Worried this is going to get archived.
Did my part, as did my Kiwi partner back in 2018.
Thanks!

Checked on one of the entrances to the cache, and it is still blocked off (not safe). The cache is still accessible during low tide from a different direction.
If anyone in NZ wants to partner, I have the Toronto details. Would like to check this one off my list.
I got the final coords some time ago, but had trouble finding the cache. I was there just after the big landslide, but came up empty. It was kind of exciting going up a staircase that ends quite literally in mid air.
With the recent find, I decided to give it another try and managed to make the find. I hope my international partner is still around so I can tell him the good news. TFTC

Congrats to Agazo on finding it! Not a problem that it took a long time - life often takes you in other directions! Actually, I'm surprised that it is only 3.5 years since I offered to help the first time, it seems a lot longer! I helped 3 groups in that time, and 2 have found it so far.
Wow - a multi with over three and a half years between waypoints. Tregearp and I were in Toronto in April/May 2015 and solved the final coordinates for this one. Tregearp managed to find time during one of here Auckland visits to log this earlier, but I've until today not managed to be able get the time to get to the GZ.
I'd contacted the CO about the access being closed and was provided an alternate which I intended to use last night, but the crew who attended the West Auckland Catch Up were a blast and time slipped and I realised it would be dark before I could get there.
A local advised that the access path to the north is actually fine, so albeit high tide I decided to go for it.
The path was fine, but on getting to the beach there was a drama playing out with a young lad calling 'go Dad go' whilst there was an adult in the water chasing a fishing rod that had clearly caught something that didn't want to be caught and was heading for open waters.
I made my way SE and needed to cross one fallen Pohutukawa and then some slip debris. Once past (and wet up to the waist) I was in the GZ and the cache was a quick find.
It's a bit worse for wear - damp and tear on the fold line. I signed at the bottom so the pen wouldn't tear the paper further, dried the container and replaced as found.
A FP for sure - it was great to start this challenge and I had no inkling it would take so long to complete. In its own way, it added to the adventure - although the in car change of clothes might have raised some eyebrows from the locals.
Thanks Uncle Sam for a great cache.

Final GZ is blocked off, no way to access the area except via boat or long walk during low tide.
Will active once area ready. And also check on cache.

My NZ partner went looking for this in March with little success. He reached out to the CO...still waiting to hear back? ...
From Toronto - heading to Auckland next month - happy to partner on this...
After visiting WP1 back in July I contacted a resqucat in Toronto. Because I live at the north end of Auckland I said there was no hurry to get back to me. Last week I thought I should ask again and had the numbers in hand within the day. Many thanks to her for not only sending me the numbers for the final but she had also worked out the final co-ords. I worked them out too with the same results (of course, but I felt compelled to do the calculations anyway). Today I needed to come this way again so made a detour to see if I could locate the cache container. Took me a wee while but finally located the goods and signed the slightly damp log. Have a bit of story about my search today but don't want to give anything away! Thanks for the unusual multi Uncle Sam!!!
Teamed up with garball to work on this multi. Stage two was fairly close to my home, so I walked over before jumping on the subway and heading to work one morning this week.
What a great concept for a multi and an interesting way to team up with folks from across the world. Thanks garball for contacting me, and Uncle Sam for an interesting and inventive cache.

I’ve been working on this one for almost 2.5 years! I think it was F33Apilot that first told me about it, and on 8 April 2015 I posted a note offering my services. After not too long someone approached me with the first stage coordinates, but it took me a long time to go find the info for the final. I feel badly about that, but the redirect location wasn’t near my usual travels. Anyway, once I had that, I also tried to help 2 other groups, but no one actually ever made it to the final. Until Lostcourse, that is! He (or she? not really sure) answered my most recent post, and even though I didn’t get him the coordinates quite in time, he was able to make it back there a couple of weeks later to make the find! A vicarious virtual adventure for me!

