Found together with spockfan during our drive from Coober Pedy to Port Augusta. Thanks for hiding .
Day three of the road trip to Coober PedyLeft Woomera and headed north for the main aim of the trip, Coober Pedy. Found six traditionals and did an Earthcache before arriving in the opal town. Checked into a nice underground accommodation then headed out to cache. Wasn't expecting to, but managed to completely clear the area in, and just out of, Coober Pedy of all unfound caches for us both. Which, as neither of us have been to Coober Pedy before, was all of them. A great day of caching in a very unique area with a lot of interesting history. Celebrated by dining out then returning to the unique and interesting dugout to put our feet up.Looked here and there, and even contemplated elsewhere before finding the cache and stamping the log. Then was delayed even more by having to explain to a passing policeman the we weren't the potentially nasty people he was looking for, just a couple of innocent cachers going about their business. Thanks to thewhitedoggang for adding to the playing field with this cache.Smilie #15135.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
Day 3 of our 5 day trip to Coober Pedy. We stopped here hoping to make a quick find but no such luck. Moved to look inside and something very alive made a sudden move so we were out of there FAST. TFTC
Cesta mi zabrala pes 8 hodin vetn zastvek u keek, na vyhldkch, toalet a nkup kvy a coly a dvou kratch prochzek a jedn men off road zajky pro starou keku. Hopefully I can do it. It wasn't as hot as yesterday, so I drove 540 km to Coober Pedy quite easily. Along the way, I stopped at a few caches and some of them really amused me like Permanent Hell i Population ... flies .... 2.000.000. Thats true ! Thanks for all caches I visited and greetings from Czech republic.
On a campervan trip across Australia from New Zealand. An easy find here. Looked at the wrong container first.. TFTC
Took a bit to find and there it was plain as a cog. Good hide. No room for writing so didnt leave comment.
Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case thewhitedoggang, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
On my roundtrip along Australia with Oopie we are douing always some caches.Today we ware on the way from Adelaide to Alice Springs and we did a few nice caches.CO thanks for bringing us on this nice place and make this cache.
Found by The Empire + HOn our return journey from Coober Pedy to Port Augusta, we retraced the route that had initially led us into the heart of the outback. The vast and ever-changing landscape of the Australian outback welcomed us once again as we headed south. As we ventured further, the transition from the opal-rich territory of Coober Pedy to the more varied environment of the Flinders Ranges became a familiar sight. The red earth and desert plains gradually transformed into the cultivated fields of hardworking farmers, demonstrating their resilience in this challenging terrain. Thanks for the cache thewhitedoggang.- M@empiregeocaching
Travelling with iluvtrekking from WA up the coast to NT and down through the Centre to SA and back home over the Nullabor. After spending a couple of nights in Coober Pedy, we headed twds Woomera picking hides along the route. Quick find here thanks whitedoggang
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches along the way. Moving day. Today, we are off to Roxby Downs. This is one of the caches we found on our route. Thanks WDG.
'Seen but not Signed'. Then I dropped both extraction tools in & gave up. Some you win...
Heading towards Prominent Hill this afternoon, only time for a few quick caches along the way.
Enough of nothingness along the highway to check out other places
Find number 29699 for me.
Thank you thewhitedoggang for hiding this geocache.

A trip to Perth checking out some of the awesome places along the way in ACT, NSW, Qld and NT. Grabbing some old caches and missing LGAs. TFTC.
A great icon in this store landscape. Nice hide.

Not only would I be interested in the history of Harbutts Town House, but I am also curious as to how this structure got here. Did it fall off one of the many road trains that travel up this road? Or did it just run out of steam.

Together with my favorite geocacher Milonguera we traveled to Australia We went to Melbourne via Singapore and from there we explore the south, the center and the east coast.
We walked around Melbourne and had a nice meet & greet event. Than we visited Philip Island with the pinguins and the Great Ocean Road. We fed and petted kangaroos visited the koalas and continued north to Coober Pedy.
**Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for showing the location and for hiding the cache. You should come to Berlin in Germany to find a lot of interesting geocaches, visit lost places in the surrounding Brandenburg and meet nice people at many events.
I wish you a lot of fun and great adventures while searching for the next geocache!**
Thanks for the cache!

