midmy7 I didn’t find your cache Midmy's Playground #2 - Campanology on 25/11/18, 12:48 pm. From the hint and photos had a look around but nothing.
Could not find it anywhere, spent a little while looking too. This is the second time trying to cash in the cache. Still no luck
Searched for about 15 mins at night with a anti-geo husband . Will return with eager geokids in daylight with lure of the swing .
Older logs have become mush in the bottom of the cache - cache needs cleaning.
We wish there were passionfruits on the vine to celebrate our find!

Passed my driver and made my way to newton to finish the day off with a cache! Found easy enough due to the dying passion fruit plant.
Was in the area with geogirl collecting a moveable cache for Geocaching Australia’s States of the Nation Games and decided to make a detour to this park.
Yes, they are the coolest swings ever! Can’t believe they are still allowed to exist given how pedestrian and safe playground equipment is these days. The cache itself was a super simple find. As I looked up from my phone in the direction of the arrow the little cache was glinting back at me. Signed the makeshift log and returned as found. This one could do with a new proper log, sorry I didn’t have suitable sized replacement on me.
Thanks for the cache midmy and for introducing us to this gem of the park, we are inspired to come back and spend some more time in this lovely area exploring further.

It IS a pretty green bird on a wire! Thanks Midmy. However the log inside got wet and is ruined
This was going to be the first cache of the day but unfortunately I couldn't find the cache. I decided to have another go later this evening and didn't log a DNF. After finding a few caches around Newtown and in Sydney Park, I wrapped up the search with second attemp on this one. Fortunately, luck was on my side and my second attemp was a find. TFTC
Thought it was near the swing....but the hint made us realise it wasn't! Found it
Pretty easy to find however the paper inside the cache is ruined. It must have got wet. Please replace the paper with new TFTC
The logsheet is a crumpled piece of paper that is jammed at the bottom of the container and needs replacing ASAP.
Mr Ozjeeper searched while Mrs Ozjeeper had a rest on the thoughtfully provided seat nearby. Mid-week is a good time for playground caches (:-).
The hint was certainly helpful allowing us to have a reasonably quick find in a deserted park but we were unable to sign the sodden, crumpled logsheet that was jammed at the bottom of the container (a blurry out-of-focus photo of the crumpled logsheet is available as proof of find if needed by the C.O.).

Really nice Park. Noteboom thoroughly lodged into the cache and too waterlogged to remove.
Went over to the spot thinking I was looking for a magnetic cache but found the cache hanging around it. Very similar to the cache in the lane way near Newtown station
I looked for this one more than a year ago but didn't find it. However this time it was very easy as it was entirely uncovered. Log was wet so a photo to the mid my will have to do as proof of find. TFTC
Such narrow streets surround these playground caches. And a tiny park squished in for recreation. Great hint helped here. TFTC.
Parked between two of the playground caches as we knew it was going to be tough to park in this area. Approached the park and then saw the swing. Wow, that's interesting. dingoman007 and I had a go but somehow couldn't get coordinated enough to get any good action. So I left dingoman007 to work it out while I went in for the find. I read the clue and knew where to look but somehow it eluded me. Of course the minute dingoman007 came over to help, it was spotted immediately. Legals completed, we went back for another try on the swing-y-thing. Thanks midmy7.
What a cool piece of equipment, I could spend all day on this. Well maybe not, it does get quite tiring. Cache found quite easily as the passionfruit has been dying off a bit.
Another good find on a geocaching holiday around Sydney, down coast and up to Canberra, across to Wagga Wagga, up to Bathurst and finally back to Sydney.
Thanks for adding to the good fun I had on the road trip.
Log fairly wet.

TFTC, found it today. Been here few times before with kids. They love that swing. Log is water damaged.
Log was very wet. We dried it in the sun while playing on the swing. Paper is a bit fragile, so be gentle with it. TFTC
Great little park! Looks like the locals take really good care of it. And the swing-saw is fun for even the not so young geocachers. Thanks!?
Found 22/03/17 without much effort. The log was full on one side and was all damp, CO will need to replace it.
Oooo... good one! Great way to hide a cache like this in a public park. The log sheet was a little bit damp from all the rain, but I was still able to sign it. TFTC
Not an area we usually have a reason to visit but today a quest for fine buttons in King Street had us here. We had no littlies to enjoy the swing with so had to be content admiring the vine and garden. The cache was within cms of where we thought it might be but the container was a bit more obvious than what we'd expected. The recent rains have dampened the log quite a bit but we gave it enough sun and air to allow us to sign. Thanks midmy7.
Those passionfruit vines look very healthy, and the cache was there as advised. Don't know that I'd be going on the swings but little people are braver!
Thanks midmy7
Thanks midmy7
We had just replaced the cache when the heavens
opened and we had to run for cover. Pity, would
have liked a wee shot on the playground . TFTC

Sad to say dnf. Found a good spot wher it could be with noted "green," too many spiders in there and was not brave enough for possible redback living in there. Will check back another time.
Nearby for an engagement party. Got within 40 mts, 2 muggles at GZ. Another day . . .
We were lucky this afternoon in that all the many playgrounds visited in this series were more or less muggle free making the searches nice & easy. TFTC!

Picnicking with friends nearby and decided to grab a cache or two. Great swing? Many thanks!
After finding one of the other caches of this serie, C wanted to visit this one too on her way back to the train.
You'd never expect that many places for kids to play in a big city.
I'm glad about it, and glad there is a CO who want's others to know them too.
The hint made it easy to spot the birdy.
Because there were no muggles it was easy to grab the cache and go on for the next one.
Thanks for this one.

I'm in Sydney for one night. Stopped by the park on our way to a counter meal at the local pub. It was already dark but my friends played on the swing while I searched. I finally saw a glint when they started to get impatient and shined the torch my way. Thanks for the cache, midmy7

OCW Mrs A on a beautiful day. Took us a little while to find the hide but once we had the CIH we did the signing. Visited some geocoins out with us today. We like this series very much because it takes us through the back streets of St Peters/Newtown to some great little parks and interesting residences. TFTCF midmy7.
Great one for the kids! No muggles but the neighbours were playing some beautiful classical music which made looking for this one particularly enjoyable