How wonderful it was to awake this morning and see that my partner,
Dragon_Griffin, was successful in finding the cache and signing in.Congrats
Dragon_Griffin and thanks for teaming up with us to make this a successful
venture. Loved seeing the photo you posted and we are glad you stayed safe.
Our thanks also to the CO for setting up the cache which allowed us to reach
across the water and find Dragon_Griffin.

With a late start to the work day today, I thought I would take advantage of the wonderful winter weather and indulge in a spot of cache detection. A check of the tides suggested that this was an opportune time to track down the final of this international multi. I was out this, general, way this time last week and noted that cool_easy_cache was looking for a new partner. So, I made sure to visit the first waypoint. Calculations done, I fired off a message. The reply came back, later that day, in the affirmative and with the details for the final.
I was, obviously, keen to get back out this way and claim the smiley on this one. Splendid views from the trail head on the approach to GZ. As I approached GZ I couldn't help but note the large slip, which forced me to wade through the water. I was concerned that the cache may not have survived, but a check of the cache page revealled that Dragon_Griffen had recently found the cache in the current environment. Indeed, after a short search, I came up with the goods. Signed myself and cool_easy_cache into the logbook. Then I hightailed it out of their. Cheers for the multi cache placement!

I teamed up with Butterfly5 for this one. The information was easily located at WP1 and sent over to Toronto. They sent back the required information I needed find the final which was only a few kilometers away from me, although I had to wait for a break in the weather from all the torrential rain we've had before retrieving it. Knowing I had to get tides right I headed to GZ as the tide was going out but my path was blocked by a recent large landslide due to the recent rains! I had to wait a while to let the tide go out either further to get round. Once at GZ I was slightly nervous of approaching the cache as the landslide has taken out some of the staircase. I contacted the CO to make sure I was on the right track, and sure enough I was... luckily the staircase seemed stable... for now, and the cache was quickly located, TFTC!
I can still partner with someone, the previous people I partnered with never completed it. I have the coordinates for the final, send me a note with the Toronto coordinates and I will give you the final.
We are interested Dragon_Griffin and have sent you a PM.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Teamed up with gmfbob ftlrom Canada to complete. Took a chance look without looking at tides.....damn high tide. gmfbob had allready deen waiting on me to collect for a wee while, so i waided at times near waiste hight in freezing NZ winter water to get to the GZ. Initially i went too high up the path and found a bottle wedged into the side of the hill....thinking this was it i heaved it out and experienced a click followed by pain in my right hand. Not quite sure without an xray but maybe a broken or dislocated finger. Reset my gps and headed back down the path to make a relatively easy find followed by another waide through the water. Tftc and the adventure!!!!!
It looks like I did the easy part on the Toronto end with the 1/1 DT and Nakored did the much harder part on the NZ end. Thank you to UncleSamNZ for creating this unique cache and thanks to Nakored for the partnership.
Teamed up with AmazingRaceCanada to do this one. He scored the Toronto numbers and we got the Green Geo-checker Tick so today I drove to the area before work this morning....but it was way too dark for me to attempt to get to the GZ so came back at lunchtime (20 minute drive from work but you gotta do it eh?) The tides luckily were right and the clue lead me to the spot but with some trepidation (the next cacher will know what I am talking about).
Tnx UncleSamNZ for a great international multi and tnx ARC for your Toronto input. Gets an FP from me.

