Thanks so much for maintaining and creating this hide GH6710. This area was popular with walkers.
Managed to squeeze my motorhome into the parking area at the end of the road here, nice quick find before heading off on foot for a couple more, TFTC
**20,066**A nice quick find on our trip around the area. What a lovely day, we have had. The weather has been great and we even managed a swim. TFTC
About 8m from GZ.... but in a logical place.Found just as cyclists appeared above
I had a bad feeling about this cache as it hadn't been found for so long. The owner had replaced it, but over six months ago; surely somebody would have tried to look forit in this easy to get to location.
However, I found if fairly quickly although there were a few potential places to search as my GPSr didn't seem to quite agree with the published coordinates. With it being such a nice location to visit on a pleasant day, I decided to walk along to see if I could find another cache.

Wouldn't class this one as easy! Very overgrown area. Very obvious geotrails where ppl have looked but perhaps not logged. GPS confused.
Still stuck in Blenheim so trying to make the most of it. Hired a bike so that I could go a bit further out of town and collect some more smileys. Started with the cycle track up to Spring Creek. Happy to find this one as it’s a rather lonely fellow with few visitors. Although the road ends you can continue by bike or on foot to the next two caches.
We were heading to Blenheim today to fulfil the current Mystery at the Museum souvenir challenge, just find thirty five caches to return the jewels to the vault. Well that is not likely to happen around Nelson with out some pretty hefty or long hill climbs, so Blenheim was our chosen destination. I had made a list of likely caches that we could find, only problem was I forgot to bring the list with us. So we just intended on driving around picking up any that were nearby.
We had just had a wee walk on the other side of the river so we thought we would come and look for the three over on this side of the river too.
This was an easy find in the first place we looked. I loved the smell of the gum trees nearby.
It was such a stunning day in Blenheim, a little bit of a breeze and plenty of warm sunshine.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Saw some "crop circles" in the nearby field and then with 5 sets of eyes was an easy find.
I had a bit of time to spare before the airshow at Omaka later this afternoon. It took me a few minutes to find this cache as I had to root my way through all the long rass that was hiding it - of course it was hidden in the last place that needed clearing. TFTC
On our bikes again in the searing heat. A bit overgrown here but all good. Thanks for the cache GH6710
We took some dogs for a walk with a friend, went past and down to the river. Grabbed this on the way back. Tftc.
A quick and easy find. Thanks
A weekend away, first this month!! Time to cache around a bit and then head home.
Thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

Quick find this afternoon with eltee291. Signed the log and replaced as found. Visiting from BC, Canada. Thanks for the cache!
Quickly found today with hingis20. In NZ from Victoria, BC, Canada visiting family in Blenheim for a while and geocaching. TFTC
I was wondering why is a track in the grass followed the fences. Didn't get an answer! Good one. Thanks.
Had an interesting day cleaning up unfound caches in the Picton and Port Underwood areas, there were some extremely good ones. Found this one very quickly, there was not a lot of places it could be. Signed log, TFTC
Out with Jo on another Sunday afternoon cache grab, this time around Spring creek and Wairau bar.

Great day for a river walk with the kids... Never knew this park was here!.... No pen so did not sign log.
There was a small camper - not self-contained - parked almost on top of gz but there was nobody around at all. TFTC
Isis58 and I were after caches that neither of us had found. This one didn't qualify but we thought it was on the way to another. It turned out we were wrong but it would have been silly not to grab the cache while we were passing. Thanks .
On a roadtrip with Just-Lookin & tmann421.
Logged as Princess-Emily, but updated to P-Emily.spygirl.

Out and about with Kiwimykl this afternoon adding a few local caches to my tally. KM has most of the ones targeted today which should have been to my advantage, however I didn't need his assistance for this QEF PnG.

Off on an adventure with B&W today. Time for a few of the "new" caches while on our way to Kaikoura.
We were trying to get to the new River Cache but came the wrong way.
Thankfully I was allowed to make this find since we were here!

Out and about having fun finding caches in the sun after your celebratory event today. TFTC #7682
Visiting mum in Spring Creek I thought I'd grab a couple of caches while out for a walk on a lovely sunny afternoon. Tftc
SoBad was happy to be the designated driver and leave Mrs to do any park and grabs. She was cautious enough to collect the cache uninjured having looked before she grabbed.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Collecting a few caches on my way to the Christchurch Mega.

