No success here today! The plants in the area could’ve grown significantly since it was hidden here. We don’t want to end the day with a fail so we’re on to the next!
3 April 2018, in the area and had a quick look hoping I might be able to find it when others didn't.. no luck.. The owner should come and check the cache seeing there is 8 previous DNF's and no one has found it since 17/6/17.
While staying at my sisters for a girly weekend she came to give me some extra help with a few in the area. Knew had been a few no finds this but always happy to give things a go. Gave it a good looking over but like the others, this on should be looked into Ketchthor
Been here once before and failed. But now finally found. Took a while to get out. TFTC
Seeing a number of hides in the area we headed over targeting those of D2 or above. Some tough hides and tricky locations where the GPSr also would not steady. We saw one needed an elevation device so unfortunately had to give it a miss and it was to find a small rather than a micro near the end. TFTC. I think we found the orginal as the log was full
Nice find! I also feel like there should be a hidden beach around these shrubs. W + M
Am overseas until early October. Cache should be sorted by 15th October. Sorry about the delay.
### **MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as one that may need attention. Perhaps it is time for the CO to check on this one please.
I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Your prompt attention to logs that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers. It is generally accepted that 3 consecutive DNF's is reason enough to check, see here: [Owner is responsible for visits to the physical location,](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance )
Please respond to this situation by ** 1st October** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

Saw the previous four DNF's but still decided to have a crack at this one. Had a good look at this one but didn't have any luck. Maybe it was muggled...
In Point Cook today from Ballarat for a craft day. I left home a little earlier so I could nab a few quick caches. A quick find here - many thanks
Quick find by the geokid as we go for a wander to try and burn off some of the chocolate that's already been devoured.
Found with dazzpete.
We made our way to this one via some roads, and some no roads...according to signs that were on the roads, and way out in the paddocks...where there quite clearly weren't any roads.
Anyway...
We eventually got there and after waiting out and dodging a zillion and one joggers.....(jogging must not be fun because you won't ever see one smiling), we were all over GZ like a fat kid on a donut, and came up with a couple of caches!, enough for everyone! So we all signed our lives away a couple of times and rehid everything, then wandered off to the next one.
Thanks Ketchthor for the evening stroll.

geoD found this one in quick time; in fact he found the two cache containers in the same spot!

[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there Ketchthor. We found your cache "Alamanda #8 Nurturing Nature" today. This cache makes our find count 12525.
[Blue]
We spent a really enjoyable day today, caching with Phetlern. We started off in Werribee South then roamed across to Point Cook, Seabrook, Williams Landing and Hoppers Crossing. We found a good cross section of 'caches ranging from Nano right up to Large, and arrived back at camp tired and ready for a few drinks, a baked salmon dinner and a huge pavlova (Thanks Penny & Helen).
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

Took a while to locate this one - found by H-P on a second pass.
This was one of many finds, while caching our way around the labyrinth of the Point Cook housing estates, with their wonderful open parks & playgrounds. It was a great opportunity to catch up with Ian & Penny before they head off travelling again.
Our thanks to Ketchthor for bringing us to this location.

Great series of caches in an area that I have not ventured out to.
Nice Summer day to get out and pick some caches up in the area.
I initially had walked past the hide, as I saw two people approaching the arrea, thinking that I might be muggled. I then noticed that they had stopped and started to look for something.
It seems that I had stumbled across my second set of cachers in one day!!!
We had then proceeded to look for the cache together and quickly found it.
Both of us then signed the log and returned it to the hide.
TFTC!!!

A beautiful sunny afternoon - if a bit windy. Mr A (youngest geokid) & I decided to grab a few caches.
Thought we'd give this series a go - great series. Will be back to complete soon.
Bumped into a fellow cacher. Found, log signed & cache returned & on to the next one.
Signed as either Faye, Fayemous or Fayemous65.

Second find with Geokid tonight. A little easier than our first in clearing up this series.

