Not easy to retrieve but we did it! Found by Mr HRH54 & extracted by Mr Juju54 TFTC

Walked 6km for this one, spent 20 min searching with 2As -no luck today

A planned trip north with a mate and his family, sees us checking out some of our great countryside. We got in some camping and in some not so usual spots. It has been fun and the best part is I get to cache in places I do not usually get to visit.

Today we are on the move again and heading towards Mackay. I wanted to be in MacKay for the morning event on the 8th. Ok this is for a challenge and it is the last date I need for this one so the nerd in me says it is important, lol.
On the way up there are just a few I wanted to stop at and a couple are ones I have passed before and said I will get it next time. Today was the next time and Clairview is on the list. Lol.

This one was an easy find thanks.

Day 15 of the road trip to Townsville with LuckyL10n and today was day 2 of the drive back to Canberra.

After an overnight stop at the Koulama pub and then leaving early, the plan was to reach Bundaberg...which we managed. We stopped off to find a few caches in each county along the way to tick that box off our to do list.

This cache was one of those caches...with the cache found without issue and our names were soon in the log book. Cache is all good.

#14244; Day fifteen of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune. After a night in Koumala, we headed south, destination Bundaberg, collecting caches in the various counties as we travelled along the Bruce Highway. All were found in good order, unless mentioned in the log. Logs were signed L.L10n & Sdl or vice versa. Apologies for the largely generic logs. TFTC Nedandmrskelly

The Windmill near GZ was really spinning in the breeze today. Hopefully some good water being pumped there.
We searched, and then widened our area a little and soon had this one signed.

After finding a nearby cache, I headed to this one. A quick find and sign and I was on my way again. TFTC

In the area today as I head north and picking up caches along the way and this was one of them. Started at Marlborough Rd and did the loop finishing at St Lawrence and then back to camp at Marlborough. A great adventure!

On the second leg of a GC trip with Drennostar on our way to a wedding.
A relatively quick find - the trickiest part was extracting the cache from its hiding place. Lucky we had a TOOT! TFTC!

On our way home from our TL21 four day caching tour heading back to the Burdekin from Yeppoon. Amazing what is on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. This is our third for the day TFTC

Had a 1 night stopover at the free camp near Marborough so I went out in the morning to find this and a few other Marlborough series caches. This was one I found before moving on up the old Marlborough stretch. TFTC

On my way to Barcaldine for QOGM 2018 . Left Nanango at 0225 and this was the next stop of the day. Good quick find. Going to Rockhampton to meet up with RoddyC and Mrs RoddyC some time this afternoon then heading to QOGM 2018 via the coast and across to Clermont. Signed log YOF as that is what I use on small and Micro log sheets/books to save space on the paper as I tend to write on the big side. Apologies for boiler plate logs as I have a lot to write up. We are heading to Barcaldine to attend the event and detoured a couple of hundred kms to do this loop of caches. Varied scenery and hides made it an intersting day. We left Yaamba at 12 noon and got back at 6.30pm. It was a bit of a rush towards the end as we could see we would run out of day light. Thankyou Nedandmrskelly for placement of this cache series and adding to our enjoyment of the area

A Bull there waiting for us. Ok, not for us but a woman stopped and told that she found him on a wrong paddock and put him in there for being picked up later.

So we were limited in searching for the cache and had to leave this one for next time.

Anyway, an awesome trail with beautiful views along the way.

This cache hide was too good for me today and as a result, I earned an for this cache. The sun was starting to set and I still had a long way to go before reaching Townsville. We stopped at the camp spot here to do the Marlborough Road series & a few others on the way.
This was a great country drive & as we entered the mountainance region the scenery was quiet spectacular.
