Cache looked a little brittle but was still good and just outside a small burnt patch. Thanks for another cache,
We had a great day finding caches along this road and this is one we found. All good with the cache, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Nedandmrskelly for another one on our drive.
On the road again, heading to Brisbane then Charleville for Qogm. Did your Marlborough 12 today. 16 August 2022 12:49 pm Tyfc Nedandmrskelly total caches now 5080 .
Easy find, 1st one we could get reception on after joining the road at Duaringa apix rd.
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 113. Lotus Creek to Marlborough. I got moving fairly quickly to get the twenty or so army caches I had left to do today before leaving Lotus Creek. That all went smoothly, and then I returned to the Marlborough series. That is a bit up and down these days. I saw some very interesting caches and a few odd locations. I then settled into the Marlborough pub caravan park for a quiet afternoon and a dinner in the pub.
A nice simple roadside cache to keep things moving along.
Thanks for the cache Nedandmrskelly

On the second leg of a GC trip with Drennostar on our way to a wedding. On our way to Sarina via the back roads.
The cache was lying on the ground when we arrived so we re-hid it at the GZ.

On our way home from our TL21 four day caching tour heading back to the Burdekin from Yeppoon. Amazing what is on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Amazing cactus on side of the road TFTC
TFTC smile 8244 out and about with miss Millie geo dog having a great time on our way home after having Christmas and New Year with 84 year old sister, detour to Middlemount to go to Emerald

Tftc NedandmrsKelly, driving from Marlborough to Croydon collecting this series. Broken bits found, replaced container
Found by Mary and David at 13:50. The country is changing at every cache. Just so beautiful to be off the main highway and way out here. Our thanks to Nedandmrskelly.
Decided to go south along the Marlborough stretch to bag a few more caches along the way. TFTC.
On my way to Barcaldine for QOGM 2018 . Left Nanango at 0225 and this was the next stop of the day. Good quick find. Going to Rockhampton to meet up with RoddyC and Mrs RoddyC some time this afternoon then heading to QOGM 2018 via the coast and across to Clermont. Signed log YOF as that is what I use on small and Micro log sheets/books to save space on the paper as I tend to write on the big side. Apologies for boiler plate logs as I have a lot to write up. TFTC Nedandmrskelly
We are heading to Barcaldine to attend the event and detoured a couple of hundred kms to do this loop of caches. Varied scenery and hides made it an intersting day. We left Yaamba at 12 noon and got back at 6.30pm. It was a bit of a rush towards the end as we could see we would run out of day light. Thankyou Nedandmrskelly for placement of this cache series and adding to our enjoyment of the area
We came across your cache, Nedandmrskelly, on our way with youngoldfella, caching towards this year's QOGM in Barcaldine.
Nice quick find. Really.
Log signed and cache replaced at 10:14 AM on September 18, 2018. TFTC.

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
Omgosh nearly had a heart attack... thought there was a baby black snake in the cache turns out it was just a swappable zip/cord thing
Another quick trip to Rocky
Had some time to kill on the way home ...
So decided to take the detour to the old highway
and grab a few more caches in this series along the way.
All good here
Thanks for the cache.

Heading north for a week of sailing and relaxing in the Whitsundays for our 30th anniversary. Of course we had to cache along the way.
On our way home after a fantastic week on "Lazyitis" and some wind, rain and thunderstorms.
Cheers

Road Trip Day 3: Rockhampton to Mackay. I was not going to be able to do all caches along this road, so I mostly stopped for ones where it looked like I would not have to go through long grass (or rubbish...). Some interesting hides along here. TFTCs Nedandmrskelly.
I'm slowly getting closer to Marlborough
Here I stopped for another entertaining scratch around the roadside scenery

Heading from Byfield towards Mackay for our next house sit, picking up a few caches on the way. Mr D made the find. Thanks Nedandmrskelly
Had a very enjoyable, at time geo challenging afternoon along this road find ( and sometimes DNF) caches along the way. What beautiful country this is.
Having spent what seemed like hours on the Internet organising and downloading PQs for this area, it was great to get out on the caching trail again today. (I had forgotten to tell Little Red Riding Hood, aka my GPSr, about the caches along yesterday's route! ) We camped down on the Isaac River overnight and set off about 8:30 this morning to head to Dululu on the back roads as far as possible.
Read the hint for this one, and it was a very quick find. Soon had log in hand, signed and returned to its hidey hole. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches Nedandmrskelly. They certainly add interest to our travels. TNLN SL TFTC

Out on the road trip with the crew from Mackay. Great day finding some very interesting caches. Apologies for the repeated logs, but there were so many finds today.
An alternate road with a string of caches
Very little traffic and plenty of parking made this a pleasant alternative to the Bruce hwy.
Many of the caches where creative, most with excellent coordinates, another plus for this route.
Sorry about the copy-paste logs
Thanks for the cache

A cache trail is all the incentive we needed to bounce along this neglected road on our way home. A simple pick and sign.

Gotcha !!! Found all 17 in the series today. Great to see new ones in an area that was bare. A fav point from me for each of them. Many different styles of hide. TFTC
