Logs
Down from Townsville to attend a rock climbing course this weekend which may be put to use for some T5’s in the future.
Today’s mission was to finish off a couple of challenging caches and fill the last remaining space of my DT grid.
I needed to find a cache with a CO beginning with U so had a look for this one but after reading the previous logs and spending a few minutes fanning out from GZ I could no locate. Might need a check.

Not sure if this is the correct GC or not because according to previous pics we were looking for something else. But found a zip lock bag with a. OTE in it instead and was on the opposite side of path to where it was saying etc. could GCO please have a look and check.
Not sure it was the right one. But found a GC on the opposite side of the path.
I needed a cache from a CO whose name started with a U to complete a challenge. I tried the one in front of the COs house, but did not spot immediately and felt a bit dodgy... So onto the next option! This was a quick find. TFTC!
Found zip lock bag just randomly lying on ground. Replaced it where I guessed it should go. Tftc.
Lovely place by the lake, but cache container seems to have gone missing. Signed log and placed it in a zip-lock bag. TFTC Urdera
Today, I met up with Mrs RoddyC to clear a few green boxes in the area. Following the hint, we quickly located this one....but all we found was a log, no container. Unfortunately, neither of us had a spare, so we were unable to replace the missing container. We returned the write in the rain paper to where it was found and continued on our way. TFTC
Mr RoddyC had a job to do in Morayfield today, so what better excuse could one find to go geocaching with Selva Girls in the area.
No container - just a "Write in the Rain" paper Strange. Maybe it needs the CO to check it out
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 1.10pm on 17th May 2017. TFTC. Urdera

As much as we searched using the clue, and the recent logs, we could not find the rock or the cache. We tried not to dig too much, but did not locate this one as we were also pressed for time.
Found a couple of people here acting suspicious so met some fellow cachers. Love the lake.
Found it after a brief search. Pen didn't want to write (LB a bit damp) so photo attached!

Found by geohubbie while we are are school holidays visiting Brisbane. Our kids like to play bunny rabbit gun
Visiting from NSW to see family and took the opportunity of sleeping geokids in the car to grab some caches.
Wasn't sure about this one with recent DNFs but the hide was soon spotted (we have one the same back home )
Thanks for placing this cache! We will be back to complete the other two another day as we simply ran out of time today

We had 20 minutes here to ourselves and kicked every rock in sight but did not come up with the goods. Great spot though
Found by my 8 year old geobuddy while babysitting him. His 2nd cache ever.
He loved it!
He loved it!
Tftc a nice walk with the mozzies!!! Log container very wet but able to write on water resistant strip.
Approaching final destination I passed a house where the were people sitting and talking on the outside deck. Thankfully gz was just out of their sight. Found cache guarded by hundreds of swarming soldiers just waiting to get a piece of me. I brushed them off my hand and quickly signed and replaced cache as found. TFTC Urdera.
Arrived early, almost catching the surrounding muggles in slumber land. One mutt did not like me walking round in the park but quickly quietened down. After taking the wrong way round the pond, approached GZ and spied something not quite right. Found it contained the log. This could have taken some time to find with the GPS bounce. TFTC Urdera.

Tuesday. Kerry from Slow Puncture was out and about today in the local neighbourhood.
It was a good day for ducks and stopped to take a photo of some of them walking around the park here, as well as a couple of water dragons. It was hard to tell which was enjoying the rain more, the lizards or the various birdlife. A nice quick find for us today. Log book signed and replaced.
This was the 2nd of 3 caches found on today's leg of the trip.
Thanks [Blue]Urdera[/Blue], for showing us this place.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 11:14am. We parked and made the short walk in to GZ. We found the cache within a minute or two which was a complete fluke as this one could be quite difficult. TFTC
After making it past the very welcoming local muggle dogs, I found myself at GZ. It only took a small hunt to find the beasty. Log signed, cache replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Urdera

Out for a quick cache run with GeographyMan while down visiting the Grandies. Trying to get six for the 500 milestone. Yayyyyy #500! Nice sneaky hide. Enjoyed doing this series.

Out for a day of fun caching with teamdfl and IolantheK where we found ourselves travelling to various locations searching for caches that none of us had yet found. With my GPS in for repair, attempting to use a smart phone for the first time was really proving to be quite amusing!
We soon found ourselves at ground zero and the cache was quickly spied. With our names added to the log book, we made our way back to the car to head off to the next location.
Thank you Urdera for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy.

It's Wacky Wednesday and time for a play date with teamdfl and Ms Just a Trifle And seeing as we all live in different areas of Brisbane, and there's rather a lot of finds between us, we had to come to this side of town to get a reasonable collection together
Pleased to see this one has been replaced since I was last here. I got to make this find. TFTC, Urdera.

Out and about on a play date with IolantheK and Mrs Just a Trifle today. We had chosen a suitable cache to meet up at and now we were off on a crazy adventure to find caches that all three of us had not found.
IolantheK had a DNF here recently, so she was glad to see this one replaced. A short walk to GZ and a bit of a hunt. Then hint was helpful, but still left a few options to check. It did not take long at all with three of us looking.

Today was just the sort of day for a sight seeing tour around some of the roads and parks in the local area, and with Layla and Urdera as our guide the exercise was well worth it.
After a short search we confirmed that this cache was indeed missing. Tammi Urdera whipped a new container out and we signed the log before replacing it where it should be.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

Out with Zardecoh for a few hours today A pleasant walk down to GZ and we greeted a few ducks along the way. GPS had us on one side of the path so we searched all over there, then spread the search area quite a long way, but didn't get the smilie. After we met up with the CO and got a great hint, we went back and scoured that area, but still no find
Out for another lovely morning of caching with IolantheK. We searched thoroughly here to no avail. Oh well, off we went feeling defeated. Happened upon the CO at another cache who gave us a hint. Headed back armed with the new information but alas it was not to be for us today.
Smilie #2506
Another incursion north to invade numerous caches & convert them to smilies on our map!
A little stealth was needed as there were workmen nearby but once along the path it was no longer a problem.
Great hint led us to the find.
Definitely a nice little spot by the water.
Well looked after.
Left our mark & replaced as found

Once we parked the car we were a little uncertain if this was someone's very large back yard? But we followed the GPS and headed off towards GZ. Once there we took a while to find the cache but eventually Marco spotted the hide. TNLNSL TFTC
The geo-hubby was never any good at this game [8)] Found by geo-wife Log a little damp, added some crystals. SL, TFTC
Camped at Caboolture for a few weeks, and headed out to enjoy the beautiful weather.
There was a good of variety of hides, some a little tricky.
This cache was found after a short search, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Urdera, for us and others to find.

We are visiting with Urdera and on a beautiful autumn day caching in the area was a real delight. Found this one after a short search. Close of home, nice one Thanks to Urdera.
Starting my afternoon off in the logical place, #1. No real trouble locating the container, unlike the others. Everything's a bit wet but not overly so. TFTC
A Happy Mothers Day to all.
Today is our last day at Caboolture, after the morning at the markets we headed out to find the caches closer to town. We found all but one that we had placed on out to find list.
Thanks for placing this cache Urdera

I am awaiting new waterproof log books to arrive in the mail - the logbook in this cache will be replaced as soon as they arrive. Thanks for your patience.
Found the little container in place and the log a bit damp but still writable. Sorry, would have replaced for you if we'd had supplies on board. Log was signed by both ourselves and Miss 11 who now has her own caching name. Tftc Urdera what a lovely little area.
Nice walk around the pond to find an easy hide. The most enjoyable of the series for me, no barking dogs or prying eyes. Thanks, lovely area you have here
