Team Omam from the Netherlands has only one aunt left. And as she will have her 100th birthday early February, we decided to join the birthday party. But …., she lives in Sydney Australia! An excellent opportunity for us to explore this continent once again and find Geocaches along the way. We will do a 3.5 weeks trip! At places where we will stay for a few days (Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Darwin), we will organize Meet and Greet events. We will try to find mainly caches with high favorite points, caches from 2000 and 2001, earth caches, webcam caches, virtuals and letter box hybrids.
My friend whom is not a geocacher is taking this TB to London, England where she will drop it over there.

Fortunately, I have found a similar cache before. An easy one if you know what to look for
OMG I have never seen a cache like this before would never have found it with help. #105. Thanks fellow cacher. TFTC
I spotted the hide well before arriving to GZ. Some days, you just have the eye for it. Easy find. TFTC.
A quick and easy find as I have become quite familiar with this type of camo. Cache is good condition but the log a little damp from the recent rain. Tftc
After I finished up my work meetings not too far from here, I came back to this area to try and find some of the caches here. Nice hide. Luckily I've encountered a few of these - seem to be more common in AU than in NZ - so was able to spot it quickly. Log a bit damp but still usable. TFTC, Biggles.
After finding “This area changed alot....” I had time for one more find before heading out west to pick up YGAT. When I saw where GZ was I was a bit wary but I then spotted the cache and realised I would not have to hang around for too long.
Nicely done, thanks contactpete.

Found with Jase90 during a day out in Western Sydney in an effort to help me get closer to reaching my milestone goal of 2,000 finds at the last ever Geocaching Block Party in Seattle this August. We started over at Prospect with Madness Gateway and Sydney's Newest- Relocated. Then onto Pemulwuy for William Lawson and Veteran Hall, and then across to Blacktown for Pope's Garden, Train Spotter - Roma and URBAN SV (where we had a long chat with the Cache Owner, nice to meet you!). Back in Prospect we then found Quick park & Grab, for the streakers., For Marissa & Mel's streak, Home Sweet Home, Time to Commuicate. (is it meant to be Communicate?) and Prospect Park First Cache. Heading over to Seven Hills, Jase90 and I continued on to tackle Nice little park & grab and Snowy Reserve Cache. In Girraween we found the Former Railway Corridor Toongabbie, then in Pendle Hill we grabbed Knox's Box and our final stop out west was in Old Toongabbie where we picked up Spot the Geoduck.
On the way back home, we decided we could fit in a few more and we stopped by North Rocks and found 4,3,2,1 and Measure Up. We then finished off the day in Ryde and Eastwood with Up The Garden Path and Beanstalk respectively.
All in all, a fun day out with Jase90 and we picked up some beauties along the way. For all of the caches, I Signed Log and Took Nothing Left Nothing. A successful day out in terms of find rate! Thanks For The Caches to all of the respective Cache Owners.

Found at 11:19am with JordsAU.
JordsAU and myself were out on a day of caching trying to boost our numbers in the area's of Prospect, Blacktown and a couple of other surrounding suburbs. We started as early as possible this morning so we could obtain a decent amount of smileys. We were also heading to the footy in Moore Park later on in the afternoon which meant that we needed to be finished and to head back by 1:30pm.
I have not done any caches out this way in my 3-year Geocaching career but JordsAU had acquired a small handful over the years which meant that we needed to stick to caches unfound to the both of us. It didn't seem to prove too difficult as there were plenty around.
The weather today was stunning, barely cold in the early morning and it even became quite hot in the late morning.
'Time to Commuicate' was the 10th of 19 caches we ticked off today. We rolled up to GZ and wondered of where this one could be as the coordinates pointed us slightly away from true GZ. After a brief look around, we appeared to have CIH - but then... no, we had a decoy. It certainly looked, felt, smelt, tasted like a cache but we knew something wasn't right given there was no log. We returned to the spot we found this one and soon had the REAL cache in hand.
A well-camo'd cache, signed log, thanks for the cache contactpete

