Over in Perth on work. Managed to get out this afternoon for a spot of caching. Busy trip from the CBD down the freeway but finally got here parked and located the cacheLog signed and smilie achieved.Off on the next adventureA big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache.Cheers
Find 16 of 35 on a warm 25km bike ride down from Cockburn, through the sandy tracks of Banjup to Aubin Grove then back up the freeway bike path. What a busy tree. Not a busy cache these days, it seems. After riding away and onto the rural roads it turned out the grassland is also busy, with Rumex hypogaeus / double-gee - mountain bike tyres were like pin cushions and we had to stop to clean up.TFTC Granett!
I have driven pass this busy tree many times over the years. Finally had the time to sign my name on this log. Cache in good condition. TFTC
All good here on a dry warm afternoon..again thongs not the best choice but a quick find and the cache and log in excellent condition tftc
After a lovely coffee and cake catch-up with BigMickAxeTurdler at Banjup Local we stopped by this one!
My oh my such a busy tree holding the weight of the world it seems…!
Cheers Granett!

The Turdler and I met Meme28 this morning for a wee catch up at Banjup Local (highly recommend if you have little ones or enjoy the lovely aroma of goats - the coffee and cakes are worth it) and then wandered over to this cache for a quick find.
Personally, I’ve had several attempts to find this one but the Turdler has been far from accommodating each time (refusing to get out of the car, refusing to walk the short distance from car to tree, falling asleep before parking up, you get the idea) until today! YAY!!
Joint find with Meme28

Found out in the open. Have replaced the log and tucked in a bit better. Cool hide and cool spot TFTC
Grabbing some caches while we were in the area we set our sights on this one. We parked around the corner and made the short walk to the busy tree. Once there we started our search and after a few minutes it was spotted laying on the ground. So we added our names to the log and placed the cache where we think it may have come from. It’s always good to do a welfare check on one that hasn’t been found for awhile and the cache itself is good but it may pay to check if it’s in it proper spot. This was an interesting spot. TFTC Granett.
Late afternoon caching with axell33, we parked around to corner after driving by to sus out the parking. After searching axell33 found it on the ground. We returned it where it might have been. It is a busy tree! And a busy corner! TYFTC
collecting a few smilies in the area, so very happy to turn the frown upside down. tftc Granett
Out grabbing some caches - couldn’t resist pulling over for this. What a random tree this is. Thanks for placing it and adding a smiley to my day
Found after dark.
I came, I saw, I signed the log. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

At last a nice easy horse attribute which doesn't involve a Paperbark. Thankyou!
Parked in the nearby side street and wandered up to make a quick find. Log was very fragile and ripped I unrolled it. Sorry. TFTC
After a DNF with this cache a while back it's nice to be able to say we found it this time.
The road is still busy but there is a good place to bump up the curb right near the tree so it's almost a drive by.
Thais for the cache.

Came out for a drive to Treeby on this wet & windy Sunday - aim was to pick up the BMP series and a few others on the way This cache was on the hit list. Recent roadworks have not impeded the tree or cache at all; in fact I was able to pull the car off the road right by GZ A quick scan of the host was unsuccessful, then mindful of the comments from the last finder I looked down rather than up - and there it was on the floor Have replaced back at head height in the likely spot - hopefully it stays there! No problems here for me today, an easy cache & dash - TFTC
Thanks for the maintenance visit Granett. Hopefully this wee baby remains in situ through wind and rain. Every time we've passed this way, we look down the road and think: "is it there?". Now we will be able to just drive past blissfully being the holder of a "Yellow Dot". Thanks Granett.
Wow; what a tree and well used indeed. Unfortunately for us we came up with nothing but a Blue Dot this afternoon. Thanks anyway Granett.
In the area finding a few caches before the Treeby event, this was another stop along the way... Another quick find for Jase here on a very busy tree

Out for a morning run and after collecting 2 of the Emma Treeby Reserve caches I had time for another one so off I set.
I ended up following the old railway embankment instead of running on the road but there turned out to be an abundance of spider webs spun across the track. Well maybe not that many but enough to keep me on the lookout for spiders crawling on me.
Once at GZ it didn't take too long to locate.

Coming home from A short trip at Burekup and we decided to drop in and find this cool cache.
Grannet, we found your geocache "Busy Tree" around 5:00pm on the 12th of April 2017. When we found your cache the tree sure was busy! And we replaced the cache as found.
That brings us to 144 finds now!
TFTC!
Cheers,

What an interesting tree. Have not seen one quite so busy before and worthy of a cache. TFTC Granett.
Our first find for 2017! And what an excellent spot for a cache too. Thanks Granett you made this an excellent start to the year. Happy New Year to you
Found on my way out after finding a few nearby caches (and one archived one). Used to live south of here as a child and I remember this tree! Thanks for the memories.
Decided to take a different way to home this morning & discover a few hides on the way. This was one of them. Busy tree & busy bison. Tftc
I needed to make a find today to clear another day on the calendar, so popped out in the dark and grabbed this one. Nice quick grab.
TFTC Granett.
Granett, I found your cache Busy Tree on 27/10/16.

