As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Please consider archiving this Cache as it has not been found for 6 months. The Girl Guides just behind this location would like to have a GeoCache located at their den as they do a GeoCaching badge as part of their curriculum but this cache is preventing them from placing it there.

Found this one at last. Where I thought would be but it has been too wet to check. Found it straight away tonight. Still don't understand the clue.

15-Sep-17
Found after dinner in the dark, GPS took me to a different place but after a short search there decided to look at other likely spots and then found it quickly. Coordinates seem to be out by about 10 metres. TFTC.

Next weekend is an event for laval's 1000th find but he needs about 10 more caches to get there so we decided to find a few local ones today to get his numbers up.

The geo-kids were far more interested in what was over the hill then finding the cache but after looking in all the wrong places I let the geo senses take hold and soon spotted the cache. Log signed and returned and we were on our way.

Thanks for the cache.

27-Aug-17

17-Jun-17
Read the logs and figured out where we needed to look but there was nothing there

17-Jun-17
Spent a while looking in all of the obvious and less obvious spots but a DNF.

17-Apr-17
Had to come back a second time to find this. The first time I just used the GPS co-ords given, my phone GPS gave me a position that was 50 feet over the back fence and in the neighbours garden. Went home, read all the logs, and most people said co-ords were wrong and to use geo-sense. I'm new to this, so went back, wandered along the path, came upon an object that looked like a possible place, and there it was. Yep, I was suitable delighted to find this. TFTC.

21-Dec-16
Day 10 of a 50 day streak done for my current geo licence Smile My phone was all over the place and Mr 6 said what about there.... and sure enough he was right Wink No idea what the title and the hint meant lol! Someone had put a lolly in the bag which has leaked sticky liquid all over the log so it now can't be written on and there is still liquid in the bag Sad I took out the lolly and put in another piece of paper for a log but it could really do with another ziplock as I didn't have any spare on me. TFTC!

Wish we understood the clues but just looked in a few obvious places and eldest son found it. Massive clap of thunder as we walked into playground so maybe that was the sonic boom!!

10-Jul-16
Straight off a DNF we (I was caching with casaba3 this afternoon) looked in the wrong spot for a bit following our GPSrs. Then a few logs were read and we looked up and saw a couple of likely spots. Soon after the cache was in hand! Thanks for turning our frowns upside down whafarr!

10-Jul-16

Went with TheDrewJames. It was our second attempt since the first was at night. Since we're fairly new to Geocaching is DID take us a wee while to locate it, but got there in the end. Cool little cache and nice spot.

Nice n easy find here after I ignored the GPS and looked in the most logical place. No idea what the hint means, even after I found the cache. Thanks.

20-Feb-16
I took the hints of others and looked where I would hide a cache and there it was. Thanks.

Very hard trying to look innocent when you have no children. Hopefully the neighbor did not see what I was doing.

I had never been in this park before, but I know that master chrisandmum had been many times with his caregiver. So it was nice to be able to see somewhere that was familiar to him but not me and do some exploring.

As we arrived at the park and surveyed the surrounds, we spotted the most likely place where a cache would be hidden, but the GPS on our phones was not putting us anywhere near it. So we spent a good 10 minutes fruitlessly searching around near where we were being told GZ was but to no avail.

Finally, I said that I was just going to go and check out the most likely place, and you know what? Bingo, it **was** there. So we were able to sign the log and replace the cache. Just in time too, as as we started walking towards the car, two muggles turned up , but luckily they were distracted by the little black cat as it roamed around in another part of the reserve.

I used to come and play here as a child, so it was great visiting this little park. Master 7 also used to come to this park with his caregiver as a preschooler. The playground is nowhere near as good as it used to be, but the little guy had fun anyway especially exploring down in the gully area.

GPS on the phone had us totally in the wrong place and after some searching and reading of other logs decided we needed to put on our geocaching brains - where is the best place to hide a cache here. And within a minute we had the cache in hand.

TFTC Smile

Needed a find to fill in a dot day on our calendar matrix, so this cache was on our radar. No idea what the hint meant, but our geocaching senses kicked in, and we soon had the cache in hand. We reminisced about another cache we found here, but looks like it has gone, so hope this one sticks around! Thanks for the hide. Smile

13-Jul-15
Had a few minutes spare between appointments today, so I thought I would give this one a go again. I tried a few months back, but there were too many kids in the park.

Approached GZ, decided to look at hint, but it got me confused....so I just used my Geopowers and found the cache in the first place I looked.

Never knew this park was here or this little walkway....thanks Smile

05-Jul-15
No idea on what the hint means, even as im logging this find but it didnt matter as the cache was quickly spotted. Rather slippery around GZ at the moment, TFTC! Big Grin

Out and about after work this afternoon for a spot of caching fun on the way home. I parked up and made the short walk to GZ. I remember finding a cache in this park years ago now. Anyway, nice quick find in the first place I checked. Cheers for the cache placement!

27-Apr-15
Spotted a gap in the rain radar early, so shoes on & out the door heading for this cache. Checked a few spots before finding the cache. Continued walking until the horizon was no longer visible. Turned & headed home only getting a tad drenched. TFTC Big Grin

21-Apr-15
A quick trip and a quick find at the CO's other new cache meant I had time for "just one more". My luck continued here with another quick trip and a quick find in the first place I looked while I waited for my phone to catch up with me. Another FTF! Inside of the container was quite damp already, but the logbook was safe and dry in its bag. Cool little walkway into the park from Vincent Street. Thank Apple Smash, Sonic Boom and whafarr for the fun lunch time excursion! Back to work now!