(Decided not to log this as a "Found it!" because it would dramatically affect my stats) Here's the story, though.
At the end of April, Jard1037 contacted me asking me to help him out on this cache - a type (international multi) I had never heard of before. Cool concept, but why me? He explained that I had recently signed a cache near to the spot he needs information from, and asked if I would go look for the information for him. Sounds easy enough, right? Except the cache that I had found in Toronto was one of many I found while there for work. I'm not from Toronto at all. I told him I'd love to help but that it would have to wait until my next trip and, as you can see, that wasn't a problem at all.
Sunday was my first time back in Toronto since the end of April and right from the City Center airport I went to get the information. It was exciting to be a part of this and I was excited to "meet" someone from virtually half a world away through geocaching. (It was also interesting to realize that I traveled MUCH farther to get this information than any of the other Canadians involved.)
When I was in New Zealand in 2009, I hadn't even heard of geocaching at all. Found the information easily and relayed it, and Jard1037 acted quickly with it and went to sign the cache. I see he logged it today (your time) and signed my name in the log book. I hope to be back one day to New Zealand to sign it myself. Thanks Jard1037 and UncleSamNZ for introducing me to this neat concept.
P.S. As a Montrealer, I am honour-bound to note that while I agree that "The New Zealand All Blacks are the best Rugby Team in the world", the next statement that puts "Toronoto [sic] Maple Leafs" and "best Hockey Team" in the same sentence couldn't be farther from the truth. Yikes. GO HABS GO!!!
P.P.S. Leafs suck.

Found ... had been to the first cache location & grabbed a photo of the required sign board ... 'frenchyfaith' had responded to my request for a Canadian team member ... so I sent off the information so that she could get to the stage 2 cache & set about obtaining the stage 3 coordinates for me ... this was suscessfully done ... I have had the coordinates for a couple of weeks but the tides have been all wrong & as I'm 30 km away its proved to be a bit of a mission getting to GZ to get the cache ... this was successfully done this afternoon ... log filled in & replaced.
BTW: I had also been contacted by 'rebel10' who had had a problem with a previous cacher who had agreed to help her ... she also contacted me from Canada & I agreed to help ... 'rebel10' also supplied me with the Stage 3 coordinates ... so from my point of view everything is 'legit' ... helping both these ladies out.
I enjoyed the experience of working with both of you ladies ... apologies for the delay in getting to the final ... but it's all worked out in the end.
TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,337 for us.

I contacted McMike2012 for this one as I live in Toronto and hangten10 had told me about the teaming up for this one. This was very easy on my part. Thanks to him for all the leg work and back and forth after not finding it the first time. Thanks for creating this one, it was fun!
Last year I connected with a NZ cacher and got a group of canadian cachers together. We connected four canadians with 4 NZ cachers. Things did not work out as planned and my name never made it into the logbook. I was finally able to connect with McMike2012 who generously got it in the logbook. Thank you UncleSamNZ and McMike2012 for the smilie.
Had word from the CO that the cache had been muggled but had now been replaced so today we returned and found it exactly where we had searched and searched on the previous visit. Thanks to Hangten10 for helping us with the Canadian co-ordinates. TFTC
TFTC. This is the first time I have ever teamed up to find a geocache far far away! Really fun!! Thanks to gernita for going to the GZ twice to grab the find. Seeing the picture of the area around the GZ, it looks really nice. Lot better than Toronto! Is it okay for me to log the trackables in my possession to visit this cache? Why not!
BTW, I'm an Ottawa Senators fan and the Leafs are one of my most hated teams. =) Hope some day I get to visit Auckland. I have a friend in NZ but she lives in the South Island.

Replaced cache container. By the way...the "keep out" sign" wasn't there when I first placed the cache :-p
I'm in Toronto and can help out any NZ cachers on this end. Send me a message if you're interested!
Hiya all ... I can do the NZ end with no issues ... just looking for some help from a geocacher in Toronto ... anyone keen to team up? Cheers McMike2012
Spent about 30 mins looking and even contacted the CO who gave me a call back - we were definitely in the correct place and despite following all his instructions/hints we still came up empty handed
We(battlebarbie and Gradi3nt) are looking for a Canadian geocacher to team up with. Message either or both of us if you are available.
Cheers

