I've lost count how many times I've got to the parking coords only to find a high tide!
Moving forward to today, the tide was high but on its way out...
Went for a lovely walk on that supersoft sand, and had to do a bit of rock hopping also...
At GZ I found the regular cache in the first place I looked the first time too. The hint makes it easy... lol
The last finder is not on the logsheet.
Glad to finally get my name on this one..
The walk back was a tad easier as I was able to dodge the rock hopping in two places...
Thanks for bringing me here, it's a great spot!

So disappointed in this DNF considering the time and effort I put into it. Walked along the beach which was quite pleasant except for sinking into the sand with every step. Got to GZ and searched and searched and searched. Up to the base of the cliffs and even a bit higher. 20 metres either side of GZ. Lifted so many rocks. Sat down and pondered where I would be if I was a geocache. Went to leave, but thought ‘just a bit longer’. Did that about 3 times but all in vain. Eventually admitted defeat and walked back to car with head down and tail between legs. To cheer myself up, had a chokkie bar in the car. If I get fat, it’s all this caches fault.
With favourable tides and dry weather we headed to a couple of caches requiring beach access at low tide.
Another amazing spot geocaching has taken us
After a brief search Mr sylken came up with the goods…a very nice cache and all dry and clean
Many thanks for the hide M's Piggy (Babe)….and here’s another favourite point

Found by Olga during a stay at Coobowie. The weather shifted between cool and rainy to warm and sunny and back again.
I have been meaning to come to this cache for so long, but always too short of time to stop. We have been nearby crabbing, but must have been before the cache was placed.
I remember seeing this film when I was young, and have been to the filming location on Lanzarote. I even have photos of the rock which the Pteranodon left Raquel on (see attached photo)

Sorry for the late log. On a holiday to the Yorke Peninsula with gridge98, such a lovely place - must come back. TFTC
Cool location here, after making our way along the coast line from the mine we arrived at this cache after a nice walk along the beach, the search start with the 2 of us and with the hint still took some time till finally the right rock was moved and the cache was found nicely hidden
A big trip away to the yorke peninsula planned for the weekend travelling around touristing and have a look at sights I’ve seen before, plus camping over the 4 days wherever we needed up at the end of the day. Plus why not find 116 caches along the way for the trip. Despite the wind on the first evening the rest of the trip we were delighted by the beautiful weather.
Thanks for the cache

Nice day for a walk! Not too hot, not too cold and low tide! Mr Felix headed off to tackle a few caches that we have previously been unable to tackle.

This weekend, I headed to the Yorke Peninsula. The goal was to visit Innes National Park for the Saturday to find a few of the oldie geocaches, but also to enjoy a different vicinity for geocaching. I used Edithburgh to base myself for the weekend's activities. On the drive to/from Edithburgh, I visited Ardrossan, Port Vincent, Wool Bay, and Coobowie, and also visited as far south as Sultana Point and Troubridge Point.
Today, I took the long route home back to Adelaide from Edithburgh, but did multiple detours along the way. I initially headed south to Sultana Point, followed by Troubridge Point; Two areas that I hadn't visited in all of my historical Coobowie Yorke Peninsula trips. I then drove north following the coastal route, stopping off in Coobowie, Wool Bay, and Port Vincent. A highlight was visiting the white clay mine just north of Stansbury, and it was a nice walk along the beach to get to.
During low tide, I was able to safely walk along this beach, primarily to visit the white clay mine, but I also called into this spot along the way. I was apprehensive about the previous visits and trouble to find this one, but in the end, I must have had some good luck with me, as I managed to find this geocache within a few minutes. A very creative cache and cool location, so a Favourite Point from me! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks M's Piggy (Babe) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was also nice to have found this cache with 698 days [22.9 months / 1.91 years] of unfound love since its last find on 19/02/2019.

We have enjoyed our walk along the beach to this cache, what a lovely spot to bring your dog for a walk. We had seen that the last log was a DNF and we wished very hard that we would find the cache. At first we did not think that we would be logging a find but hubby went back over the areas we had already checked and found the well placed door to the hide. Twenty two months of unloved coming our way. The cache is in good condition. SL TFTC
Out and about but failed to unearth this one. We had a detailed look in the area but no luck today.
#2506 Having just visited the nearby EC, we thought why not wander a little further down the coast to this one. Glad we did as on discovering the cache container we had a little giggle. Love your work M's Piggy (Babe), great story too . Left a FP and collected some unloved. Time to get back to camp, we are exhausted after a long day around Port Vincent! TFTC!
Thanks for a great cache!!! Beautiful place actually found this on 27th Feb but forgot to log as got ourselves happily wandering along the beach after.
I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend on the Yorke Peninsula [^]. This cache was found on the return trip home with geobuddies after attending the "Footloose on the Foot" dinner event in Warooka the previous night.
Ohhhh I am so grateful to my geobuddies here, they made the find and logged us all in the book after I'd taken a tumble on the rocks. Actually it worked out not only did I get fabulous bruising down one side of my body, but I also fractured a finger...aarrrggghhhh the things you do to get a smiley!!
This area is beautiful and such a fab place to find caches! Make sure you also do the Spencer Tracy "Old Man Of The Sea" cache, it is a lovely walk that's really close by.

Now that was some walk from the parking coords. The tide was like 50% in so the first 600m was a rock hop. The next 1000m was mainly beach with a mix of deep seaweed and red mud washed down from the cliffs from last night's downpour. Luckily no ankles were twisted. I needed the walk after the previous night's indulgence of a pub main, lots of beers, red, chips and chocolate Baileys. The prize was a trendy Barbie so it was all good. A wander back completed the daily step count of 10,000. Another bonus! [^]
Found on the Footloose Event Weekend Thanks to M's Piggy (Babe) and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

After a successful "Footloose' event at Warooka, it was time to make the journey back to Adeleide.
This was another of the fun stops along the way and a challenging walk in the humidity!
We made the search at GZ much harder than it shouldhave been but eventually the the star revealed herself to us [^]
A great spot for a cache.
Cheers & TFTExercise M's Piggy (Babe)

Found It!
Another nice walk and again I ran into Freddo who found the cache for me after I decided to look in the 4+ star terrain spot. The only disappointing thing was that this was another bloody PM only cache!
TFTC anyway

As we approached the Legend bobbed up again. Down there we said. And down there it was. Barbie in a fur bikini. What's not to like.

Found during a visit to Wool Bay for the first week of the school holidays, enjoying the walk along the secluded beach for a tricky and rewarding hide. Thanks for the cache M's Piggy (Babe)!
Whoooo Hooo!!!!!!!!!!!! First to Find at 9.00am. Over on the YP for a fishing weekend and my muggle mate was happy for us to walk to this one (2.6km round trip) and the Earthcache on the way!! Very enjoyable wander along the beach at low tide .... id hate to be trapped as the tide came in and have to walk over the rocky sections instead of the sand. Found Rachel's prehistoric cave .... then the cache ..... then Rachel herself!!! Certainly worth a favourite point!! This cache ticked all the boxes for an excellent hide for me!! Thanks M's Piggy(Babe) for the hide!!!