#1710 (3 of 4 today)
Decided to head out west today for a few quick finds. Went after 4 of my 6 unfound caches near the Prospect & Great Western Highway junction.
Got them all. HUZZAH!
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Walked up the road from Home Sweet Home to grab this one.
Spotted something suss on approach (delayed slightly by the two muggles following me), but as a few others have noted, I went the wrong way initially.
Cache in hand I wandered into a nearby and familiar park to coplete signing duties and then the wander back for the replace.
I must say I was paranoid of the neighbours. Glad I was quick in and out here.
Not sure how long the log will remain weatherproof, but it seems to have survived the recent wet OK.

Just this one for the day as I was on my way home, I swung by for this one.
Not too many options here, but slick hide here contactpete.
Thanks for yet another hide.

Easy find but very funny. Looked also at the wrong side first so Rite picked the right side.

It had to be one or the other. I picked the correct one. Quick easy find with P&Q and Master Q.
Had to redeem myself after 2 DNFs on Contactpete's caches today. Nice quick find. Hope you know the owner.................... Log is a bit damp (not surprising after all this rain!) TFTC

#207 found the cache early Sunday morning while no one was around in the area, what a great hide. Thought I had an idea where it was but I was wrong. Eventually found the log. From all the rain that has been around the log was a bit damp at the bottom. If I had favourite points I would give this one. Replaced as found
I looked in the wrong spot, found nothing, then saw what was, to me, an obvious hide. I strode over manfully (that's the way that manly men stride) to retrieve the cache. But what I had in my hand was not the cache.
I replaced the non-cache and less manfully retrieved the cache from the other side.
Thanks

#2966- e.t. Phoned home. Not that one, but that one. Not sure how long this will last if the people in the house behind it come to investigate. A quick find for us today though. Thanks.
I walked down from the cache on the corner to this one for a clever hide with spot on coordinates.

As I approached GZ snoopy was already snooping around. She was a bit stumped and I pointed to what I thought was the camo and said "do you think it could be that?" As we removed the camo we were a bit perplexed as there was no log, hmm, looked on the other side and there was some more camo, ahh, bingo we found the log. SL #1930 on streak day #1015 TFTC
This was the quickest and easiest find for the day, but still an interesting one. TFTC.
Streak Day #644 - Yep got busted by spy79 and then thought i would have a peek whilst waiting for ris768, she made the find as i was blind lol, TFTC
I communicated with the item at GZ and had cache on hand quickly just as the lady drove into her drive way. I wonder if she knows about this cache? TFTCM

12/4/15. 8:41 AM. Cache #2412. Streak day #294. 3rd of 5 caches this morning. I actually came here about an hour earlier, passed the pit as instructed and thoroughly inspected the tree. I also looked at 3 of 4 sides of a particular object and found nothing. I emailed a friend and then headed over to Eastern Creek to find "Southridge street" & "Roberts street".
When the help came back I thought - well I thoroughly looked at that item, so it must have been muggled. But I thought I'd come back over for another look just in case. Sure enough, I look on the right face and there's the cache. As the helper said, it was definitely a forehead slapping moment. Can't believe I missed that! Signed as 3TF and then headed over to "Gleeson Trees Reserve Cache" for a second stab at that one. TFTC }:)

Martin Cousins must have beaten me by 10 minutes. This one just needs you to take a walk around GZ, observe and you will see the hide. TFTC.
FTF @ 6am, 8/4. Have kept an eye on this hide as its on my work commute, with a detour, that is. Noticed it was activated last night before bed and with a quick check this mourning, still unfound.
Arrived and no muggles about, so checked hint while sitting in the car, oh, there is no hint.
Walked past that Telstra pit that's mentioned in the description and noticed something cache like, ah, CIH. Thanks contactpete