Had a friend killed many years ago very close to this site. Was good to honour the memory and find the cache. Thanks
Very appropriate name, I wondered what it would be. Cache in good condition & easily found. TFTC
In the area so stopped off on the way home to find this. Great tree and easy find, though we did get some strange looks from passing motorists. TFTC Granett
So, megawat60 and I were driving home in Max the GeoUte, and I asked him to make a quick detour for this cache. When geodaughter lived up the road, I would drive past this busy tree several times a week, as a matter of fact her horses' Bowen therapist once hung his shingle on it.
So today was the day, with megawat60 to offer suppport and possible first aid in case I met with a previously mentioned inhabitant. But no sign of Joe Blake today, cache found, log signed, and happy to have a smiley here at last! TFTC Granett!

After a very successful test run with the new Geo-Ute Max, m4yb asked me to turn in to this road as Granett had placed a cache here. I had always thought she had found it and said I was a bit concerned as I had taken my shoes off already. She said that she was happy to have a look but I could sense her concern when she told me about the possible inhabitant! However she did get out and after she had gingerly walked around a few times I thought I should maybe join her. Just as I got put of Max she had made the find, don't think I have seen signing duties completed so fast.
Thanks for this hide on a very busy tree, serving many for there trades, Granett.

Out this way and without gps thought it would still be retrievable using the photo. Correct. Fabulous tree but so glad I hadn't read the log regarding the tiger snake. Blithely ignorant of any unwelcome tree residents so was able to retrieve cache without bother. All is good with cache. Thanx Granett.
WARNING!! Large tiger snake seen disappearing upwards inside hole in front of tree.
Almost left without claiming my smiley on this one, not knowing when or where the snake would emerge. I tentatively circled the tree from a distance, spotting a possible hiding spot, and dashed in to retrieve the cache from it's niche, retreated back a safe distance to sign the log, then did a second dash back to replace it. Was nice to be back in the car and safely away from the danger. Thanks for the smiley though Granett.

Returned once again in an attempt to collect my smiley here, as last time I had visited the cache and its branch seemed to have grown legs and walked. Quick easy find this time as it was actually there!
As we h3eaded to Perth for our Event tomorrow, decided to take a 'back door' approach and grab a few caches on the way. Made a quick find here. Thanks Granett
This one was quickly found and there was not too much traffic which made the search a bit easier
Granett - jinta29 found your cache Busy Tree on 31/07/2015 2:10 pm. This is my find #3477 and find #5 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

As it gets closer to the warm months, the mornings are getting "slightly" lighter meaning an opportunity to grab the odd cache before work.
Having a meeting nearby, I decide to grab this cache. This tree is busy in more ways than one. The traffic didn't stop
I angled myself using the tree as a barrier to the muggles and made my find.
Granett I found your cache Busy Tree on 30/07/2015. This is my find #3484. TFTC.

Dropped in today while heading West. Thanks to CO for replacing cache so quickly.
Thanks Granett for the cache.
Thanks Granett for the cache.
Stopped by to check on this one and it seems to be missing, in fact the branch that I hung it off is missing. I put another bison in an obvious spot.
Circled the tree a number of times without finding the cache. Checked with a previous finder so it may be missing.
Thanks Granett for the cache.
Thanks Granett for the cache.
Circled the Busy Tree before something caught my eye. Placed as found. TFTC Granett.
This was an extremely easy find because it was on the outside of the tree in full view, I'm not sure this is where it is meant to be but I've replaced it as found (but slightly tucked away). There is another finder who has not yet logged.
TomTom brought me here

Stopped to grab this one on the way home from Gosnells with Kristybelle. Its a very busy tree and a very busy road, not sure what all the people driving past must have thought with me hugging a tree. Cache was quickly found TFTC Granett
A nice and quick find here this afternoon as I was driving between puzzle caches. I nearly lost the cache on returning it as I didn't hook it over before letting go, and it almost disappeared into the tree, eek!!
Thanks for the cache Granett!
Thanks for the cache Granett!
On the way home after helping out my daughter further south and made a quick find here in the rain.
Thanks Granett for the cache.
Thanks Granett for the cache.
Passing on the way home and stopping for a find was too big a temptation. A easy find after a short search - I didn't have access to the hint (otherwise it would have been quicker). SL and replaced as found. Thanks to Granett for the cache.
Finally came and did this one. Pretended to read the signs whilst searching for the cache. A nice cache on a busy road. Another Granett cache. Fav for the great spot.TFTC