Love it. Not a lot of paper left to sign. Didn't have any more to put in it, so if someone else has some spare it would be good.
Was almost unreachable but reached it with a magnet. Placed it back in its proper spot (we think). TFTC.
Sir_spectre and I went on a long overdue holiday to the Northern Territory. We had some great experiences and saw some amazing natural wonders. Not all went to plan - covid closures, flood effected roads, renovations, hot weather, some car troubles and not forgetting the huge jump in fuel costs
Any caches that needed repairs were fixed and numeous logs were replaced or added too.
Thanks to thewhitedoggang from mogni

We stopped, we read the sign, having been to Tarcoola i don't understand the sign either, looked in, There are bones in there. Mogni failed to find it. I reached in and with longer arms got it, stamped and replced. nice UV protection for the cache.
Mogni and myself went to the Northern Territory for a 10 day holiday. We drove 5478 km's in those 10 days. The plan was to go up the Sturt highway and then go via Ayers Rock, King's Canyon and then through to Alice Springs stopping at the gorges/chasm/gaps along the way. As you can expect nothing goes to plan. Day 1 Adelaide to Cooper Pedy, made it just before the Roxby Downs turn off and blow the side wall on the tire of the 4x4, 193 km detour just to get a tire and even then it was the second tire place that had the tire the correct size. We had camels come in to the campsite in Erldunda Roadhouse, they even left hoof prints 1/2 a foot from the tent, at King's Canyon we had dingo's come through the camp ground both nights we where there and at Alice springs we had a mouse move in under the tent in their campground. Some of the aboriginal towns we passed where in lock down because of covid 19 so no going in to get fuel there, that changed some plans. The floods where way worse up in Northern Territory than i realized. Some creeks/rivers i could see the debris over 2 meters from the river bed and down one 4x4 track it washed the road away completely, the hole was 3/4 the length of the 4x4 and over 6 foot deep. The temp was 33 to 36 for 9 of the 10 days and finally cooled down for the drive home. We got 7 different caches types in the N.T. plus every different cache size. It was a good trip but not the one we planned. To many of the roads in the N.T. where damaged and not repaired ( still closed ) so that cancelled plan A but that's just a excuse to come back isn't it. Come back and see what you missed last time when the roads are fixed. We came with 19 regular " geocaching size " containers and a milk crate of small containers by day 7 all the regulars where used as replaced caches and by day 8 the smalls where gone. It was the UV rays a lot more than the floods that killed the caches and almost all the log books where saved, the micro containers seemed to have constantly full log sheets so they where replaced too.

I have never been to Tarcoola so I have no idea where this Harbutts place is. I did find this little blue chap though. Great spot for a cache, easy to park here.
I thought the container has been muggled when I saw a screw lid on the ground but the cache is in perfect condition. TFTC
Out and about with Purrfect Di and Jack...
Despite rumours of there being nothing at Tarcoola, it remains on our bucket list due to several small green marks on our map!!! Not today though sadly.
A nice quick find of a smaller than expected but neatly hidden cache.
Love this part of the country.

Geoniece once again raced me to this one, she spotted it glinting in the sun straight away. Another nice quick find. We had to hide it again as it wasn't really hidden before. The log below me from geoniece (hflr) contains a picture of how we hid it.

Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving from Coober Pedy to Kimba.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'thewhitedoggang' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'Harbutts Town House' and for the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
For our 14.000th cache we give a fav point.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

From october 16 to november 6 2019, my wife (lp.dk) and I visited Australia for the first time.
After a flight of more than 20 hours, we landed in Darwin. After 2 nights in the city we continued in a rented car first towards Kakadu National Park and later towards Alice Springs.
In Alice Springs we were picked up in an off-road bus and went on a 3-day trip into the wilderness, with overnight stays in a tent close to Uluru.
Back in Alice Springs we drove all the way to Adelaide, from where we flew to Sydney, where we visited our son who has settled there.
After 5 days in the city, we flew back to Singapore, which we visited for 2 days before the final flight back to Copenhagen.
In total, the trip lasted just over 3 weeks.
On the trip we would like to find / visit as many Earth caches, Virtual and Webcams as possible, but also the other kinds of caches when possible.

Found while exploring Australia for 3 weeks from the USA with my husband ACLCoordinator, Dirkster007 and Detour429. We signed the log LADD to save time and space. Thanks to everyone who placed the caches we found along our route while we visited your beautiful country!
Here from the USA with Aclcoordinator, linclonsaunt and Dirkster007. 1 week left of our 3 weeks here and it been so much fun. Seen and done so much. Many thanks to the CO'S for placing the caches along our journey. SL-LADD for the group.
Found in the company of Freddo, e.gregory1, Team Waldron, occasional cacher out of retirement SteadyOn and muggle friend Tony during an awesome trip to the Simpson Desert, staying at Coober Pedy, then camping out at Dalhousie Springs, three nights in the Simpson Desert, Birdsville, Clayton Bore and Aroona Valley. Thanks for the cache thewhitedoggang!
Cache was found as art of a Simpson Desert trek by Team Waldron, Freddo, Featherwaite, E_Gregory1 and a couple of muggles.
After Coober Pedy it was off to Dalhousie Springs then across the desert to Birdsvaille south to Clayton Springs and then one last night in the Flinders.
A great trip and we even had time for a few caches.
Took a few minutes to get this one despite 6 of us being there.

We had headed off on an outback adventure but unfortunately it was cut short with Mrs Just a Trifle having to return home to attend to her elderly mother. We were quite rushed and only managed a few quick stops here and there to stretch the legs and search for a cache or two.
This was one of the caches we decided to stop at to try our luck. We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you thewhitedoggang for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy
