Leaving Coota after and two night stay, I picked up this one at around 6:30am. Took a little while, but only rethought things after seeing that the size was other/? TFTC
Straight forward find, quicker than expected. Almost took longer to replace the log than to extract it TFTC
Finally we are on our way to Canberra for the GeoBash. We set up camp in Coota for 4 nights and visited the town and some of the outlying places. We loved the bike ride along this part of town - would be a cool AdLab with all the animal sculptures. Thanks for contributing to our holiday Darzee Di
Short ride from camp this arvo. Nice little hide in plain sight. Hard to fault these little devices. Thanks team for another today.
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 15:After another swim in the mineral pools it was off further south towards Wagga Wagga, making a few stops along the way.It is interesting that we have found a number of caches along this trip that were marked as unknown size. We would normally have classified these as micros, but interesting how things differ slightly from place to place.A nice walk along here to grab this cache. Thanks Darzee Di for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. The [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) is on 18 February 2024.Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? Why not check out the geocaching lists available on the [Geocaching Victoria Website](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/). There are plenty to choose from including all of the previous nominees and winners of the Victorian Cache of the Year Awards.
A loose plan was hatched for a 3-week road trip with RoamingHowie to explore locations in Country NSW wed not been to before and of course, find a cache here and there.DAY FIFTEEN: Crossing back through Temora, this time towards Cootamundra, then Bethungra, Junee and Wagga Wagga. Targetted this one for being unknown size. Surprised to find a micro. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Darzee Di ~ ~
TFTC. Got it out without a tool this time but would recommend a tool for the next finder. Partner in crime missed out he's not premium
What a great little hiding spot. We went for a little walk around town, as we are only here for a couple of hours before driving on through. Thanks for putting it in a wonderful walking spot.
Find#5669Nice hiding place What nice weekend for a road trip to Wagga Wagga and surrounds Thanks for the cache
It was fitzy_1965's birthday this weekend, so we decided to head out west for a bit of caching.Great weather and great company lead to a great couple of days caching. All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.
33,677. Found with minniek during a lovely country run this weekend celebrating another trip around the sun for me.After being away a month it was great to get out and do a country caching run with minniek again. We chose the Binalong / Harden / Wallendbeen / Cootamundra / Young / Boorowa circle to do. Our aim was also to enjoy a nice Pub dinner in Wallendbeen and to camp in Cootamundra after hopefully gaining revenge on a previous DNF down that way (which we did). This was the next find of the day. Nice to finally find this one. A quick find once at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on our journey to the next cache on our list. Thanks Darzee Di !!
Out caching with Decrypter, Trodectus & Binliner. Cache and log are good. Pretty pink blossom and yellow wattle nearby; although not Cootamundra wattle. TFTC Darzee Di.
Found with Goldenwattle, Decrypter and Binliner while on a caching tour of Cootamundra. We parked and took the path to GZ. Once there we soon had CIH. Log signed and we spent a brief while looking at what was left to mark the bridge. GW took a few photos and we headed back to the cars and continued on our way. TFTC.
Without this cache we would never have visited this spot. Thanks for the history and TFTC.

A bit of time to kill in Cootamundra, so I walked from one side of town to the other collecting finds.
Thanks OtterCreek29 & Darzee Di

Walking to GZ and wondering about the bridge as the path took us along the bank of the creek. We made a quick find at GZ and looked up to spot the signage. After reading the history of the area all made sense.
Thanks Darzee Di for placing this cache

We searched from either side for a few minutes, then swapped sides and Sue immediately found the cache. No wonder that I love her so much. TFTC Darzee Di

Great to turn another DNF into a smiley! I made an extensive search here last time with no success, but located the cache relatively quickly this time. The area shows many signs of the recent floods, most noticably on the pedestrian bridge South of the cache.

Off for a couple of days caching with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Stayed the night in Cootamundra. Completed a few AdLabs and some odd caches on the way home.
Nice bit of history about the bridge. We had gone past the old hospital the day before but had not linked the two until we read the description.
A nice hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19647. Day 3 of a short trip into NSW with Robmc and the geo doggies. Awoke to a very wet and soggy caravan park here in Cootamundra and had thoughts of heading straight home. However, the rains eased so we thought we would do a few caches before leaving town. It was interesting to see water rushing across the roads in the floodways - not used to seeing that.
We had seen the beautiful old hospital building on one of our traverses through town. I wondered if our beautiful old hospital facade in Beechworth might have once looked as this building does. Such beautiful architecture.
Muttama Creek was flowing high and fast this morning so I can imagine a bridge for the nurses would have been very welcome.
A sneaky little hide here near the remains.

