I’ve found a couple of this type of hide and being the middle of the school holidays knew it would likely be quieter around here. It was quiet but that didn’t make the searching any easier. Today I found nothing.
I attended a meeting at the local Intermediate School this afternoon and afterwards asked a colleague if they'd like to find a cache with me. Turns out I'd parked the van about 12 metres from this one, so we crossed the road to start the search. My colleague made the actual find (ka pai, Mrs W) and then we were off to the shops.
Thank you for the cache.
Thank you for the cache.
After finding one bus cache earlier thought I would try this onw on the way home, anther one down tftc.
Cache check carried out. All good. Not sure what the previous DNFers were looking for.
Tired n tired but to no avail just couldnt put our hand on it but thank you for the challenge tho
A cache check after work tonight showed that this cache has been muggled. Replaced with same as previous. Good to go again.
Today is the last day of my cache raid in Blenheim. I exceeded my target of 9 caches for the day before lunch so that left me with a decision of what to do to fill in the afternoon. Thinks, "Maybe I could go for a walk and see if I can make it 20 caches found for the day, afterall that would be only another 7. Should be easy." Having just found a bus shelter cache I thought I return to this one, which I DNF'd a few days back, and search a couple of places that I hadn't checked last time. Oh blast, no hidden cache there! Maybe it is AWOL!
Our first bus shelter cache, so needed a little help from other people’s comments and eventually found it, yay!
First cache in Blenheim for our whanau, while out on our South Island roadie...walked around the neighbourhood to a few nearby caches with friends...found by our friends and we got them hooked! Tftc
#4351. I was over in Blenheim today for a meeting and allowed enough time after the meeting to pick up a few local caches before heading home. The weather was a stunning Marlborough winter day which always helps with cache hunting. I have done a fair few bus shelter caches over the past 3 years but I think seven in a day is a record. Also got to enjoy the delights of power boxes, bridge barrier magnetics and vineyard signs. All up a fun day scooping a bunch of fairly easy caches to boost the August tally. Thanks to the cache owners for making the time and effort to put these out for our caching pleasure. I think it was this bus shelter that I found a small tool left in situ to help prise the cache out of its lair. Very helpful. Had to use my pen a couple times for the same trick elsewhere. Thanks Kiwimyki. Last bus shelter of the day. Over them for a while.
Out on a mission over the hill with bumandworker today.
Having completed our Bravest Animals mission it was time to head home. Oh, OK maybe a couple of Trads on the way.
I wonder how many more of these I am yet to find.

A bit of a cheat as I knew it was only just down the street and saved it for today .. but thanks
We are keen geocachers from Tauranga staying with good friends here for a few days. Luckily they took pity on us searching every nook and cranny we could and gave us a further clue, as we were so close yet so far. Even that nearly didn't help, until we 'twigged'. Very nice use of a bus shelter. Cache is all good. TFTC
My first Blenheim bus shelter. Was staying nearby. Spent an exhaustive chunk of time on this. Frustrated, went home and enlisted muggle husband in the search explaining what I had eliminated so far. One minute later cache was in hand. Hmmf! Off to do some more now to make the most of my new found knowledge! TFTC kiwimykl
Quick find this afternoon with eltee291. Signed the log and replaced as found! Visiting from Victoria, BC, Canada! Thanks for the cache!
Quickly found this afternoon with hingis20. In Blenheim to visit with my daughter and her family. From Victoria, BC, Canada. TFTC

And a cache or two or so to go for

Today we mostly targeted PnG caches to help boost our July numbers to go towards a challenge in the North Island, The weather was sunny but still with a chilly wind so was always warmer in the car than out of it. We managed 57 cache finds and ended the night on a high note with a FTF in the fresh snow and dark at St Arnaud. Overall we totaled 107 finds for the weekend - blowing the challenge out of the water!
A quick find but hard to get out. Had to laugh at the 'This end in' written on the book and surprising how many people actually need this and so many more who already know it but dont do it and it makes extraction of the logbook so much harder. Thanks for the cache

took a break from the tennis twice to try & find this one. the first time, after getting within 50 meters of the cache, it was muggled out. the second time, I had locals that walked past but got to search for quite a while. I don't think there was any other crevice to look inside, as stated, there are only so many places to hide anything here.
Out for a quick spot of caching after Fire Training, as usually have to work Monday nights until much later.
Nice mild weather, a moderate 16 degrees with light wind.
Literally nothing to mention for this QEF PNG.