Just putting your hands in the undergrowth without checking can be a prickly experience. While I licked my wounds Holymu extracted the cache. Thank you GH6710
We decided another trip to Marlborough was warranted to "do" some multi's which we had been ignoring. In the end though we still ignored them and opted for mainly Traditionals with a few Mystery ones as well.
We fortunately checked our GPS after finding the cache along the stopbank before we drove off again so it was a quick find in the end. Thank you GH6710.

After attending the event at the River Queen we had time to find a few caches before heading back over the hills and home. Last cache for us today. No problems here. TFTC, Biggles.
A fairly quick find at a somewhat messy location, but with a nice smell from the nearby gum trees. TFTC
[green] Out scouting for places to hide caches, but no luck (they are puzzle caches, can't just hide them anywhere, the place has to match the theme). I though he road to Robin Hood Bay might have some possibilities, but in the end I decided that that road is too dangerous - it has been raining solidly this morning, and the road looks quite slippery. So I came here to grab a cache on the way back. Day ten of a ten day streak, needed for my Masters of Geocaching Science. Not over yet, I have 3 more dot days to fill.
Missed the Seagnoid here this morning on a not often visited cache. Easy find tftc
#922. This site was not easy to get to in the heavy rain. Workman on the side of the road pretty much blocked my path but I managed to squeeze past on the wet verge. The cache itself was quickly found. I tried to keep moisture off the log while signing but the next person might pay to dab the logbook with a dry tissue. Sorry but it was just too wet today to go and check out the views from the stop bank. TFTC
I had a spare couple of hours this afternoon so decided to go and pick up some more caches in the Spring Creek/Wairau Bar area that I didn't have time to get yesterday.
I remember when this cache was released as I was doing an unofficial CITO at the Waikawa Marina with the CO. As I was tied up diving for trash in the marina most of the day, Raisinpig got first dibs on this.
As Kiwi Explorer said, a muggle tending a nearby fire didn't prove to be a problem because his fire caused a handy smoke screen, shielding any cachers from his eyes. The coordinate for this cache are about one fence post out, fortunately, the indicated fencepost is obviously not the hide so the cache is easily found.
I actually got here before KE and then went on to Flood Control and we met up on my return from there.

Quick find on caching trip in Blenheim with KE. Just placing cache back in place when noticed another person walking along the stop bank, luckily it was another cacher Kiwimykl. TFTC
A few caches in Blenheim with Kiwi Grandad today. Slowly making our way to Spring Creek in the oddest kind of zig zag ever seen. Muggles had a good smoky fire going in the paddock next door. Nice to meet Kiwimykl here who was just returning from another nearby cache.
Thanks GH6710 for the cache.

#9581. We've explored some of the riverside reserves in this area, but not this one. Quick find. TFTC.
We hadn't been along the stop bank here before. Parked outside the last property on the road, not realising there was a parking area just over the stop bank, but there was plenty of room where we parked.
By the time I sorted myself out and headed to GZ, StreetWalker had already found the cache so all I needed to do was sign the log book. I was about to return to the car, when he said we needed to carry on to another cache further on. TFTC.

Last time here, figured a cache would pop up here. Found and signed.
Thanks GH6710 for the cache.

What an interesting spot. Parked here, made the find and then headed off in search of a nearby cache. A lovely area - shame about the rubbish everywhere - perhaps it would be a good spot for a CITO event ... Anyway, away from the car about 40 mins and on return journey, just as the carpark came into sight and another vehicle pulled in and parked next to ours. Two young lads hopped out, looked around, pulled out a rugby ball and began passing. Next a van arrived - the boys skedaddled from the carpark skidding in the process - the van circled the carpark and then left. Very strange. Here's hoping they were innocently geocaching ... Loved exploring around here. Dropped off Geocoin. TFTC.
{FTF} - a roundabout way to pick up miss 16 from school... Had to give it a go...
Was a bit rough for the wee mini at the "car park" - lucky there wasn't too much mud - would hate to have got stuck and need to ring GH6710 for a tow - LOL

Had stayed trapped in my cabin for the last couple of evenings and cabin fever had struck, and hard. With a trip to the Manawatu this weekend I needed to go into town to get a couple of things for eradicating possums so took my trusty G P S along just in case I got tempted to 'go back' via Spring Creek (it's not really that much of a detour, honest)
Beaten to F T F honours by the irrepressible raisinpig I had to settle for a silver medal, and a yellow smiley. Have been down this way for another cache before and eyed the river longingly though no good with nil fishing gear in the car (poor planning)
T F T C G H 6 7 1 0 and keep them coming thick and fast. I placed another on the way home (by on the way home I mean on a detour 'home', is there any other way to go)