Find # 2682. Teamed up with Beconaze to complete this international effort. Enjoyed the anticipation the back and forth communications as we progressed with our respective task to achieve the find Thank you very much UncleSamNZ for the interesting cache.
After teaming up with JS&SV we exchanged info and thought we had done something wrong, but we were surprised when geochecker agreed with our efforts. The daffodils were out at WP1 and we took a good look around an area that we had driven past before and thought it was just a patch of grass but it is actually quite pretty.
At GZ we did not have too much trouble except to note that the steps are extremely slippery when wet

Not today! After unexpectedly getting the final coords from butterfly5 in Canada when Pagenz has suggested me to them, I had planned to pick this up for a while. Finally got an opportunity this evening but after making my way to GZ my GPSr struggled under the trees and never says I was any less that 10m away. Tried to follow the hint and even with text advice from the CO had to abandon the search before the tide cut off my escape route. Never mind, another time. Plenty of other caches around here for me to come back to as well.
Kia ora. I'm a geocacher from Toronto you would like to team up to complete this multi.
I'm more of a Montreal Canadien fan but will join in for the fun. I can be reach via the message link.
Looking forward in hearing back from anyone interested,

OUt and about with Team Welsh and this find was top of the 'MUST FIND' list. My thanks to Terryer in Canada for his assistance in completing this multi. T4tc
Out and about with Pagenz who ended up with about 5 Canadians for this cache, so figured I could claim one of them.Great place for the final and a nice walk to GZ. TFTC
Teamed up with Team Welsh to complete this unique cache. Stopped by the Toronto location with Rebel10 and gathered the required info which was passed on.

So glad to be part of this multi spanning the globe. New Zealand has been on my list of places to visit for a very long time. Thanks to Pagenz for my virtual visit. Hope you make it to Greenland and Iceland some day soon. Interesting ideafor a cache, thanks.
Found the first waypoint not long after publication and sent the next stage coordinates to my teammate F33APilot. A quick reply back with the final coordinates but it has taken until now to sign this one off. A bit further away than i was expecting but today we were in the area to finalise.
A nice walk to GZ and the cache was quickly found in a lovely peaceful spot. TFTMC UncleSam!

Find # 2405 on Sunday, July 05 2015.
A multi-country team effort was required to log this cache. I teamed up with mike-miss to find the Toronto portion and they were able to use that to log the New Zealand portion. I was very happy to help with this cache find.
Thanks, UncleSamNZ for the cache!

Teamed up with Willipan from Canada.
Had a lot of funny moments with this one, wasn't even on the radar but was heading to Toronto and the 15 year anniversary was coming up so thought we'd host an event in Toronto. From there Wilma introduced me to the All Blacks Toronto Maple Leafs cache, however a planned trip to Toronto was prior to a planned trip to Auckland. With Wilma's assistance actually got to all 3 waypoints.
The final GZ was at a part of Auckland I didn't know well so had some difficulty identifying the right access way, first tried at night with no success. The pressure was on to locate and log for fear of another diplomatic incident after our Trade Minister recently shook things up in Canada over trade deals. After some paddling, possibly some trespassing that I would never admit to, I managed to locate the GZ and sign the log for team Willipan & Tregearp. A great idea for international caching relations.

I met up with Tregearp in Toronto when she organized a 15th Anniversary Event at Queen's Park...I helped her with the Toronto end of this multi and when she returned to NZ, she signed me in. This is a great way to build international caching relations! Nice doing business with you, UncleSam!
I can help out with the Toronto end of this cache! Just send me a message!
Delighted to find this enjoyable multi. Teamed up with Toronto cachers PSICANFolks two days ago who were super quick with all replies! Yes, they were keen to get the info at their end.
They were going to be in the area of WP2 this weekend, and after a couple of email exchanges my Inbox delivered the required info so the maths for the Final could be completed today. Soon enough the Final coords were in hand along with a green tick.
No time like the present to get a smiley, so headed out the door only to see black, watery skies to the south and west. Yikes, needed to hurry up to grab the cache before I got soaked. As luck would have it, the black skies went around me and I dodged the worst of the heavy rain shower.
Approached GZ and thought hmmm, this will either be a lucky find or a lengthy find. Spent about 2 minutes scoping the area, before coming up with the goods. Shall make this a lucky find as the coords were a tad different for me. Still, the hint is very valuable.
Thanks for setting up this fun cache UncleSam, I did enjoy it.
Yes, Im a huge All Blacks fan and now I shall have to prick my ears up when I next hear the Toronto Maple Leafs being mentioned.

