Have tried this cache on a number of occasions whilst visiting family in Cowra....still to no avail
We join the legions of DNFs.
looked on all levels but felt we should not be traipsing around the boulders and garden below the top layer of lookout as much as we were and the co odds led us. However the view was spectacular.

Argh invested an epic amount of time searching all levels all ways. No luck for us today.
A crisp morning drive out to orange for an afternoon event turned into a hot day! On the hunt with Minniek, Fitzy_1965, mynamesjeff and deathkiller.

I picked up a few caches on a leisurely drive to Orange for the weekend.
Wasn't able to get this one, though. I spent longer than I wanted to looking for it & still couldn't find it. Next time!

My second visit to this spot but even with Genghicat I had no more luck than last time. We poked and prodded every hole we could find without luck. Need a clue for this one. Our GPSs are way to unstable

Very excited to be on the road heading to the Queensland Muster in Barcaldine caching all the way. With plans to catch up with family and fellow cachers in NSW first we headed up through some uncharted areas seeking out great locations with a variety of different hides.
Awesome views from here were had before beginning the search. As everyone says we started on the wrong level before trying on the next . Once there the sneaky mini hide was detected after reading a previous log.
Thanks Joshwa27 for the cache with views.

Bikerbuddy and Toriaz did this last night while we were at Carcoar and then shopping for our lovely dinner at Farleigh Reserve.
They joined me up here this morning to admire the views and my surprisingly quick find.

Toriaz and I came here in the late afternoon before rejoining Canary at our campsite. First, the cache: this was a bit nasty. I'm surprised we found it. Multiple places to look, different levels which gave different possible meanings to the clue, and such a small cache. In the end, we decided where we figured it had to be, and after a brief search there Toriaz managed to turn it up.
Next: what great views! I really love this region. Much of Cowra looks quite dry at the moment, but it still looks beautiful, especially when viewed from this website. I also took a few photos of Toriaz reading at the table with the views in the background for our book review website's bottom banner. Thanks

Final cache for the evening, before picking up some food for dinner & heading back to our campsite to meet back up with the Canaries. This one gets a favourite for the fantastic views you get up here. We found this one in the late afternoon, and came back in the morning with the Canaries. Both times the views were fabulous.
Cache took a bit of searching for, as we had to decide on level. Finally I spotted something that didn't look quite right and there it was.
Thanks

Cowra - a town with a fascinating if somewhat black history.
We stopped here on the way home from the Geo Muster, to learn more of the history and find some of the many caches showing on our geo-map. We started looking on the wrong level, luckily the cache was spotted just as we made the decision to abandon the search, partly because of the broken glass.
Thanks 'Joshwa27' for placing caches in the area.

No luck for us today. Had a pretty good search around but then our time limit was up so we moved on. Next time !
I think you need to rethink this one. Maybe coordinates are out. Way too many DNF's
Thankyou for the hide anyway- no luck even though I was supposedly right on it!!

Did not Find 7:00 pm. The girlfriend and I were in Cowra to visit and pass on birthday wishes. I would like to find geocaches and we wanted to check out the scenery. This cache was the next we visited. A great view from up here but after looking everywhere for the cache we had no success and spent way too much time trying to find it. I have no idea at this stage what a mini tic tac looked like as I was to discover later. And given that the number of potential places is big we tried pulling the shed apart but the electrical cabling and screws delayed us in that (kid). I found myself spending extraordinary amount of time underneath it searching nooks, crannies, rock holes but nothing turned up. I did come across a couple of lizards though probably wondering why I was poking around in their hidey hole. The girlfriend probably the wisest of us two decided to spend the remaining time at least enjoying the view.
Oh dear we came we searched we failed thanks for bringing us here. cheers from Ozglory
Hi there Joshwa27.
This is the 2nd of 5 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 1:16:00 PM, but we just couldn't locate your cache, so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

SpecimenX and I headed out on a geocaching mission to Cowra today. We planned to get to Grenfell and Young as well, but caching took longer than we thought - the GPS was also slow to point the right direction, maybe because of the clouds. Around 35 finds and 8 DNFs for the day (a few too many DNFs sadly). Thanks to SpecimenX for a fun day and a few exciting memories to keep! We signed with Penn (pen) or Teller (stamp) depending if the log was big enough.
sadly another DNF for us. We had a reasonable look around, but did not have the time to spend on a more thorough search. Will give it another go when we come back! Thanks anyway.

Nope no joy for us here. We were on a time limit so after spending quite a decent amount of time searching we had to move on with our geomission.
Thanks anyway, Joshwa27

Talk about a needle in a hay stack ,we search high and low before spotting it's hidy place , all is good with the cache
Arrr I looked late yesterday but the light beat me, so I returned this am I know I was close but I will return
TFTC. What a great hide. This one was another Cowra cache that beat us last year. Today was a different story. After a bit of a bit of a scratch about the little beast was in hand. We also added 11 months of unloved to our tally.
A great hiding spot and great views to be had from the lookout.

