A quick find while caching with Talla64. The mission today was to find the Lost Stations of the Hutt caches, and any other caches that were in the vicinity. Thanks for placing a cache on this nice walkway. We had an enjoyable walk.
Found while out and about with Flowerydaze. We were hunting the lost stations of the hutt while close by to this one so collected it also. Interesting to note that the entrance to the walking track from Benmore Cres is all fenced off and under repair by Downer construction so the only entrance to the walking/cycling track we could see was from Owen St to the south. TFTC pukeho 1
Walked in from Melling, time to return after this. GZ was ambiguous so last of the 4 I tried of course. TFTC pukeho1!
Another day, another cache to keep the streak going on the home stretch. There are not many available caches left on my journey to and from work now, so I'm having to be a little more creative.
Like parking up about 60m from this cache on the quiet side road, and then crossing the motorway. Not something I'd recommend doing during rush hour traffic, but at 8pm on a week day it's quiet enough not to be much of an issue with due care.
Found the cache on my second pass, and soon took care of logging my name and replacing back as found.
Thanks for setting this series up.

I have to go home for a zoom meeting tonight, so I didn't want today's cache to be too far away. So I just cycled the extra 3 kilometres to this cache. Which turned out to be a good thing as it started raining. But I had suspected it might do that so had my raincoat with me. The cache was an easy find and then another 3 km home.
Flung on the return leg as coordinates that were slightly out and an approaching muggle put paid to our initial search on the outward journey. Went straight to it this time. TFTC
Found after a lovely walk from Belmont Domain and a short search finally in the right spot! I love these TFTC
Found during a bike ride not far from home, good to be out and about again. Cheers
Nice quick find on my sunny morning walk. Gosh it is getting hot out here. Almost walked straight past DZ on this one as it was not where I had assumed it would be from 100m out.... nice quick find though once I realised. Log is starting to fall apart a bit though might be due a replacement. Thanks for the cache
Pulled off at Manor Park to grab a few caches. This was the first. Able to claim 1.75 km towards the DGSc distance challenge. Thanks for the cache.
Out for a walk along the river today - quickly found here. Log a little damp, but not bad. TFTC.
I parked my car at the Belmont Domain, outside the scout hall, and went for a run up the river trail. I have often looked at the trail while driving along SH2, and thought I should check it out sometime. The trail was deserted; I saw one dog walker the whole two hours I was away. After a few DNFs I'm starting to get lucky again - though this one took a while as I was initially looking in the wrong place, but as my GPSr settled I eventually noticed the problem, went to the right place and found it quickly after that. All good here. TFTC.
This one was really nestled but easily accessed whereby the log completed and returned to the GZ. TFTC
Tim and I come along here for a bike ride yesterday. We had such a good time we decided to come out again and do more or less the same thing. Dexter the Border Collie came with us this time. We took an extra little detour across the footbridge by the Paintball and along to the rail bridge. We parked here to have a look for this one on the way back.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

There must be some puzzle caches I haven't solved along here, or else there's just nowhere good to put a cache between here and #10 some 800m away. There were plenty of candidate hiding places near GZ depending on the accuracy of the coords but as it happened the GPS took me directly to the right place for an instant find. The only muggle of the day rode by while I was signing. That's all along this walkway today for me, heading back to Manor Park now. TFTC and indeed all the caches along here.
Out for a walk with Mrs G, picking up a few caches along this stretch of the trail.
Of course it was the 4th suitable spot I tried!

A nice quick find, thank you to gasbottle for your directions. Cute little hiding spot! Out on a walk between Belmont and Manor Park on a sunny Autumn day. Thank you
Only a small number of possible hide locations at GZ, so a nice quick find. Found during a training run around the Hutt River and Pukeariki trails. All good at GZ.
Got a little stuck here. The coordinates took me directly and very precisely to an object that would match the hint. Nothing there . After rummaging in several similar nearby objects I found the cache as described but about 7m north.

Was heading back home on a cycle training ride and realised I had the ideal opportunity to collect a few in the series, making a slight diversion. *TFTC pukeho1, #9313*
#2253 found with Wb-Jnr and logged on sheet as WBx2 to save space on logsheet.
Thanks for another cache of the day and providing an opportunity for another 'post operation recovery walk'. This one just under 3km and feeling great.