This one took me quite some time. The GPS had me not far away but two searches of an obvious item failed to reveal the cache. I checked everything within a reasonable radius at least twice and a cat sort of came to say hello. I was on the verge of giving up when a third check of something revealed a rather well-concealed tiny cache, not responding at all to the hint!
Found by Mary & David at 1645. Love the real estate around here. Quite different from our area where we built 30 years ago. Much smaller blocks, but plenty of community parks, trails and wetlands. A nice quick find. Our thanks to Ketchthor.
Caching today with Dutch Frangipani who has had several months absence due to pregnancy. A really fun day once again with lots of laughs, good conversation and some challenging caches to be found.
This place certainly nurtures nature. We disturbed an ants nest and they weren't very happy with us. A nice area for a walk and finding caches. Thanks Ketchthor

Out and about today with Sorcysal after a break from caching to have a baby, we were mentioning how much this place has changed over the years.
It looks like a lovely place to live with all the wetlands and gardens around.
Something wasn't right here - we thought we had found the place but instead disturbed a very angry nest of ants. Had the log signed not long after and made a quick getaway. Sorry ants!!

Went on a drive around Alamanda to find all these caches with my Two youngest cachers today. This is the second attempt at this cache, the first time was when it was first published, we got it this time. TFTC
This was the last we did today before heading for home. Spotted the likely hiding place as we approached, found that I was correct, and signed the log at 1:40pm. Then we turned and headed back to the car, near #6.
thanks Ketchthor

Second to last in the series and happy to say it was found without any problems. Thanks Ketchthor.
We have come to visit family & do some caching in the Melbourne area.
We met ABL 573 at a previous cache & continued with him to find the remainder of the series.
A series of micros is always a little of a worry but luckily we found all but 2.
Thanks for placing this cache Ketchthor

Clever use of local possibilities. Had to wait while walkers moved past, but soon returned cache to its hiding place. T4TC

# 8514. Robmc and I needed a little fresh air. We decided to head this way now that we have new maps in our GPS's and try to finish off the outstanding ones from our last visit. Unfortunately we had forgotten about school-age muggles that might be roaming with or without parents and dogs. We had to give quite a few a miss, yet again.
We are now at the other end of the trail and this one came with bonus cat. It wandered from the paddocks and wanted some patting before going home. More nicely planted areas nearby.
Thanks Ketchthor

Bettyboo3747 and I came down to Point Cook this afternoon. Probably not such a good day to cache in this area. It was a rare sunny day, and we had forgotten about school holidays. We ended up walking away from several hides due to muggle infestation.
The other end of the trail. We met a cat here that had been playing in the wetlands and was after some attention before returning home.
Nice to have somewhere to sit to sign the log.
Thanks, Robmc.

Another quick find in this series, doing them in the opposite order intended. Once again good coords and a helpful hint helped.
Thanks again Ketchthor

Due to muggle activity, we had to walk past the previous cache and made our way here first. Walking past a meadow, we unintentionally frightened the young cattle - they galloped away from the fence, only to then look back curiously.
This smart hide could not keep its secret for too long. As it turned out, it is in a type of container that one of us is only too familiar with. Nice use of the environment here!

Our final cache for today and in this series - it took us some time to find this well hidden cache as we were rather distracted by a lovely cat that just wanted to be patted and to rub against us!! A different cache to end on. Thank you so much Ketchthor for all the many hours, the planning and all the implementations of all your caches that we have enjoyed doing this am - it has been much appreciated.

Today wasn't the best day to go Geocaching but Bessie the GEO dog needed to get out of the house and go for a run! In between rain showers, we managed to find a couple of them out of both series in the wetlands area. TFTC [: )]
My second try at this one and finally came up with the goods! A very very sneaky hide that if it wasn't for the little cat that followed me to this one hadn't jumped around and I saw the little hide. TFTC
Found 7:00:00 PM, whilst out on a lazy Thursday afternoon caching expedition. A nice easy find to day, I have no idea how I missed it last time [B)]

Rebel Acts and I decided to take a short trip to the area to pick up a number of caches. The night was cool, but pleasant, and all but one cache was found; that one was missing as confirmed by the CO at the cache location. Thanks
Found on another caching adventure with Trailrunning, we headed out West on a nice cool but dry night, seemed like a night of Nanos? Thankfully we found a couple of real caches in the mix. Thanks Ketchthor for the cache.
A sneaky little devil just to keep us all on our toes I feel. Happy to have found it without interruption too. You are so lucky down here to have such lovely trails to ride/walk along.

What adventures are we going to have today, was the question I put to my geo daughter. Let's find some treasure. I couldn't resist that request, so we drove up the highway to tackle this new series. Lucky for us we were able to park close by again for this one. I was thinking this one could take some time given where the coordinates had me. But yes, very clever spot. This was number five of nine for the morning. Signed returned as found.
[blue]Thanks for this traditional cache hide and series, Ketchthor. [^]
Log and container were in good condition.
