Going to be maintained or should this be archived and room made for a potential new cache in this lovely park?
A previous finder told me that I had been looking in the right place for the right kind of container. This, plus the other DNFs, makes me think that the cache may no longer be there.
I looked but couldn't find it. From viewing previous logs, I think I know what kind of container I was looking for. From looking at the hint and the coordinates, I am sure that I was looking in the right location. From considering the terrain rating of 1.5, I feel that climbing wasn't necessary.
The GPS would not settle but we had a strong feeling what we were looking for based on clues and logs. Alas, we did not find it this time.
No luck. We think we have the right spot and what we could be looking for but no good today
Well, after not being able to find this little bugger the other day I came back determine to find it. After looking in to different area I settle on one because of the difficulty rating of 1.5 as the other area would have needed a higher rating for sure. But after 10 minutes of wandering around and mumbling to my self. People must have taught me crazy or that I was praying. Lol
Anyway in the end it was easy I stepped on some and when I looked it was not squashed. I taught it strange so took a closer look. 'Oh golly gosh so you are what I'm looking for down here not really any where. Do the legal and returned it close to the structure for protection. Nice one. Great camo. It almost buzzed past me. TFTC

Looked and looked up and down and everywhere I could think of. I will try again some time.
After doing a couple of circles and not noticing anything out of place I glanced in the right direction and there it was. Just had to wait for a quiet moment to make a grab for it without bringing too much attention to myself. Cheers and TFTC
As I approached GZ my focus started to narrow down to a specific area. I spied something immediately but it turned out not to be what I was looking for. Looking around for inspiration I struck it lucky and leaped at the chance. Signed the log and visited a trackable. TFTC midmy7.
Saw something suspicious up high. Lucky my geo buddy Brewmaker is a lot taller than me otherwise I would not have gotten this one. Loved the container. Great movie. TFTC
Found with C8. Wow! How does a 1.65m tall mini geocacher like me get to it? Pretend I'm Vincent Price! Help me! Help me! CIH and lucky I've got my geotweezers too. Great job for the camo on a hot Sunday arvo in a pleasant park with muggles resting and playing. Time flies when you're having fun! TFTC. TNLNSL. #377
17:35 What is this thing that the cache is attached to anyway? I had some fun climbing it.
Heaps of people and their dogs out and about on this pleasant afternoon.

My first geocache was unsuccessful. Unfortunately, it seems to have something to do with the bin. Which is not my cup of tea
Last of the series (to date) crossed off the list. Arrow jumping around an open space with not a lot of places to hide a cache so concentrated more on “attachment” ideas than co-ords. Something then caught my eye, moved closer and confirmed the camo.
The co-ords were jumping around a bit and the pin point was a little off but thanks to the hint I found GZ and had CIH. TFTC
On my way to visit a friend who lives opposite this park, I thought I'd have another crack at this one as I'd failed once before a few months ago(although it was night time then). No such trouble this time though I'm happy to say, was quite a buzz to find it-thanks for the cache!!
My second visit to this cache and time to log a DNF. My GPS takes me to between the side road and a Sewer Vent.
I have looked at this structure, the tree and a nearby sign but haven't looked into the Garbage Bin due to my concerns for personal health. Arriving home today I have looked at some photos and read some logs and believe that the next time I am here, I need to bring gloves and hand wash.
If it it is there, it's not my idea of a good hide.

Decided to grab a few caches on my way to work today, to extend our "mini" streak, fill yet another calendar gap, and to generally add to our cache "found" tally. This was the 1st find of the day.
After striking out at "Waterloo 1815" I continued on to this one. Parked the geomobile in Wyndham Street and walked up to GZ. Had to take a second look to confirm what I was about to make a grab for was actually the cache, and not something nasty Made the grab and, thankfully, it was CIH. A nice bit of camo midmy7. Signed the log sheet and replaced as found. TFTC.

Work lunch, introduced my colleagues to caching. They're seriously hooked. Great cache. No flies on us.
We didn't really find the playground but we definitely found the cache!
Headed up to the location with Krishy and had a quick look. There was indeed something a little bit off. Had Krishy look a bit closer and sure enough, there it was!
Krishy was asking to look for treasure all day so it's good to have a bit of a streak going.
Signed nearby and returned.
Thanks for the cache!

Just found one yesterday similar as this but this one is more clever! Thanks for the cache!
The last of several caches found with Delloro this afternoon after enjoying a walk around the area caching. Minutes later a storm hit and we had no choice but to try out the beers and pinball machines in the local pub! TFTC!

Our last for the day, and a frantic struggle to remove the log as the sky got ever more threatening. We made it to the local pub just as the heavens opened for a refreshing ale.

What a good hiding and cache! Today it was a terrible wet day anyway I found it. TFTH
Down from the Central Coast with DOC-WHO and mr_roo for a bit of caching in Sydney. My GPSr kept pulling me towards a tree, but mr_roo had better luck, spotting the pesky container a few metres further along. Thanks for the hide and bringing me to this nice area.
Down from the Central Coast for a day of caching within the CBD, and organised through "C4" on FB. Todays lucky participants were BareFootJeff and mr_roo, and myself.
Distance walked was around 14 -17 km
Caches bagged were approx 23 each.
Some of the smaller logbooks signed with a collective "C4" or DW, BFJ, MR.
Pleasantly surprised by our travels throughout several suburbs once again. From birds, flowers, tags, sculptures, graffiti, trees, refuse and even discarded sex toys, yep I did said that Fun day, fast pace by mr_roo, gonna have to drug him next time...
Till next time !...
Had us Buzzing for sure !

