It looks like this cache was generally mostly found previously, but now we've had 7 DNFs in a row (unless you count the busted up plastic container or old beer bottle). With reports of a fire and a landslide I think a maintenance flag is appropriate. It would be great if the CO (or a previous finder?) could do a cache check on this one. Cheers
Looked within 5 meter radius of photo and GPS coordinates. Found a plastic container that has detoriated with weather and all broken. But no cache log.
I climbed but unfortunately did not find. Had a good look, disappointed I couldn’t put my eyes or hands on it. Has been awhile since last find, so will keep my eye on how others go.
Nothing better than avenging a DNF unless it is avenging a DNF in my 30km radius. Today while I was sort of in the area, I decided to stop for another look my gps again had me higher up but using a recent photo the cache was found with my gps saying 12 metres away. Thanks for the jlcrwaite tnln replaced as found sl
Didn’t find as after some searching some weird animal grunted at us and we exited the area quickly!
Thought we'd score a semi easy cache whilst at the beach to be surprised when reaching GZ that we where going to have to go bushwak bair footed and in our swim wear. Found the cache quite out in the open so replaced and added some extra camo.

Found at the end of a packwalk from Putty beach to Little beach and return. After returning to Putty beach we rested alittle and then said instead of going for a swim we would go to Macmaster's and grab a burger. Once we got there I went to grab this cache. After wondering around at gz I turned around and spotted the cache. Lovely spot thanks for taking me there, thanks for the yummy burger and TFTC
Yeah! Team work! Came over for friend’s wedding, we had a nice walk around here. Then I suggested: there is a cache just over there... these super nice friends kindly went into the bush:) and I finally found it with my flat wedding shoes! Thanks for hiding this cache here! We had a lot of fun!
Lol why do I always take the T4 route?
Rather than walk along the whole foreshore past the table and come up through what turns out to be a very easy climb, I decided to turn up the spur behind the club and climbed right to the top! Oops! Totally not needed (worth it though, awesome view from above GZ).
Climbed right back down for a quick find. Amazed this went unfound so long. Thanks for a fun adventure. TNLN TFTC

Quick find amongst all the horrible weeds. Tftc freezing but still swimmers around.
Took a look at the hill and, with the heat and the flies, and not feeling enegetic today, we decided to maybe come back another time, in winter perhaps.
That was our first cache! And of course we decided to overthink things and go all the way into the bush hahaha. Thank you for planting it, off to the next one!
3.35pm of streak day #29
Found with geokid on the way home from school. Discovered it somewhat exposed in an unlikely place for a hide so it was a little disappointing for us today. Once signed we hid it just 2m SE of where we spotted it. You do not have to leave the geotrail to make the find. Now the iGPS says 6m instead of 8m. Hope that helps! TFTC. Now we're off to the nearby Barefoot Cafe as they make awesome iced chocolates

Found it. Bit higher than the phone was saying it would be. Was fun with the nephews.
I think I found this one as an absolute fluke. Me and NYFYNN went climbing up and had no idea where to look. We followed random paths on our instincts and as I fell I spotted it on complete accident to my surprise. Anyways decent tradeables in it. tftc
Lovely day at the beach found the cache and signed but forgot to log so thus my belated effort. TFTC
Wow! Location location location!!! Stopped off The Green Thong trackable & picked up 'A New Cacher'. This is very fitting, caching with toddler geograndie on this beautiful afternoon! TFTC! : )
Great cache! Loved this one. Beautiful views!! Grabbed 'little green thong' trackable from the cache, thanks squirrels0291, going to take this one on a big adventure!
I am house sitting in the area for a month.
So I am out to find all geocaches in the area.
Today I was out and about on the MTB for about a 20km ride.
This was the third stop.
Once at GZ I needed a bit of a search to find this one. A little higher than my GPSr recommended.
Thanks for the cache.

My first outside of a city find and I like it! What a spot. What a view. Thank you!
Climbed up this hill with flip flops on after enjoying the beach, not a great idea! Make sure you have some shoes on as it goes get rather steep. Tried looking for this with _shannat for about 10 minutes without success.
Gorgeous day to find a cache. Had me a little perplexed until I searched a little higher. Appreciated the spoiler photo.
Here for a weeks holiday at McMasters Beach. Geoson found it after a steep but doable climb. Thanks for the cache!
Found. Thanks

Quick find. Saw the famous leeches but none made it on to me. Thanx.

Took the long way round to get to this one! Didn'tfeel that thw cache was much of a climb for me! Felt that my caching experience wasn't quite complete for the day, so I climbed the nearby tree! TFTC!!!
I've been pondering this one ever since it was published, taking note of the various suggestions offered by previous finders. My GPSr was surprisingly well behaved at GZ and I found the coordinates were pretty much spot on, so I must have picked a good day with just the right constellation of satellites.
After yesterday's rain, the ground is practically alive with leeches, and fortunately I was able to locate the cache, sign the log and put it back before they could exsanguinate me. Being barefoot, I could feel them as they were trying to latch on and was able to flick them off before any became firmly attached.
Thanks for the hide and the workout climbing up.

Very well hidden. Out bushwalking with juniors best friend and mum. The friend found it. I don't know how she found it but she did and it was her first geocache find. Very step terrain. Very weedy and spikey. But well worth it. Stunning view. TFTC.
All there and dry
To save the bush you can stay on the rough trail as it can reached from there

I spent about half an hour looking for this one and in the process, I'm sure I killed or injured quite a few plants as I explored the upward heading trails. It didn't help that no matter where I was, my phone kept saying I was 8 - 10m away. In the end, I gave up before I did more damage to this fragile environment.
Thanks jlcrwaite for bringing me to a coffee shop I was unaware of but will revisit on a day it is open ... the view from here is great. As for returning to the cache, I don't know.

I looked for over 20 minutes and couldn't find it. there was heaps of surfers walking past the bottom of the hill near the baths.
Parked at the beach which was closed due to storms and didn't it smell. Found the trail head and walk in. Soon had cache in hand and signed. TFTC
This place really smells after the storms. Walked up and we had CIH. Nice place but would be better without the smell.
I have never been to the Macmasters Beach cafe so today we came out to see it and pick up a cache as well. It was not far to the "track"head and I was soon at GZ and trying not to full over, the terrain level is about right though. Afterwards we tried the coffee and looked at breakfast and evening menus, we are certainly coming back here, it's much quieter than Avoca and the views are great. Thanks to jlcrwaite for a good cache with a nicel challenge.
