Spent a good amount of time getting sent left and right from the compass on my phone, decided to look high and low to the location on the map to no avail.
Had a pretty good look for about 15min then gave up as time limit being imposed on me. Will have to try again one day.
No luck here for me today. Had consistent co-ords and after PAF I knew what I was looking for.
tried for about 15min but with no desc or hint was not sure what I was looking for. tried reading between the lines in previous logs but did not help either

I haven't been to this place for nearly 10 years. Not just the park, but the 'oasis' itself. I chose a poor evening to come though, with council works impacting on half the park and an icy wind freezing the remainder. Rain through the day had topped up the pond causing the frogs to be in fine voice. The jogging track is in much better condition now compared to a decade ago. It was dark by the time I had to meander through the oasis and my fingers were struggling in the cold. Fortunately, luck and circumstance conspired to make this an instant find for me. Anyway, there was enough challenge in just trying to sign the log with numb fingers!! All good with the cache, but it could do with a new seal bag - sorry, I didn't have one with me.
Thanks Bucks23, for a nostalgic venture. I enjoyed the subtle difference of this hide.
Well played!

After finding #1, I wandered to this one, finding only a few passing muggles. As it is cleverly hidden off the track, they paid me no heed. Looking for something small, I looked around, before changing my perspective and made the find. Thanks for the cache, Bucks23.
Start my Mission weekend with crank1 find a favourite point to add a new souvenir.
Enjoy walk toward the cache.
Great hide and cache.

Work commitments had me in the area today.
I had a 10min window so thought I'd look for a smiley.
This was a nice easy walk and a quick spot from the right angle.
I signed the log and was on my way.

Out on a morning caching run of the 10k with Ahomburg & 88Andy88. With expected rain it was great to have a sunny winters day but with a cold wind chill.
A nice quick find in a quite spot while Ahomburg & Andy giggled while watching me trying to find it. Like how this was done.

Found it retrieved it signed it and replaced it after visting the grand-daughter in hospital we grabbed a couple on the way back home. Thanks Bucks23 FTC.
Jesse and his eagle eye. Well it is easier for him but not sure what the oxygen is like being as tall as he is

An afternoon of caching with 88andy88. He'd already got these, but I still needed to find them.
Plenty of lunchtime joggers & walkers to avoid so stealth was at level extreme today.

Foggy night soccer lights and torches helped. With geoteen - did not find the other of this group - but found this one after bush path. I usually give up on these ones in the dark but spotted this with torch and got the smiley. Thanks
Decided to grab a few on the way home after playing (and losing to) Wheelers Hill in the D grade winter baseball comp.
Now I'm doing them out of order, started at 1 and going clock wise.
Relying on my phone and signal is a bit erratic, and my geosence compromised when even a small amount of altitude is involved.
Thanks

What a nice little spot. Not much water or frogs around today but still a great little spot to stop with the kids. Tftc
Having driven past here numerous times I have never been in a position to stop off and have a try. Today I was able to remedy that and set off for a walk around the park. Following the needle I was led right to it and was pleased to spot it quickly. I like the way this was hidden.
Thanks to Bucks23 for the cache.

After failing to find the path and instead dragging my heavy mountain bike through the scrub, it was a quick find at this one. Thanks for the cache, it's great to have a caching tour of this reserve
The mini adventure around the park continues. I walked around and around for a few minutes totally confused, until geomissus stepped in and pointed out the cache to me. duh! Always good to have a caching partner at hand
Found today after watching the Softball tournament at Jells Park.
The oasis was bone dry! Great spot & no muggles on Good Friday!

First official day of caching day with my new 'gang' member - my grandson. Found with AreWeThereYetOrWhat. TFTC!
Out to pick up a few caches before we have to go back to NSW - with AWTYOW, Dwight Shrute and the geo-gangstas. TFTC!
Geo hubby had hawk eyes for this one. Spotted before evils look. The camo could use a bit of touch up as it did stick out. TFTC!
Located after geodad had a quick search for The Oasis and could not locate. Geomum was happy to have located this one. We enjoyed our walk around Freeway Reserve Circuit. After our walk, we enjoyed our picnic lunch before heading back home. Thanks to Bucks23 for bringing us here.
Quick walk into the bush after a muggle kept on their way, and the cache was in hand and log was signed.
Lovely afternoon for a walk here.

