Very pleased to finally put a smiley here. This one has been on my target list on a number of previous trips up here however each time I have failed to find one of the feeder caches... causing this bonus to be unceremoniously scrubbed from the list. Today though the final cache fell on its sword and the final part of the bonus puzzle was collected. Sat in the car to work out some numbers - looked viable - and off I went to investigate. Recent logs suggest this one was a bit tricky but happy to report I made the find pretty quickly. I was on the right track straight away and after a few attempts uncovered the prize. All I'm left wondering now is what did this podium originally look like - try as I might I couldn't picture anything based on what's here today. Have a fave for a memorable series All good here today - TFTC
Unfortunately I was unable to locate this cache today. I will add it to my list and hopefully return soon to claim the prize.
Spent about 10 minutes checking all the places we could think of but couldn’t locate a container today.

After a few hiccups along the way, I finally managed to accomplish the mission .
The description of a podium at GZ took a bit of creative imagination to visualise and added some doubt about my coordinate calculations, but all was resolved in the end.
I added my mark to what was a very soggy log sheet after emptying the water that had infiltrated the baggy.
Thanks for the challenging series!

Well we got it, new lesson is don’t assume where each other has checked! It was literally the first place we looked today and we just stared at each other. Thanks so much for checking on this so quickly olthomas. We’ve dried out the log and container. Signed the log, TFTC
After being over a year since it’s last find we had our fingers crossed that we’d be able to find this one but no luck. We enjoyed finding the feeder caches and doing the puzzle for the finale, will keep an eye on this one. Thanks for setting up the series.
Happy to say the cache is still there. It’s under the top step of the podium but the silver and bronze medal steps have gone missing or weathered away!
Nice walk up from the beach end with the dogs and boyfriend in tow to go and pose on the "podium" and sign the log. A muggle with a doggo came walking along but he was pleasantly distracted by my geodog, good girl
Thanks for the feeder caches which were good fun to find and memorable as they were some of my first finds when starting caching. Finally cracked the puzzle and am able to finish this off, thank you!

Plans were made a few days ago to meet up with Barnzy12 and do a caching run north of the river as far as yanchep and cache our way back. We had a very good day with about 50 finds with about a dozen puzzle caches included and we were very fortunate to be in the area where FTFS were published and we managed to grab 3 of them. Most caches were found without any problems with a few that took a bit of searching. A big thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches
Headed out for a caching run with ooh yeh with the main goal of cleaning up the Alkimos area, we started early and worked our way up to the alkimos area ultimately finishing up in Yancheng before grabbing a few more on the way home, including a slight change of plans for some FTFs of which we managed to get 3.
Finished off the day with the new cache at shipwreck park.
All in all a good day out with approximately fifty finds including a number of puzzles.
Thanks to the local COs for their hides.

Yay, returned today and proudly climbed the up on podium. Container had water in it but the ziplock bag was doing its job and the log was nice and dry.
TFTC olthomas this is find # 5495 for us.

I collected 2 of the clues yesterday which by themselves left me head scratching. I had to revisit a previous find to get the last clue and then it fell into place. My maths was good so I collected another smiley. Beware the very yappy dog. Pic taken along from the podium.
After driving around Mindarie collecting the clues to this one, it was time to do some calculations. My co-ords put us in a likely spot, so we set off.
Parking up, we made our way along the path towards GZ, where i managed a quick find and a blank logbook .. sadly many logs from being FTF though!
I added our name to the logbook and emptied a small amount of water out of the container before rehiding as found. Not sure how the water is getting in .. maybe the seal is no good [?]

Finally got around to checking up on this one. The site wasn't in our opinion as bad as expected (maybe mother nature has tidied up a bit or maybe others coords take them to a slightly different spot) so we have replaced the log and left the GZ unchanged for now. An additional hint has been added
Have finally gotten around finding this finale. Log is still wet even thought it's a new zip lock bag. And looking at all the toilet paper that is here...i think gloves may be in order! TfTC
Out and about with Parkacruz for some early morning caching. We only got 4 this morning, but we have done our exercise. A quick find here. TFTC and the puzzle.
Before the sun woke up we headed off with Neva2old to claim some more smilies, after completing the stages a few weeks ago and solving the puzzle we had a nice quick find here, however the log is wet, in saying that have noticed that it has been temporarily disabled by the CO, they are onto it Great work TFTC
Pic is half of Parkacruz and all of Neva2old on the podium

Not so quick for us today. Hopefully we have better luck with the rest of this series. TFTC
Whoops! Logged the finale instead of a stage. Hopefully we can complete this series quickly to iron out the kink.
Phew. Glad we sorted that out quickly. Took longer than necessary to find the finale, we were overthinkingit a bit. Found cache with water inside, we've placed a temporary log with ziplock inside as the original is wet.

