Visiting home from Australia & needed a date for my calendar so what better way to celebrate Christmas than to pick up the cache on what was my church when I was a youngster, I had many happy years at the youth club, youth fellowship, brownies and guides here. TFTC

Tricky one to get from outside the church, especially when busy with cars stopped beside you. Got it eventually signed and put back. Tftc

A weekend of excess... pick up yer_man after work 3pm Friday, up to Newtownards (via Banbridge, Lisburn and Sprucefield) for the GIFF event, back to hotel in Lisburn, a few caches in Befast followed by Swedish Breakfast at Ikea... a few more caches, then the North Down Coastal Path CITO, and a LOAD more caches, before the trip home to Dublin. Busy, busy two days. A lot of the logs were signed by myself, yer_man, theswerve, Moonshiner and Halywid Hunters as The Ikea Team Session, On Ultimate Tour.

I remember this one going live for some reason. And again it was Moonshiner doing his civic duty by finding the cache. A quick water & money break here before hopping back in the van. It was still raining and the traffic was dismal but our driver knew that the bus lanes were open so we flew past anything.

A great laugh was had when getting back in the van.... Halywid Hunters parked next to a simply massive puddle which he couldn't see from his vantage point in the drivers seat. We all got in the other side but Moonshiner (front seat passenger) faced the prospect of having to wade through this lake of rainwater with a very leaky boot. There was a lot of pleading (and necessary ribbing/cajoling) about the whole thing but after a few minutes the van was (reluctantly) moved forward a bit so he didn't have to go swimming.
