Sigh. As much as it pains me to do it, this one just doesn't have a very good design. Thanks to all who found it, I hope it was a fun cache.
I've been kindly informed by a friend that this cache is in need of maintenance due to an unfriendly ant infestation. Should be back up soon for business as usual.
Today, teamdfl and myself, have planned a BIG day geocaching around this part of Brisbane with a few target caches planned and finding a few others as we go along.
We had our first find around 7 am and our last find was about 4 pm with approximately 20+ finds for me.
With both of us having cached around here before we sometimes had the case of this cache is for me and that cache is for you.
A quick detour to find this one. Once at GZ we discovered the ANTS had moved in. A bit of poking with a stick we eventually cleaned it out enough for the cache (caches [?], as two containers popped up ) to appear.
Thanks for the cache.

A day out on the dark side was planned for today, with a ride around Minnippi Parklands then a hunt around the local area afterwards. After a brief read of the description, I had an idea what to expect and brought lots if tool with me.
Did my best concert flautist impression (I carry a tool in the car that helps doing this solo, but forgot to bring it ) , and soon had an impressively dry log to sign.
Great version of a classic.

This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #2750. Thanks **GadgetJack** for showing us this spot. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

It seems the wet day when we found this one was the cause of not remembering to do a field note and hence not logging it. After lunching nearby with OrionJ we decided to have a look for this one to fill a date on our calendar. This was another fun cache and once retrieved we soon added our name to the log and the. A quick walk back to the car out of the rain. This one deserves a favourite from us. TFTC GadgetJack
I had heard this was a good one and the rumours were spot on! I really enjoyed this cache, very clever and surprisingly dry! Tftc

Out & about clearing up a few 'solved but unfound' mystery caches before they get archived! LOL ...
A nice little field puzzle that, at first, caused a little grief due to cache blindness! LOL ...
Once I brought in the big guns (Geo-Mamma) the cache was soon located.
Now to retrieve it!
Luckily there are multiple options, all of which we had the tools for.
Made our mark & replace as found.

It's Thursday and caching day, so I'm out with barbbowman and FastEd to get some smilies .
I love these types of caches. We had two types of tools with us today, but we ran into a problem. FastEd did some cache maintenance - he's emailed the CO - and the log was in great condition. Loved the log container GadjetJack - clever choice , I haven't seen one of these used in this way. TFTC GadgetJack we had fun finding it .

Arrived at this one with the necessary equipment. No luck with the cache retrieval.

Out and about in the area today and decided to finally give this one ago. I had decided to bring two different options for tools today and sure enough the first one worked a treat, without needing to make a mess. So got the log signed and soon all replaced before heading back out.

Took longer than it should have to find the container. All good from there tho. Didn't need a tool either. TFTG
FOund the spot, walked around - found what I had to do, did what I had to do - NOTHING
Contacted the CO who said they would come and check it out soon to make sure it still worked.
I'll be back

I had a fair idea what this was going to be from the description and logs. We did one just like it a few weeks ago in Noosa. So we came prepared.
For some reason, it took us a while to find the cache. I was looking around on either side when Miss 10 called out "found it".
Many hand make light work as they say and we soon had the log in hand. I never found out what the "tool" was that everyone was talking about.
All good here. TFTC GadgetJack

After a quick stop the "tool" was replaced and the cache is now operational. Happy caching.
Cool cache. A tool from the backpack soon had this cache in hand. Although spotting this hide defs took some time to my cache weary eyes. Tftc. Very cool construction and Recovered and returned on a jaunt in the area.
Ha! Just when I think I've got it figured out - there's not enough tool! Will come back one day soon and have another go. Thanks GadgetJack, had to put my thinking cap on
I was need of a wander through the bush today, and after collecting a nearby puzzle I decided to check this one out on my way back to the car. As I arrived at GZ I realised pretty quickly what needed to be done, and happily someone very obliging has left a very handy item which could be used to collect the necessary "tool" [^] Some scoping around led me to a good access point to collect said tool, and I returned to GZ mightily prepared. It certainly took a few contortions of the body and judicious application of teeth, but the cache was eventually extracted The things we do for a smilie Love the container. Who knew that'd be waterproof TFTC, Gadgetjack. Have a favourite point [^]
Well! That was one of the funnest finds i have done. Fav point from me!
First of all I parked at the iga. Nice and close.
Spent far too long trying to find gz as my gps wouldn't settle.
Finally found some clues in previous logs.
Ah ha! That's what I'm looking for.
Hmmm now what.
Oh. I need some supplies. I remembered I had just what I needed in my lunch bag in the car.
I raced back to get it bush bashing and all.
Got to my car and remembered it was almost gone. Oh no! Now what.
Ah ha! Lucky the iga had just what I needed but for free and in endless supply.
A quick race back to gz to test this thing out!
Oh no! That didn't work. Suddenly all the clues from Co was making sense.
Another run (and bush bash) back to the iga to get more supplies.
Time was precious ad I had 20 minutes to get to work.
Ran back to gz. Scratched head as I thought.....how do I......ah ha! The hint. Yes that's what I need. It worked.
I grabbed the container, oh that's interesting, and gleefully signed the log which was surprisingly dry.
Replaced everything as I found Including the tool.
All good with this cache.
It left me smiling all the way to work.
(Which I was 5 minutes late) but totally worth it!!!!
Thanks for the cache, the rush and the wet shoes lol.