With today being the first day of school holidays for the kids but the wife still at work, I took the day off and headed to Yanchep.
Been years since I was up here. Remember rowing a boat out on the lake. Not much water here nowdays!
Was passing by this final on the way home so had to stop off and finish what we'd started a few weeks back. Took a few minutes at GZ but eventually unearthed the cache. Was half full of water, log is quite damp too. Signed as best we could and headed on our way. Fun little series. TFTC

We collected all the clues required to solve this one on our last visit but did not have the patience to solve it at the time. Heading up to Gingin to do the new series so took the opportunity to look for this one. The container was full of water & the log book was wet too. We dried it out as best we could & the trusty power tank pen meant we were able to sign the log. TFTC olthomas
Thank you! I've taken to jogging around Mindarie lately, and grabbing a few caches while in the neighbourhood. After I had all the clues I needed , it didn't long to find the answer to the puzzle. Another jog today, and found this final after.
I'd solved the puzzle for a fellow cacher many months ago so had the coordinate already loaded into my GPSr. We parked in a culdesac and walked to this and a traditional in the other direction. I had a photo of the remains of the cache. I haven't got any internet left this "month" but will upload if required. I left a blue clip and a bit of the container at a rock at GZ but the entire thing had been smashed. Thanks for the series.
Another fun day caching in the Northern suburbs, with Hiddo at the helm, .K.B. and megawat60. Having found the previous caches and noted the clues, we headed for this spot. Unfortunately, muggle action has happened, and one of our geomates took a pic of the cache remains. TFTC olthomas!
Out with m4yb, Hiddo and KB for some cacheing up north.
TFTC and series olthomas.

Found the three caches OK, and have answers, but can't for the life of me see how this relates to the puzzle. Think I'll have to put this one in the pending folder !!! Cheers.
Minergal & I had collected the clues for this one quite some time ago. Minergal did some research, came up with some digits and off we went this afternoon after work to find the finale. A successful find here today. Thanks for the series & caches!
Having completed the 3 clue caches to this series a while ago, i finally sat down and worked out the answer and the coordinates to the gold finale, this afternoon. Fabulous Panda and I took a journey back to our old neighbourhood and enjoyed the stroll through the bushland and the magnificent views. Thanks for the series and TFTC ☺
Please note that this is a mystery cache and is not located at the posted co-ordinates. You will need to solve the clues and calculate the final GZ!
After completing the feeder caches several weeks ago we returned home to ponder on the clues. We know nothing about competitive cycling so this took a bit of Googling amongst us to come up with a plausible answer. Fortunately we got it right and happy to make a quick find this morning with iluvtrekking. Thanks olthomas
We collected the clues quite a few weeks ago but couldn't find what we needed at first but eventually we joined brain power with richlink and solved the puzzle an reached Le Podium. Thanks for the challenge olthomas.
Went down for a while with the dad and dog but after half an hour weird looks from people driving past we gave up
Headed out to try my luck with this one with the geoson in tow
After collecting the clues about 5 months ago to work out a likely gz. Apon arrival things just didn't seem right, had a bit of a search anyway before heading of empty handed
Will review my clues before having another look

Quick find at GZ this afternoon in a beautiful piece of bushland. This is a nice little series - hard to believe I am only STF for the finale, 4 months after it was first found. Sorry but I don't have a photo as I am allergic to selfies... Thank you for the cache and for the series olthomas.
FTF at 10.30am. I sat down with the clues and my smart phone and before long had a set of co-ords to take me to the finale cache. After about 5 minutes of searching I finally had the cache in hand. At least this one was a reasonably quick find after taking far too long at the last two. With the morning now half gone I rushed back to the car to get back home for a very late start in the office. I was in such a rush that I forgot the podium photo. Sorry. Loved the series though olthomas and a favorite point from me.
