Well this one was a bit of a challenge. We battled the blackberry and gorse (somewhat unnecessarily) and eventually found it. TFTC
Almost spent too long convinced it was somehow camod in what seems an obvious red herring before actual cache caught my eye. TFTC!
Was a bit worried when faced with all the blackberry bushes, but found cache without getting scratched much. Tftc.
Out for a walk after a medical appointment. cache found and some scratches gained from the gorse and blackberries. The cache all good now bearing my username on the log. Thanks for placing this cache Shamus1

Found on a short Vic trip with MrsRoosta. Another quick find and off again. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cachefor all of us to find, Shamus1, ***Roostaman***
This is the first of this series that I have collected. Given its area on the map I waited for a weekend to get this one so that the area would be quiet. Approaching the GZ I quickly noticed something out of place but doubted the cache would be there, I was wrong. The cache was in fact there Cache collected, log signed and returned. TFTC
Out for a few caches after taking Mrs Cogs to her promised dinner/lunch when we reached our first hundred.
Little cogs tagged along which was nice and this cache was quickly located.

Out and about on a week away to Ballarat to clean up a few caches and attend an event.
The weather was freezing and drizzling but we still managed to find some good quality caches as we checked out the area.
This is one of the caches found today.
Thanks Shamus1 for the cache.

Quick easy find with the kids after 2 other unsuccessful caches. Empty container though. Found a couple of toys on the ground near by so put them in the container. No logbook. Needs maintenance.
Spending the day caching with AlexiKatty trying to stay on target for my milestone for the Wangaratta mega in January before we start building her next amazing hide. It's a nice sunny day and beautiful to be out hear again. Very happy to add this smile to my map.

Finishing off a day of Star Wars geocaching in the area, couldn’t miss a cache of my namesake, left a little bit of Star Wars for the next fan, thanks
MY 100th CACHE FIND!
Woohoo! A very quick and easy find, would be great for kids (just mind the highway!). Lots of goodies in there indeed. TFTC!

*Staying in Creswick for a few days*
Today I decided to head out and clear up some of the local series and a few scattered caches thrown in (as I passed them) for good measure... A beautiful time of year with all the trees in colour and everything lush and green... A lovely day to be out and about having most of the area to myself
A bit of a stroll, a bit of a search, made the find, stamped log and replaced again.
My sincerest thanks to Shamus1 for the cache. Appreciate your efforts.
**Warning**, *this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun*.

*Took*: Nothing
*Left*: Nothing
Cache on!

So after being up this way 2 weeks ago for the grand opening / launch of the brand spanking new Ballarat Geo Tour and managing to get FTF’s on all 4 of the ones I did, I noticed a few events on this weekend up this way and so being a long weekend I booked myself into a motel for 3 nights to hopefully finish it off and to attend the events on up here.
Left Melbourne after work and headed up the Western Fwy boy that Fwy can get busy and be very slow.
Turned off just after Ballan and took the back roads in instead.
After a busy Saturday finishing off the tour and finding quite a few other caches then Sunday with a very early start with a few events and CITO’s and of course few more caches and achieving 12 different cache types in day, Monday has arrived and it was time to head home but there is always time for a couple more.
After a weekend of brilliant weather I was greeted by rain in the morning more like the Ballarat that I know.
So after breakie the rain had stopped so I headed to find a few more caches.
After doing one of the lab caches, Ballarat decided to turn the rain back on so it was time to head home.
I was heading to the Fwy this way so a quick stop and dash so I didn’t get to wet.
I think this would be rather busy here during the week so it was good to look for this one on a Monday public holiday.
Yes I have seen all of the movies at least twice.
The last one for the weekend and thank you Ballarat for the fantastic long weekend of caching and catching up with friends.
Thanks Shamus1 TFTC.

Quick grab after work. The cache was exposed so I hid it with what was there thinking it's probably how it was hidden initially.
I have a confession: I have only seen the original trilogy back in the day!

Realised this cache was quite close to where I exited the freeway so a quick diversion was in order. A quick find once in the right street TFTC Shamus1
Introducing a family friend to caching and this was a nice easy find for a first cache!
This cache caught me eye on a bit of a random drive around
Easy parking,
nobody watching,
I think ??,
and the cache was soon in paw
TFTC.
How many more Darth's are there ??
Darth's in Star Wars are like Paddy's in Ireland [:o)]

Another quick find while the area was deserted on a Sunday. I would say during the week it would be full of muggles. TFTC.
TFTC. On a regular Thursday afternoon trip to Ballarat. A short detour off the route and this cache was in hand and signed.
Unfortunately, this was in plain sight when we arrived. After signing the log, we tucked it back in the closest hiding place. Thanks for the cache.

A quick stop off here! Cache is all good
Today was all about just caching around Ballarat and collecting a lot of the new caches that had been placed in the last few months. Despite the heaviness of the rain early to the middle of the day 40 finds were made and the 11,000th find was ticked off.
Thanks for the cache

I was on my way to one of Mclookers events and had a little time to spare so I thought another cache or two would help my statistics. This cache was in good condition and I left a few trinkets for the geokids. TFTC.
Found but unfortunately it was open and scattered all over the ground.
Put back together but unsure of original hiding spot

Quick find, unfortunately a muggle must have found it as it was open and everything was scattered on the ground. I put everything back in and tried to hide it as best as I could.
Quick and easy cache, once you time a break in the passing traffic. Lots of cool swaps too!
Whilst out on a drive to a Mothers Day lunch, thought we'd swing by and grab this one. Pulled up and grabbed this one, signed log and back in the car on the way! TFTC, TNLNSL
Happy St Patrick's Day from n0w0rries+Wife and our Geomutts, EveTheStaffy and MaxTheCollie.
Thanks for the regular cache Shamus1.

This is the second time we have visited this site, first time we were muggled out so this time we were glad to see the area nice and quiet.
Quick find and a couple of swaps made.

Great to find a cache larger than a small or micro for a change. Colour scheme blended in very well, too.

Last one for me today while l try collecting the last of the hidden creature's series
I arrived in Ballarat early for the two events, so decided to make a start on the Yarrowee Creek Trail. Nice quick find while nearing the CITO event.
Thanks to Shamus1 for the cache.

Spotted this one quite quickly. We are a big fan of the Star Wars movies. TFTC
Day 3 of my trip to Ballarat and the last full day here. I have decided that I will conduct some park and grabs around the place rather than just wander around a single point. This will allow me to see more laces in this beautiful place.
A quick find. TNLN. TFTC.

With a stupid o'clock start for a flash mob in Geelong, Ausfox;, Neville_devil and myself headed Ballarat and Creswick way in search of as many Regular size caches as we could find for the day. The things you do for challenge caches .
This one showed up in our searches and met the criteria for the day, so it was a short detour off the highway to make the quick grab.
With our names in the log book all was returned as found.
Thank you Shamus1 for another one in the Star Wars series

A quick detour on our way to Creswick where we were able to make a quick find.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Shamus1