Out and about on the bike today and a few local caches on the list. But just one found today-this one. Only here for a couple of minutes, but had to embarrassingly wave off a bus that stopped for me and my bike. TFTC
After the CITO event at the Grovetown lagoon I had time to go and find a few more caches before I head back home to Nelson. Whew! When I first encountered some of these BSCs I didn't know quite what to do. Now I've found a few, I'm on a roll and this was a nice quick find. TFTC, Biggles.
Great spot, our 1st bus shelter cache. Over from Welly doing some Marlborough caches. TFTC
Not only a quick find, but a double quick find in fact given there are two identical caches here, I signed both logbooks.

Haven't done a bus shelter one before but logic went to work and it was soon in hand. A pleasant walk from were we are staying in our motorhome at the racecourse.

Staying in Blenheim tonight while cycling from Picton to Christchurch, so decided to use the bike and a spare evening to amble around and collect a few local caches. *TFTC Kiwimykl, #8525*
Out and about on a pleasant Wednesday evening with Kiwimykl, collecting a few local caches that he found before I got hooked on this obsession. I had been shown the trick with these earlier in the evening, so this was a QEF this time.

Wasn't as quick a find as it perhaps should have been. But I learnt a valuable lesson here that paid dividends over the next couple of days. TFTC
One of the many caches we found on our journey from Oamaru to Picton via Molesworth Station. A mighty and enjoyable journey through NZ high country. Many thanks to the many CO for the great cache placements and for bringing us to new places. Sorry for the generic log.
A business trip to Blenheim allowed a clean up of a few outstanding caches on the trip. A nice quick find. TFTC
I had tried and failed to find the "Gimme Another Shelter" cache earlier on me stroll around Blenheim today.
So when I saw J.A.B.S. I was not filled with confidence of a find [:o]
This shelter is identical to the other shelter !!
I took a seat to think about me surroundings.
It struck me that the components of the shelter were fairly standardised.
Which meant that there was one place to hide a cache that I had not found at the last bus stop
I put me theory to the test and ...
... Yes !! A cache
Well actually two cache finds !!
You can bet I am going to wander past the other bus stop on me way back to camp

A quick find while out filling in time waiting for the rest of the house to wake up. Good to knock my previous DNF here off the map.
Thanks Kiwimykl for the cache.

Checked on the way to work this morning. Cache has defintely been muggled. Container and log replaced, all good to go again.
Getting the hang of these... trying to look inconspicuous with 2 grandchildren and a muggle over the road yells out 'did you find it?' TFTC
Going to get some honey from Bushes, passed a bus shelter, I wondered if there was something hidden there. Stopped, checked phone, yes, jumped out and grabbed it, signed it and back in the vehicle out of the cold wind to log it. Needed the stick. Tftc.
Mr BammJam's birthday, so we're off to see if we can make this our biggest caching day yet (previous best is 16).
Find #452 for the BAMMJams - we don't usually like to do caches "just for the numbers", but we were after numbers today for the first time, so we used these bus shelter ones which were put out just for the numbers too. Straight in, straight out, same as all the other ones we've already done today.
The mini-BammJams dropped a dice but took nothing out. TFTC.

We had to have 2 bites of the cherry here. The first time we pulled up there was a group waiting for a taxi and someone having a ciggie break next door. On our second attempt all was clear and the log was soon signed. Thank you Kiwimykl.
Sometimes good things come in twos. Even on our second attempt the locals were either on the move or static and just hanging out. A bit of patience did it though and it was a simple uninterrupted find and log in the end. Thank you Kiwimykl.
Mrs W dragged the entire family out of their sick beds to come and make this find to grab the Geocaching Day souvenir Thanks of the cache.
For some reason this hasn't changed to a smiley face on my map, so I'm re-logging it. TFTC
[green] Another dot day. Norm, ally I would be off somewhere after work, but I was very organised this morning, or maybe just up earlier than usual. And got bored hanging around home so left fopr work early, giving me time to stop by here. The whole street was empty, so no stealtyh required
A quick stop on my way into town for some supplies. Thanks, Kiwimykl for this series - a few more to get
I thought I knew where to search after finding several of these up and down the South Island. Turns out I did but it was in someone else's search quadrant. All good in the end and that's what's so great about working in teams. TFTC #6703
For Mrs Sobad this was HSBSC - her second .... It was where she checked first - but not well enough. Forturnately another in the party was more careful. Caching today post event with Libitee, Isis58 and Sidewaze, the log was signed LISS.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Now that I have done a Blenheim bus shelter cache I will know what to expect. It must have been in the absolutely last place left to look. Ironically the shortest member of the team made the find. It's funny how things work out sometimes. TFTC .
Caching with Sidewaze, Isis58 & Mrs SoBad - the "LISS" team. Sometimes reading logs can be helpful - hence the shortest person in the team being the finder on this one...what fun. I wonder what passers by thought about 4 women crawling (well not quite) about in a bus shelter. TFTC