Will get out today or tomorrow to find this cache and try to fix it. Keep posted for the enable. Will be up again soon.
A walk down to this cache has shown me that someone has been messing with my cache. Fortunately most of the pieces were there and all I had to do was re attack the cache to its tree. I believe that who ever did this was not looking to take the cache but to render it unusable or see what was inside. All is fixed now and it is all operational. Good luck.
Found this cache in pieces. Log was ok but not sure how it was meant to function.
It may require attention from the CO.

I came with sufficient supplies but not enough fingers. Back to the drawing board.
I came back later but better armed so to speak. So much easier.

I had planned to get to this one last week, but a lazy start to my day meant that I did not have time. Today had gotten off to a similar start. Gotta love being on leave.
I decided to park near this one and then set off from here on the geocycle to do some more nearby.
Only a short walk to this one. I had sort of come prepared for this one. No trouble at all until I went to write my name. I had left the pen in the car. Lucky it was not to far.
Back with a pen and the cache was replaced. Another minor twist to something I have seen a few times. Still worthy of a favourite point from me though. [^]

Came back to this one with Giraffe18 as I was here a few weeks ago with Parkos and couldn't extract the log. Gave this one a favorite point. Thanks for the cache.
Unfortunately on a previous visit it was raining heavily and I had to leave empty handed as GZ was surrounded by quite deep and fast flowing water from the deluge. I returned today and just as I arrived it started to rain again. What is it with this cache and rain, I thought. I waited a while and the rain eased off so I wandered down to GZ. Part way there I realized my pencil was still in the car so I returned to grab it and set off again. I arrived at GZ to find the area rather different from last time - not a drop of water to be seen in the creek around GZ. This posed rather a problem as I had not come prepared with the necessary resource, thinking that what had been there last time would still be there but in rather less abundance. Just didn't expect non-existence. So a grabbed one of the many containers that I found lying around not far away (looks like a good place for a CITO!) and went for a walk down the dry creek bed. I soon found the motherlode and returned to GZ to complete the deed. With my name in the log I CITO'd my container and returned to the car. TFTC
We were here with PirateLinda last month and couldn't get the log out
We were in the area today and decided to see if we could have success this time.
We were shocked to arrive at GZ and there were bottles littered around the area [:o]
The cache container isn't in as good of a condition as it was when we were last here, looks like someone has been tampering with it
We were happy to have been luckier this time and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks Gadgetjack for the cache

After a find nearby, I figured I had just enough time to find this one too if I were lucky. I parked in the IGA which was ideal, but there are plenty of other spots too.
After a bit of a hop, skip and a jump, I trod carefully to the GZ and found a familiar setup. I had brought some high quality supplies with me, and set to work, but failed to spot the 'extra degrees of difficulty' involved. Fortunately I was able to overcome that and make the grab just in time.
Yes, all is still fine inside and out so TFTC.
PS the memorial rock is about the creation of the nature reserve, I think.

I had walked around this area some time ago when I was looking for spots to hide caches and noticed the memorial rock nearby. I couldn't read it as it has faded. Maybe someone with better eyesight might be able to decipher it.
I strolled around before I located the cache but I don't know why because it was quite obvious in the end.
I had brought the required supplies to access the cache and with a bit of a tap it appeared.
I have actually seen this type of container used before and I was surprised to find the log was dry.

This is a cache I've been meaning to get for a while now as I live a couple minutes walk away. Tonight was the night. Genyo and I made the several minute hike down the road and after a brief look found a path that leads to GZ.
It was more difficult to find the cache than expected as Genyo left his phone at home so we had the one light. After a bit of searching and an entertaining slip down a slope for me we spotted the cache. We did what was necessary and had the prize in hand.
We signed the log, replaced everything as we found it and went on our way.
Thanks for a creative hide

I just finished a lovely meditation sit when I remember I promised Dawesy321 I would do something silly. I checked in to confirm what this silly thing would be, he was pretty clear... "Why don't we go into the bushland with only one light source, while holding water bottles, battle the spiders in the hopes of maybe getting a smiley". In any case, I thought that sounded like a terrible idea... But well... Too late now! Off we trot.
It was actually fun trotting, I am used to cantering so the trotting was a nice change... In any case when we go the GZ it wasn't clear what we were looking for or what we had to do.... I was worried I would have spend the night out under the stars if we didn't find it.
I needed have worried and given myself any number of the following: heart disease, asthma, obesity, diabetes, headaches, depression and anxiety, gastrointestinal problems, alzheimer's disease, accelerated aging and premature death (all of which are caused by excess stress - remember that!).
My health problems especially the accelerated aging continued to worsen as I looked in vain for the cache.
I was pretty concerned I had shaved at least 10 years off my life by the time we found the cache... But how to get it out? We had a few ideas - most of which involved mythical creatures so I ruled those out right out of the gate.
Luckily one of us remembered seeing this sort of cache before and we just had to follow the instructions and it was sorted. Although, I think we put the oven on too hot... from memory it should have been 180 degrees, but there was an issue with the dial so I had to put to to 200 - which caused more problems with the gingerbread than I would have imagined.
Cache retrieved, signed and returned. Health problems gone.
P.S That was not a direct quote, even though that is what quotation marks indicate... Sorry about that Dawesy321

Found the pipe. No log inside so I have replaced the log and now it is all operational. Good luck catchers and remember if you need help, look under the bottom.
**FTF** First to find. Very happy to see this was still unfound today. Very nice area around here. Creative cache, lucky I was pretty thirsty, and wow your were right about the mozzies, nearly carried me away. Would be a nice walk around here however. I often wonder how people find some of there spots, it's a puzzle. Thank you for bringing me here. Tftc tftftf.
