Log dry as a bone and spot on coordinates. Lying out in the open and returned to its position with just a little bit of cover. Wonderful spot to sit in the shade and enjoy the beautiful water.TFTC
New logsheet in cache.
I have placed it inside two ziplock bags.
PLEASE use both when replacing the logsheet

Found after quite a search my coordinates about 9mtrs out in the end. The log is very wet CO might need to check it and replace the log. Very quiet here today no muggles in sight. TFTC
Quick find with mnance101 and jemillalucy today. It was kind of out in the open. Tftc
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Jemillalucy and Lisylou). Was lying out in the open so tucked it behind an object on the ground. TFTC!
Had a decent look around but couldn't find this one. Will have to come back again.
Took a while but was eventually located. Great walking path. Log is a bit wet

2nd dnf for the day. We are both off our game. Let's have some lunch then try again.
Out with Mickezza and usually one of our geosense is working but not today. Looked all likely and unlikely spots but no luck
If not for the perseverance of smallwombat I would have given up again. Success 3rd time here when my son made the call for help. Thanks for the extra hints electroman. And tftc.
Dug around for way too long before resorting to a call to the CO, then walked right over to where i needed to be. Success! Tftc electro_man!
Today, IolantheK and myself, have planned a BIG day geocaching around the Sunshine Coast finding LOTS of them.
We had our first find around 6:30 am and our last find was about 6:00 pm with approximately 50 finds.
With both of us having cached around here before we sometimes had the case of this cache is for me and that cache is for you.
A quick detour for me alone as IolantheK has found this one already, which was a good thing as I missed it.
A bit of searching before spotting the cache tucked away.
Thanks for the cache.

Looked around but gps was all over the place so had no idea if I was even looking in the right garden. I'm be back.
Time for a Wacky Wednesday with teamdfl [^]
Lots and lots of scrabbling in the leaf litter was done here, and we were just about to give up when I finally laid hand to the container. TFTC, electro_man.

IolantheK has joined me today for Whacky Wednesday.
Another one that took some finding. We are having another bad today. Lots of DNFs, but still having fun anyway.
We thought this was going to be another fail, but IolantheK managed to locate it.

Had a really good look around. Thought I was in the right spot but nothing there. I may have just missed it or possibly taken?
Had a look around gz for awhile, until i realised i was getting shifty looks from the opposite business so i hightailed it.
While the girls were at the ballet shop for 10 minutes (sic!) the mutt and I headed out for a walk. Oh look a cache not far away that has lots of dnfs and CO confirmations - should be a quick one! So after a dog relief stop we swung around here. I gave the phone a few minutes to find the GZ and then had a quick scratch around. Muzza was convinced that he'd found the cache but I let him chew over that thought while I picked the real thing from its hiding place. Well done e_m, and thanks for placing one here for the ballet Dads!!
Had a quick jog back through the rain and still had time to write this log 40 minutes later! Ho hum … if you see me still waiting outside the dance shop give me a wave!

This was a dnf with 3 sets of eyes looking for half hour. Extra hints would be needed as muggles everywhere and shop owners store crab pots in garden therefore drawing more attention.
My big caching journey, Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast via everywhere is now on it's return journey; continuing down the coast via Byron Bay, Port Macquarie and Sydney and concentrating on my Well Travelled Cacher challenge qualification.
A side cache or two in the area here as I discovered that they report an elevation of -1 meters (good for my stat's) but I crashed and burned on this one today, hopefully I can find one of the other two possibilities.
Thanks for placing this cache electro_man

No muggles about today and a quick search near GZ and I soon came up with the cache. TFTC electro_man
Today's quick early morning run was done by mtill17 and I whilst out doing a little field testing, I shan't say anymore. After doing what we needed to, we thought that we would hit up a few local caches before mtill17 had to get to work (I was lucky enough to have the day off, sorry to rub it in Tilly).
So after dropping mtill17 off at home I thought I might cleanup a few cache whilst on the way home. This one has been on my list since publication as it is one of the few markers left to convert to a smiley in this area.
But, this was one of those caches that just for some reason (not odd for I) took much longer then it should have to find. The worst part was... IT WAS IN THE FIRST PLACE I LOOKED. Then I continued to look here, then there, then in here, then up there and still had nothing. Hmm... I reset the phone and tried again and it brought me back to near where I started the search. DARN, IT... How did I miss it!!!
Just as I had found the cache there was a publication! One popped up 'Nar, I'll give that one a miss', I thought... Then another 'Nar, not that one either'. Then just as I finished signing the log... There was one under a Km away *POOF* in a puff of smoke, I was gone. And yes, I did put the cache back, lol (I did almost leave with it in my hand).
Thanks for the well placed cache electro_man and finding it after replacement, was like a FTF!.