A nice little story about the Nurse’s bridge. Another bitterly cold day, so rugged up in our beanies and hoodies every time we get out of the GeoCruiser. SL a at 11.24am #8820 TFTC OtterCreek29 & Darzee Di
Found after a short search.
It was time to move on from Wagga, so we said goodbye to good friends and set off on our way to Cootamundra via Bethungra. Its still bitterly cold, but thankfully today there were only a few showers and we managed to dodge most of them.
It was mainly traditionals today although we managed an interesting Virtual and a couple of multis.
All in all a casual day traveling with plenty of stops..
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Darzee Di.

Completion of landscaping done so Cache has now been replaced and ready to be found,
The council are doing maintenance around gz and cache no longer there. Have disabled and will replace when work is completed as it is such a lovely spot to sit and wonder
Bathurst to Wagga on our way to the Mega at Wangaratta.
We had an overnight spot at Cootamundarra at the showgrounds. We have met up with the Snakepiters to continue our journey onto the Mega with.
We followed a caching trail around town which was a good way to explore this area. Certainlt a lot of history on Donald Bradman & Australian Cricket here.
Thankyou Darzee Di for placing this cache.

My aunt was a nurse and looked like the nurses in the photo with the veil and cape. My daughter is a nurse and her work clothes are much more practical. Great spot for a cache.
With my free hour meandering multis around town coming to a close, i made a short zig zag to this cache first before salvaging my bag from the train station.
A nice quick find here, surprisingly.
Seeing as i never managed to find the super hard nano on machinery cache here in town before it was archived, this is probably next in line in town.
Thanks ladies for a great little walk behind a great creepy old looking abandoned hospital.

Out exploring in the regions with my wife on a few days break. We spent a few days around Coota and made this find. Signed as OK + Mrs OK, TFTC.
Passing through on the way to a birthday at coolamon. Nice hide. Soon spotted as we took a break
Yass to Cootamundra today, with about all the detours one can imagine. Again a great day of caching with a mix of traditionals and multi's. This one was a quick stop and grab.

No luck for me today. Did enjoy the walk to the location. Was just too hot for me to continue the search today
A day trip to Cootamundra, to pick up some local caches.
The weather was quiet warm, so left a couple of high terrain ones for another day.
All caches found, were in good condition. Thanks to all the CO's - we had a good day out.
Enjoyed the artwork along this lovely walk. Good to see such a lovely area in suburbia.
A favourite point given for showing this to us.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Darzee Di, for us and others to find.

I searched and searched. Couldn’t find it. Even with the help of photos in the activity.
We were just about to give up when I payed down. Oh that was good.giving a favourite. Now to get the log out even hard with twizzers.
With Bedlem2. Tried to extract the log but it will not come out. Giving it a favourite as it was well camouflaged.
On our way home. We decided to stop in for a cache and some dinner. Took some hunting. Had to pause and pat a puppy as a friendly muggle strolled by. Lovely to sit here by the bird calls on a cool spring night and look at the funky trees. Tftc

Dashed down to Wagga with Gliss! for a crazy mix of trainings and caching! Always a fun adventure!! Thanks everyone for planting and maintaining the caches.

Walked to this one past the big birds!!!
Couldn't do as the clue suggested or I would have got a wet ar*e!!!!
The cache was quickly located and we haven't seen one of these for a while although they used to be quite popular a few years ago.
The log sheet was extremely hard to retrieve and even harder to return. We ended up having to completely unroll it and re-roll it super tightly.
Thanks.

Very peaceful green spot, with clever ornaments around. Log nearly full but in good nick. Great to see the old hospital but as a nurse I would not have liked having to cross over from the nurses home at night.

Staying in Cootamundra as we head over to SA. Found the cache and the lovely walk beside the creek with its bird and animal art. Thanks for the cache would not have discovered this walk.
I found this with my daughter in the first place I looked. It's a shame in a way the bridge is gone, but I guess it's no longer needed. Nice spot though.
