way. Heading out to get trapped in some red rock with Mini Munchkin and dabom81. Stopped off here for a quick park and grab first. Not sure what we were doing, but dabom and myself missed the cache to start with Ah, there it is! After signing the log, we replaced the cache as it had been found.

When I first spied this series, I thought id walk or cycle it, turns out, its more of a driveable Trail...

Visiting QLD from Central Coast NSW, and attending the Stanthorpe MEGA EVENT for about a week. Camping at the showground, caching days done mainly with SpikeyMikey, meeting up with members of CCG, HAVOC, and others from all over Australia.
Many thanks to all responsible for a smooth operating event, my first Mega, and first visit to Stanthorpe. Plenty of reasons for a near future visit
Whilest it did rain and drizzle almost every day, I much preferred this over hot days, which is what I encounted on the Gold Coast return journey, as well as a repeated bout of coughing with the flu on the long drive home.

Out and about this morning by myself for a few finds. 
Todays adventures are taking me south and over the border to sign a certain Challenge cache.
With plenty of time spare I am finding those caches that I have not found on previous visits to Stanthorpe.

Braving the rain we decided to hit some caches south of the mega this morning, though not a power trail like yesterday. Another bike trail series by chance and made a fairly quick find on this one. Just wondering if someone has hidden a body under that huge mound of rocks as it is much bigger than needed to hide a cache! Thanks Rainforest Cookie.

Found on the fourth day that Phetlern, Gonefishen07, Zobo04 and Maccamob and I had cached together during the MEGA event. Another great day's caching with no DNF.

Had a great day great caching with Alansee, Maccamob, Phetlern, Zobo04, Lazzal and The Coffees. Found lots of caches some easy to find some not so. We signed the log as GLAMPCZ. Found as part of a short caching adventure before the official start of the OZ MEGA with Slieschke, Yorkshirekiwi83 & Vistra 0n Thursday 17th April. All logs were signed as "3ST"

We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the drive and the caches that we were presented with (learning along the way some local acronyms SPOR which occasionally we turned in to LPOR )

Our fourth day out and about around Stanthorpe, and we enjoyed more of the scenery, some wonderful caches and the company. We also made a start on the new Lab caches. A wonderful view here. Arrived in Queensland early yesterday morning and headed straight out here to Stanthorpe. Oh so many caches and only such a short time for us to find as many as we can, whilst still taking time out to catch up and socialise with all the other geocachers who are in town for the big event. Headed down into NSW today , then crossed back over the border again into Queensland. No problems finding this one. Thanks again Rainforest Cookie