Well electro_man you done well to find a little spot along the water that doesn't have a cache so congratulations for that. Wasn't KODAK worthy here with the Eight is Enough night raid group but I am confident its a delightful spot in the day.
Thanks again electro_man
Thanks again electro_man
Next up our fearless crew came upon Happy Snaps. '8 is enough' - Dahumbug, XWF, Egg, Bones, Puumba, Benjamunji, Mr Showcase, muggle driver friend, and myself had a bit of a search in some not so awesome places (in the dark anyway) but the find was found soon enough.
One cannot go past an assembly point to assemble near a cache discussing Happy Snaps to take a Happy Snap.
Thanks for the cache electro_man.

What's that?? ..... Privatears put out a call on the local Sunshine Coast Geo group .... Does anyone want to join her for a night raid on some local caches? Ummmm YES! Before we knew it, we had a bunch .... EggZachary, Bones74, Privatears, Dahumbug, Mr Showcase, Puumba, Benjumanji, myself .... So Eight is enough we became!! We found a patch of caches and off we went! ...
Not far from our last cache was this one. I had a muggle mate along for the journey, he was starting to get into this geocaching thing and was soon on the scent to find it. Very pretty time of the night. Being late it was easy to get in to the GZ and get out undetected. Couldn't help but get a group happy snap here!!

Out for a night of night caching. What a laugh. I'm glad i wasn't the one who had to retrieve this one in the dark!!
Out for a bit of night caching....nice quick find. Thought we might have to stop for a quick breather and to get a happy snap of our own with "8 is Enough" aka me, Egg Zac, Privatears, XWF Dahumbug, Puumba, Benjumanji and Mr Showcase
Out for a cache run with GeographyMan and Geosister. This one took us longer than it should have. GeographyMan ended up with the goods. TFTC Electro_man
We had decided to try to complete the Difficulty / Terrain challenge and chose an area on the Sunshine Coast to target at least twenty-five different D/T combinations. We had no difficulty locating the cache and with our name in the log, we headed back to the car for the next cache. .
Thank you for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy electro_man

Finally I was traveling in the right direction on Nicklin Way to just turn off left to this one. Managed a park and walked across to the GZ.
No muggles around at this minute and the search around the GZ began, I searched for a while then when no cache was located I say and read previous logs, there I picked up a hint and on further searching the container was located.
Signed logsheet 1:00 pm and returned the cache to its location.
electro_man - TFTC.
1 x TB visit.

After being muggled out at the last 2 caches, we still had time for one more before having to get ready to go out.
As I really enjoy this area, this was our target.
Nice quick find. TFTC

Called in on the way home from the shops, very quiet here this afternoon so it was an easy find and return. Tftc electro man
Watched E start the Run Sunshine Coast 6km run near Kawana surf club, then ducked out to grab this one while waiting.
Took a little while as I was searching everywhere at the wrong level. I guessed the container correctly though. Very wet and dirty on the outside but log nice and dry inside. Very few muggles at this time.
Quick race back to see the finish of the run.

Ok well that took longer than it should have. GPS was useless despite the beautiful clear sky (& crisp breeze) .
Eventually managed to get some sense out of it and cranked the dusty geobrain up and it was found ! Yah.
Beautiful spot and very busy with foot and cycle traffic this afternoon but only one muggle gent interested in saying hello. TFTC electro_man .All is well here .

Found @ 1025 hrs
This one popped up on our radar last night and I knew the FTF hounds would be out sniffing around, so I left it for them.
I pulled up only a short stroll to GZ and the first place I looked, was a Kodak moment.....Bingo!!
I retrieved the cache and signed the log, before replacing the cache exactly as I found it.

Passing by on my way to pick up the geokids so I made a short detour to this one. After parking nearby it was a short walk to GZ and the cache was soon in hand at 1620hrs.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Second tonight by about a 1/2 hour, the bat were squawking above and me feet were treading on lots if squishy things, brief search for the cache, then back to the car to find a pen that worked, all returned safe, thanks electro man!
#1091 @ 9:12 PM Joint *FTF* with *SuzySquirrel* We had just got back to the Squirrels house after doing a break and enter when the phones started to go off. So we skidaddled to make a find. I must say, I heard some awesome sounds coming from a squirrel that David Attenbrough would have described as a squealing hyena. All because a bat..... several bats took flight towards the Squirrel. ~ TFTC electro_man
Joint *FTF* @ 9:12 pm with spinna76.
#1092 ~ Oh my gosh, too many bats, too many cockroaches, no shoes and wearing pyjamas. I'm sure spinna76 had a great time laughing at my terror, frozen in place on the pathway as the huge bats flew in my direction. Finally, as the bats were calming down spinna76 grabbed the cache, we quickly signed and hightailed it out of there. TFTC electro_man!