I had walked the walk to find the other three over a year ago, and can't recall why I didn't go looking for this one, possibly I was put off this one by the swampy warning. But today it was a quick walk in to GZ and the cache was spotted from several meters away for an easy find. TFTC
After Mr Pooky completed his park run at Jells Park we headed to do this group of caches which were nearby. This was the first cache we completed on the circuit. After waiting for a number of Muggle walkers to pass we headed into the bush. Once the GPS settled down Mrs Pooky made an easy find. We dropped off "Monster in a Box" TB so he could continue his journey. TFTC and bringing us to this great park and walking track which we did not know existed.
Second time here. Tried to find this one months ago but to no avail. Just glad to have been able to find it this time
This morning kmace and I found a cache series a few kms away. While we were having lunch we decided that we still had plenty of time to do this series too.
We drove separately from our lunch spot and met up in the reserve's carpark. We decided to look for this cache first. We had a lovely stroll along the trail to GZ and chatted about all things geocaching as we walked. Being at her height kmace spotted the cache as we approached GZ. She retrieved the cache and we both signed the log at 4:35 pm. TNLN. kmace then returned the cache to its hiding spot.
Thanks Bucks23 for the nicely camo'd cache and for bringing us to this beautiful oasis in the burbs.

Found this one with ladioactive today. I saw this one as I approached it and it was an easy find and we signed the log. We then continued on around the rest of the park.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
I was out getting some caches for the start of 2016 and decided to do the circuit around this park. Lovely day after a sweltering one yesterday. I had to laugh when I saw this one. In Plain site!! SL TNLN. TFTC
Found this somewhat blatant hide after a little circling about the gz, co-ord's were good which meant for a quick find, thanks Bucks23 for the hide. Thanks for bringing us here.
Well today, 6 months after finding number 1 of this series I finally have smileys on all four. It has been good to have these caches nearby work as I have been able to find them on days when I needed to fill my calendar. With 2 work days left for the year I detoured passed here on the way home and made a relatively quick find. No water nearby today Thanks Bucks23 for a good series. TFTC
Oops it looks like we are doing the circuit backwards. This was a cute little area off the beaten track. I thought I was looking for something different here after a slight hint the CO gave me a while ago about one of his caches. I was looking in the opposite direction to what I should have been but when I adjusted my gaze I saw it. I was within half a metre of the cache. TFTC
Like gooseandegg, I too had cache blindness. This was an effective use of a sistema - good one.
We made good time heading back from the Mega at Casey Field so decided to stop and stretch out legs in the later afternoon sunshine and do a lap of the reserve. We circled the wrong way as we did number 4 second. The GPS and instinct took us directly to GZ but a bit of cache blindness sent us searching all around. Eventually I came back to the same place and there it was. A favourite for this simple yet cunning hide. TFTC
I stopped to wander and this loop of caches after attending a nearby CITO. I loved the variety of containers and camos. Thank you for the caches Bucks23.
I stopped at the Freeway Reserve whilst I was making my way towards the city during a cache run today. I had few hours to kill before meeting up with some others later so spent a nice hour meandering around the circuit here, finding the caches along the way.
The tree coverage had my GPS struggling to settle on one spot for GZ, so I just started to searched the general area. It took a little while and then I found it. Thanks for the cache.

With the afternoon getting on, I was chasing this last cache before continuing on my way home. First up I found the Oasis...fortunately completely dry as I found it by walking through the middle of it. Then I discovered that there was a school nearby...lots of teenage muggles heading home. Thinking that I might have to abandon this one, I spotted the cache from a distance...all that I needed to do was, with the help of the trees, approach the cache without being seen. Job done, I signed the log and made my way back to my car and the mad afternoon traffic.
Thanks Bucks23 for the cache.

This one was the last cache for us to find today. It was a lovely walk around the reserve. Geodog enjoyed it immensely. An easy find. TFTC
Forgot the pencil. Found on 27/9 after panther on 20/9! Love this. First timer and this little series is great!!
Caching with PantherX and thought we would knock this area off the list. Nice weather today and surprisingly quiet, free of muggles! Thanks!

I was out caching with Hawley3 today and we were picking up caches around Chadstone and Brandon Park, although we probably would have got a couple more had it not been for muggles. We had a few caches to find in the park today and this was our first stop. The high terrain rating had me worried as I wasn't really dressed for an off-road adventure but we didn't end up having any trouble at all. The pond is a nice spot but it wasn't too damp around the paths today. Once we got to GZ the cache was quickly located by Hawley3. Thanks for the cache, Bucks23!

We'd cached this area before and this was the only cache waiting to be found. We arrived at the pond area where the frogs were in full chorus and soon found the cache by the light of a torch. TFTC
I seriously NEVER get sick of hearin freeway while I am in amongst tress and caching ..
Nice stop. Off for lunch.

I played around here when I was young.
It was good to come back to the area and do some caches.
A lot of memories came back to me as we walked around the track.

Nevertheless a smiley was in the offing, so after a quick poke around it was discovered and logged.

Was totally not what we expected. I would avoid this one in the summer months due to the possibility of mozzies!

Had an afternoon to spare so packed the stroller into the car and headed off with Geobaby for a nice circuit of a park I had never stopped at before. It was a bit chilly at times but sheltered from the wind at this end of the park. A bit tougher terrain for us here but I managed not to get wet feet and fortunately spotted this one pretty quickly. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited a trackable. Thanks for the cache Bucks23. Only 3 out of 5 in this reserve today so we have reason to come back!