4th day, we could not find with skyejam & sevabo but there are many DNF before us??!!
I noticed that lots of DNFs which we were planning to search for the cache so we cancelled.
I'm quite sure it's there... somewhere. But I didn't find it today. Searched for about half hour, making daughter gangstella late for a party. Oops.
Maybe next time I pass through.
Maybe next time I pass through.
Had a look around, but wasn't able to find this one today. Spectacular views none the less! Thanks for bringing me to this spot
Well I had a good look over a large range. Plenty of hiding spots but no luck. I would lift the D rating to at least 4 unless the coords are out or it gets a clearer hint. Of course I can't judge until I find it.
Another cowra DNF, I must be very unlucky or blind. Tried many cracks but no cigar.
This cache is intact. Quick search around and geokid 1 found it. Takes a bit of searching. TFTC. And a cracking view!
I had to the place to myself, so was able to mount an extensive search. Although I was worried by the number of DNFs. I don't normally enjoy this type of cache, but the difficulty rating would have been worth it. After noting some comments about devious hides I found a likely spot where the GPS was happy, but there was no cache there. I even shone the torch in to see if I could spot anything, but no luck. This DNF turned out to be one of many this weekend where I had a 2:1 find:DNF ratio [xx(]
Oh dear we've lost the plot! Despite the gps saying we were within 1mt of it we couldn't find it :p~~ Never mind, a good reason to come back through this way. Brilliant views, thanks for bringing us up here chuze! We've certainly enjoyed your caches today

Out with team CRuDSS for Easter Long Weekend. Lovely day for a cache. Blue skies. Great view. A little tricky one. I looked but not hard enough as Snoopy1976 came though with the goods on this one at a place we all walked past. Sneaky hide! TFTC
Streak Day #990 - Out with Team CCRuDSS today doing a spot of caching in the Cowra area, 6th find the day and a bit of a search was involved, there was a couple of other cachers also looking for this but by pure luck i discovered the little blighter. TFTC
Team CCRuDSS decided to cache in Cowra today. This was our sixth find. Another group of cachers joined us in the find. Snoopy came up with the goods. SL #2482 on streak day #1361 TFTC

Changed hide. You are looking for a mini tic tac container. Probably a more difficult hide. Will increase difficulty level.
No luck today, not sure if the coordinates changed along with the new hide or not, so we expanded our search but came up empty.
C.O. there have been 4 DNFs in a row and this cache doesn't appear to be the hardest one to find. I suspect it has been muggled. Likely needs a check.
Add me to the list. Had a long search with no cache found. Think this one has gone
This is the 4th of 5 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]

We were at GZ at sunset and so enjoyed the magnificent views before hunting for the cache. Once we turned our minds to hunting and collecting, it was a q&e find. TFTC, Joshwa27.
Just when we were getting frustrated from the last 2 no finds we found it. Nice hint. TFTC. With AESPL
As I strolled up the hill toward the lookout, I could hear drums [:o]
I reached the carpark and found it was empty of cars, so the drums were not coming from here !!
A short climb got me to the lookout and I poked around for the cache....
[blue]Can you hear the drums Fernando ??
I remember long ago another starry night like this.
In the firelight Fernando !!
You were humming to yourself and softly strumming your guitar
I could hear the distant drums !!
And the sounds of muggles yelling coming from afar !! [/blue][:o]
With the clue handy, I set about finding the cache.
I had to get down on hands and knees to see it and reach it
So while the drumming in me head contiuned,
I signed the logbook and put the cache back
Now to find out what the commotion is about !!

[Blue]# 13220[/Blue] Found on the way back from our 2015 Winter escape to Qld.
Another perfect spring day for a drive to Cowra for the night.
The muggles moved on and I could look in peace for a while.
Thanks for the cache Joshwa27,

Winter weekend in Bathurst and Surrounds with Sol de Lune. On the way we took the time to visit the remaining caches in Cowra, all with a good outcome. Back up this hill for a cache, a bit easier to find this one then the one in the wall.
Thanks.

Found yesterday after the visit to the Japanese gardens. Also added a virtual cache for the five towers close by. TFTC.
Our only free day for quite some time so we decided to head out on a geomission around the area. We have had a couple of mini tours lately, but today we went all out to Cowra and Grenfell to see how many we could find. Rapidlywild came along for the drive to fill her gaps where she has previously posted DNF's. The weather was lovely and the drive was picturesque, thank you to all the cache owners for bringing us to this lovely part of Australia.
We searched high and low for this one but found nothing. Previous finder confirmed that we were looking in the right spot, so we decided to put a replacement cache in its place.