Out today with DOC WHO and BarefootJeff. I found this one while the other two were off looking nearby. Very straight forward TFTC
Frightened me but after venting my spleen had the cache in hand thanks for the hunt
This cache appears to have been removed with the object upon which it was hidden, some time in the last couple of months. I've replaced it today. Happy caching!
Although the GPSr wanted me elsewhere, the hint suggested an obvious place, but I had no luck there, so after about 15 minutes I gave up.
I was going to save the Midmy's series for the school holidays but I'm here now (how could I go past an unfound cache when I'm already within walking distance?). Hint lead me straight to the GZ and based on other logs knew the approximate height to be searching. C was IH in minutes and I finally found a use for the tweezers I'd packed in my caching kit. Signed, replaced and flew off to my next cache.

Well this took way longer than it should have at night with torches and Alpha Delta Indigo. GPS all over the shop, but eventually had the little blighter in our net.
Such a nice neighbourhood park in the middle of the city. Mrs Gaztek used to play Aussie Rules here. Funny container in an appropriate place with a funny clue. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
TFTC. Found with TeamPaulsen following dinner at The Abbotts Hotel. A rare flight with no ointment .
Lucky it wasn't windy else we'd have been blown away. A lovely little hide for a stunning Sydney morning. Playground was packed. Cheers!
Found after searching the wrong area for a little while. After sat av settled it took us right there. Cool camo. TFTC
Excellent little cache! Seen photos of similar but this is my actual first ... TFTC!!!
Quick find at a great park but should have brought a dog to fit in with the others.. Muggles and their muggle dogs abound .. Had a little difficulty with the log - tweezers would have been handy .. SL TFTC
This is was a hard but with some sharp eyes and good posture you could get it
No luck with this one today. Looks like we will need to bring some height-adjusting equipment for the next attempt.

For quiete some time now we're looking for an apartment / a property in Sydney (and it's surrounding) and found this cache after a viewing, thanks for it
Luckily my pocket knife has a pair of tweezers which were handy to get the log out.
What I had trouble with was winding it up tight enough to get it back in!
Thanks for the excuse to go for a sunny Sunday cycle Midmy7

Not entirely unpleasant, but perhaps it wasn't full. No pen, so photographed the log. TFTC!
Nice quick find where it lies not above and around.. must not be warm enough today. Tftc
Not a nice one to finish the series. But it was quick.

26/4/15. 12:15 PM. Cache #2456. Streak day #308. I was already in Alexandria for the Please Come Clean CITO event, and I came here for a quick look at about 9:45. Couldn't find it, so I headed off to the event which was attended by a couple of finders of this cache. I asked one and got confirmation that it was in the place I had looked.
After the CITO, I returned and felt around a bit better. Aha - last person before me must have pushed it a bit far last time. I got hold of it and walked to a dry spot under a tree to open it and sign log. Then back to GZ to replace it. After cleaning my filthy hands, I headed on to my next target. "Give a fig" in Queens Park. TFTC.

A park I get to drive past relatively often for work, but parking is certainly easier in the area on a Sunday so despite it not being very nice caching weather I thought I would stop by after our CITO event in Sydney Park. I had overheard enough that it was a quick find, though a bit lucky it is still findable with a large fallen tree right next to it. Thanks midmy7.
The sub-tropical cyclone that hammered Sydney this week has knocked over a large tree within a few metres of the GC. Still managed to find it!
Eeeewwww! That was the most disgusting cache we've ever done! Make sure you stand upwind and pack some hand sanitiser. Tweezers would be helpful to get log out. TFTC .... I think

Joint (FTF)
Well I was sitting at home writing some emails when this one popped up in my in tray. So I decided to go for it. A fast paced walk to GZ and on approach I see two cachers still completing the signing duties. So I quick get over there and get my name on the list with Rheneas and EDF. TFTC

I'd been stuck at home all morning on work conference calls and was heading into the office late. As fortune would have it, the train I was on was approaching Redfern station just as the cache publish notification came through. I scrambled to gather my belongings and disembarked just in time! Noting that I was still about 800m away from GZ I walked quickly in the direction specified by the GPSr. As I walk, I remembered that Equipe des fous worked fairly close by and I wondered if he'd seen the cache publication and was on his way too?
I didn't have to wait long to find out: as I crossed the road to the park, I saw the familiar figure of Equipe des fous hovering over an object which was suspected of hiding the cache. After a brief discussion and hesitation we started searching the object and Edf put his hands on the cache first. We signed the log and were just about to replace the cache when another familar figure wandered up. pk1965 also signed the log and Edf generously allowed us both to claim a joint, three-way {*FTF*} @ 11:10am. The competition for FTF in the inner west is pretty fierce! TFTC midmy7!

My office is only a 5 min walk from GZ, so I had a go at getting FTF (rare for me). I got there first and had an initial scout around when Rheneas turned up. I explained my hesitation at looking too closely at the hint object but then thought OK for a FTF I had better look again and found the cache. As we were signing the log pk1965 turned up so we had a triple FTF! A short geochat later was interrupted by someone wishing to use the facilities - there is a pole a few metres west which may be a better location?