Thanks to avoyager for allowing us to be a part of finding this cache despite being half-way 'round the world! What a fantastic idea for a multi... first of it's kind we've seen and we love this "global cache" and are now considering doing our own variation.
Our part was easy and led us to a familiar part of town... but also led us to a quite amazing day of wandering through the city.
For those not in the know, "hydro" in Ontario, is synonymous with power or electricity as most of our power comes originally from the hydro electric generating stations in Niagara (at the falls) so "Hydro Ontario" was the power supplier and the name has stuck through the years and changes in power sources. It can be quite confusing to out-of-province friends when they hear us say, "The hydro's out." when we mean the power has gone off.
Lastly, the All Blacks are awesome... The Leafs were awesome... well... up to 1967... after that, not so great. Right now, they're on a race to the bottom (literally!) and only the "Leaf Faithful" can watch the train-wreck known as Toronto Hockey right now.
Thanks for the cache!

Hi, we're looking for an Auckland cacher who would be able to answer the first part of this multi that we can team up with. We're Kiwis but going to Toronto in early May so can do the Toronto waypoint.
What an adventure! Had not even looked at this when it was published thinking I did not have the time to run around right now. Was looking at the geocaching website last night and saw this had not been found as yet so decided to reach out and find a Canadian cacher to assist. An affirmative email response came back a few hours later but as I was looking after my sleeping children I could not leave immediately for WP1 - 6.30am today worked much better . Information found and emailed immediately and the waiting began.
I stuck around the general area today awaiting the reply but when it came I was quite surprised - it was not where I had imagined it might take us and to back up our worry we had made a mistake somewhere was that geochecker also did not agree. Nevertheless I decided to go for a look anyway. Unfortunately we got to 100m away but there was a temporary barrier in the way. Off we went to run some errands and returned a few hours later to find the coast was clear and we could get to GZ.
I can't really say much more about what happened next or GZ otherwise it would spoil it for other teams but its a really cool area that I had not been to before but will certainly return to.
Thanks for the fun and of course a big thank you to Owen15 for his speedy assistance. Favourite point from me.

Thanks for the fun and of course a big thank you to Owen15 for his speedy assistance. Favourite point from me.

I just woke up to the news that we had gotten FTF! I was the Canadian correspondent on this adventure. I received an email from keylev yesterday morning (Friday for me) about joining her team. It sounded like such a cool idea that I had to agree, especially since FTF was still up for grabs! I recieved the coordinates for my location in the afternoon and although I was out all day, was able to stop by in the evening to get the numbers I needed. The final coordinates were calculated quickly but due to the issue with the Geochecker I spent some time rechecking before eventually just sending off the coordinates with the numbers I had found at my location. Fortunately our coordinates were correct and we were successful! Thank you very much to keylev for reaching out to me! I saw some photos of GZ and it looks like a beautiful place. Favourite point from me for the fun and unique idea! TFTC
Found this with keylev and laval. and help from Owen15. I had so much fun finding the information in NZ. It was very dark in the morning so we took torches then keylev emailed it all to Canada. I have met some Canadian people before while they were on holiday here and we still have some flag badges from them which we took to leave for other finders but they did not fit in the cache.
We had to go back twice to find the cache because it was closed off for a while. It was much better the second time and lots of fun. Hope we come back again soon.
Thanks for the cache.

Found with keylev and cragger with help from Owen15. This was loads of fun. I was not quite sure why we were going out at 6.30am with torches but I want to do it again. The final area after we had the information was very cool and we played for a while. I hope keylev will bring us back here again.