Another straightforward find - the most trouble I had was retrieving the cache from it's hidey-hole. This makes it the last in the series for me to find, after picking up FTF on three of them. TFTC
Thanks for the cache. we had a nice walk along the river trail and picked up a few caches on the way .
Another dry clean cache, had to wait for a runner to pass before I could grab this one, lovely fresh morning down here... starting to feel like autumn though

Taking a walk down the river bank with the geodog in the hope of finding a few caches. A bit of a walk to this one which was quickly found in its nice little hide - SL and left as found. Thanks for the placement pukeko1.
Cache # 3,094 - Did today with Astro Hunter and the geokelpie - the dog's second cache and another long walk. This one was a little over 3 kilometres round trip from Manor Park. Had seen the construction there for months, and only recently realised that it appeared easy to get to starting point again. A beautiful day for a walk, and cache was found soon after investigating a few possible locations. TNLNSL. TFTC!

#1890 Went for a very pleasant stroll along the river this evening and made the fund quickly. Counted 13 kereru (kukupa) at one stage on my walk from where I stood. Amazing! TFTC!
Co-ords were out so searched all the trees around until we found the cache wedged between two branches, Thanks for the cache. Did with Mycro Man.
Cache was out on the ground, but it took us a while to realise that Have nestled it back in, was still intact and dry. Tftc
Smells of cabbages around here. Busy wee track today with muggles on wheels whizzing by. Had to time my cache-grab carefully. TFTC Pukeho1 - nice spot
A nice day for a walk along the track. A quick find with no muggles in sight. TFTC
Found while cycling the trail from Strand Park to Manor Park. The wife has a new gel seat which is so comfortable she disappeared out of shouting distance as I pulled up at the GZ. Of course she got back in time to tell me I was looking at the wrong tree (husbands being unable to work out that if it's not in the tree you are looking in it must be another one ). Luckily there are a limited number of candidates here and the cache was soon found safe and secure.
We came from the north. grabbing the other 3 on the way down. Surprisingly the rain held off, so it was a pleasant walk. A nice quick find by TrinaSian. TFTC
Second attempt at this one, I am sure I looked in this one before but must have missed it.

I was quite surprised that today's very unfriendly weather gave way to a very pleasant evening today, so a great opportunity for a impromptu bit of exercise pushing the pedals along the Hutt River trail. Not many places this one could be hidden!
Many thanks for the cache pukeho1 [^]

Saturday caching. Knocking off a few on the river trail. Cycling visit.
Straightforward find on this one. Dodging a few muggles.
Cache in order; log signed, then safely re-hidden, just as found.
Enjoying this series of caches that have created reasons for visiting this attractive part of the city.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too

Missed it on the first pass and ended up trying all the trees in the area before returning to the second checked and finding it. Coordinates weren't all that accurate for me. Signed log, TFTC
I started from Manor Park and enjoyed a brisk walk in a brisk evening, When I arrived at GZ, I wondered why the cache wasn't nearby where searching could be done more discreetly. Like some earlier finders, my GPSr couldn't decide which item contained the treasure so I resigned myself to having to check them all. I got there after a few minutes. TFTC.
Nice quick find this morning on the way to work. Lucky that the coordinates this morning were spot-on for me, and it was found in the first place I looked - uncanny & unlikely after reading previous logs. Niiiice.
Really needed a quick stride & blast of fresh air - also needed to fill two days on my grid, so this was a good find for that. Now time to head off to work.

GPS put me in a wide open space, I searched two nearby objects but with a bit of reluctance because they "bite." I see that someone else searched four objects before finding the right one so maybe I need to widen my search.
Joint 3TF with the awesome4sumnz, while out on a night time geocaching mission. The kids enjoyed walking the river trail by torch light was quite the adventure for them. TFTC
Decided I needed a bit of a stroll this afternoon, and the 1.4 km car to cache each way fitted the bill nicely. Took ma a few minutes to locate, as my phone GPS couldn't decide between 4 likely objects, so I checked them all out. TFTC and the exercise.
#6359. FTF @ 14:40 and first day find. A nice walk on the Hutt River Trail. The trail was pretty quiet, meeting only a couple of cyclists on their way. Quick find at GZ. Nice hide. The cache was in excellent condition. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the cache.
