We were staying at Wilpena Pound campsite and drove out to grab some of the local hides. TFTC
Tftc, so Much history. We loved the welcoming ceremony last night and the story of Wilpena Pound x
First time in the Flinders Ranges, so we thought we'd climb up a nice tall one. The cache was an easy find, just to lull us into a false sense of ease. That continued for a couple of km until the path turned from a horizontal one into a closer to vertical one... a good hike all up. We continued round from the outside up to the peak then returned via the inside route.
Cache #2125. Second find today.
We decided to go to St Mary for Easter Holiday 2019. Today we arrived at Wilpena Pound Information Centre. Planned to hike to St Mary tomorrow, and today just tried Wangara Lookout Hike as warm up.
Walked pass this "starting point" cache, and quickly found the cache. Signed the log sheet, and put it back. Hope no one noticed me.
Thanks for the cache, jt_au.

Found during a shortish trip to Wilpena, Sacred Canyon and Willow Springs. Thanks for the cache jt_au!
Found on a hotter day in the Flinders rangers, Walking a small walk in the Wilpena Pound
Took a quick stroll after dinner while camping at Wilpena Pound, nice find.
Next time we’ll plan out trip during the cooler months, would love to do this hike/walk.

Erin1405 and I did a round trip from Alice Springs down South along the coast and ended up in Sydney. We had a marvellous time on this amazing continent viewing a lot of new and beautiful impressions. Of course we searced and found some caches just like that one. Thanks a lot for hiding and many greetings from Germany.
I found this cache together with B.F.Pierce during our wonderful vacation in Australia. We drove four weeks with a camper van through this amazing country from Alice Springs to Sydney. We enjoyed the great people, wildlife and countryside so much. Thank you for the great cache! Best regards from Germany!
On our two month travelling trip through Austrialia, we are enjoying all the wonderful places and scenery. We will stop on the way to visit some nice caches as well. This one we could find during our walk to the homestead.

Nice pick up as we were heading into the trail. Not to St Mary's Peak, though we like the Story that it is the head of the female Akurra.
We chose the gentler way to enter the Pound by exploring the Hill homestead and the Wangara lookouts.

Travelling in South Australia. We are from Victoria. Haven't geocached for a couple of years. Had a complete novice with us. Yay. We're hooked again
Found with a bit of searching! A fun weekend in the Flinders with [@Davidwazza](http://coord.info/PR61VZX)
Our second full day in the Flinders Ranges, and after leaving the geocaching group, jesswrigley and I had planned for some hiking around Wilpena Pound. The temperatures had cooled slightly from some overnight brief rain, and the wind provided a nice breeze to the day.
We actually had a bit of trouble finding this one, as we went to the obvious location, but torn between that and where the coordinates were trying to point to. We went back and forth a few times, and then eventually made this small find. OK cool, we were off from the start! Thanks.

A bit warm for a walk today so instead I just found this one at the start! One day I'll come back and do the walk...

Doing the tourist thing with Loopy1972, while staying at Wilpena Pound. We found this cache in our travels. Cache and log book both in good order. TFTC.
Arrived on the campground, we started with a relaxed walk to the Wangara lookout. At the cachesite we met a nice Aussie cacherfamily, which already found the box.
Thanks for hiding, redgecco

Found it ok with The Rydz Family. TNLN TFTC. And thanks to the German couple for the use of their pen.
TFTC, but I’m not doing the big walk today. The tent next to us walked at 3am to catch the sunrise on the summit - alas no sun!
Nice hide, GPS said my location was 100 m from the cache, arrived at the place, and it still said 100, looked at the hint, and that gave me a idea....
So I found it! Thanks for this cool cache!

In Wilpena to look around. A walk to the Homestead and a couple of caches on the way. TFTC
Found at 09:33 with Olga during a week looking around the Flinders Ranges. We were walking in to the old homestead, so grabbed this one on the way past.
The log was on the ground, with the container a few metres away, but we've tucked it back under the rocks.

This is what we came for - the climb to St. Mary's Peak. I had done it once before but that was over 40 years ago and a very distant memory of sunburn, dehydration and exhaustion. Today I was with Sal, (the better half or brisal), Anymules and Kiwi Aussie. Today we were well prepared with water, food and it was an overcast nineteen degrees and a great day for a hike.
So starting from the visitors center we made our way to here to where the big decision had to me made. Which way. [?] So while we made that decision we found this cache. I remember the last trip was the loop. Up the outside and return via the inside trail through the Pound. I wanted to go via that route again. We did. [^]
**Thanks jt_au for this cache. **

TFTC. Found at the start of our short walk - staying at Wilpena in the lovely glamping tents for our 20th Wedding Anniversary
Quick find on my first day here...heading to homestead hill. Maybe St Mary Peak tomorrow. TFTC
On our tour around the world we spent two days in the Flinders Range. Today we hiked up St Marys Peak. What a great experience despite the wind and rain! This box was an easy find at 0915. Many thanks to jt_au!
That was an easy find since it was in the middle on the way out in the open... I placed where I thought it would be right. TFTC!
The start of a bucket list moment for me and my partner PrincessBec, Spirits were high and the back pack was full of the goodies required to endure the next 21 odd km's, and what an adventure. wow wow wow awesome hike and an awesome view.
As crazy as it sounds I would do this walk again
