A short trip into Gippsland with the deadly treadly for some caches.I started in Traralgon on the TCT trail, then onto the TST trail. It was a lovely ride along this unexpected trail.Located most of the caches, but dipped out on a few. Thanks for the series, Robmc.
Out with Supaseeker and Shumba7 on the geoscooter, geoeuc and geoelectric bicycle. TFTC.
TFTC took out a newbie and got his first caches, supa seeker was on his pedal assist bicycle, Algae on his electric unicycle and me on my new electric scooter, we smashed out the series except 2 we wouldn’t find. Great morning out:-) ️
A quick fly by like a dragonfly
So today I had to take our camper trailer to Traralgon to get bike racks fitted before our trip away. A trip somewhere different equals geocache search in the area and discovered several options but chose the Traralgon South Trail. Off I went on my bike "Olive" who is a gravel bike and coped well with this track bar the last couple of geocaches in this series so we just walked a little. Great track and a comfortable distance. However couldn't believe how busy this road is - made it difficult at times to pick a free moment to retrieve and return cache. Loved the variation of caches and the joy of cruising on my bike. Thanks for setting up a really enjoyable geocaching experience valleycaching. I really enjoyed my afternoon

We first started this series back in January 2017 and it went well until a few DNFs and then my wife who was running the trail came back saying the trail was blocked off and we called it quits. Today was the first time I had time to really come back. After FTFs did help me find the time and inspiration to return. Clearly didn't do them order, or very efficiently, but pleased to have the whole series with smiley faces now.
Near the 4 km mark, but I think I've walked more than that now. Would be easier if I had wings like this cache Guardian.
Thanks for the cache valley caching

We love walking this track and still have so many caches to find along it! A beautiful sunny afternoon was begging to be walked in and my children were all over the finds today! We managed 6 on our walk much to their delight. We had found this one almost a year ago and forgot to log it. Thanks for this great series
The Sun had come out and living in Baw Baw shire we were not locked down so I decided to head out for a day out of the house and a nice walk along the TCT trail, Gippsland has some great locations to visit and lots of caches that have not been found in awhile, so with my new caching gear gloves, sanitizer and mask I ventured out, I had a great time touring around the area finding caches and exploring new places.
Thanks valleycaching for the cache.

A quick find in good condition. Looks like a big storm coming in. Sigh, more rain. Tftc
Saw the first other person on the trail, just before I ducked off it momentarily to grab this one. Co ords had me spot on. Not sure what the significance of the cache name is about, but TFTC.
Another beautiful day for a walk. Good opportunity to finish the series. TFTC
Passing by on the way to Tarra-Bulga and couldn't resist grabbing a few of the series, most were quick easy finds and a couple took a short search to find

Camped at Gormandale after returning from Tasmania. Out for a few caches today. Seventeenth for the day, quick find, cache and contents all good, good coordinates. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
I found this poor little cache on the ground, so I put it back where I think it was meant to go. And whose idea was it to start filling the log in from the wrong end? TFTC

After exploring some towns along the South Gippsland Highway, we turned north toward Traralgon and decided to pick up the caches in this series before heading home. Some took longer than others but all caches were found by mid to late afternoon after some nice walks. Thanks for the cache, and the series valleycaching.

Today, I headed down the highway to Traralgon to attend the Parkville event and now that the event is over, it was time to find a few more caches while I was in the area.
I had now headed South to see if I could complete the TST trail on my bike before having to head for home.
There are some tricky hides, some straight forward ones as well and then there were a few that I just could not see at all but I didn't have my correct glasses with me for cache searching which didn't help but in the end I didn't do too bad.

Our day to head out on the TST finally arrived. We organised ourselves by parking at the recommended places and then walking off in either direction to find the caches. It still meant quite a bit of backtracking and involved a lengthy walk, but it was a lovely day to be out in the area. Even saw an echidna, the biggest we have ever ween at the final cache!
We should have brought the deadly treddlies as this would have made the whole process much easier and it was a great day for a ride.
A good variety of hides and some bigger caches gave us the opportunity to drop off a number of Travel Bugs we had collected on our recent travels up north. Hope some other cachers are able to pick them up and move them on their way.
All in all a good, successful day out.

Out for a maintenance run today. All good here.

Continuing along this awesome trail, appreciating the variety and effort that has gone into creating and maintaining. Tfts Cute Tftc
*Staying in Traralgon for a couple of nights, we have enjoyed riding the trails, placed so close to town. TST - a variety of caches, hidden in a range of locations, a great ride for a couple of seniors - 28/30!*
A FP for weatherproofing and theme.
Thanks valleycaching (F=4 H=30) for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Our adventure along the TST was set to come to an end but not before we snatched another cache with the dying percentage of the phone. We managed to find this one. Nice camo.
Thanks, Silkyie.
Thanks, Silkyie.
frmen1 and I ran away from home for the weekend with the view to target this road and surrounds. We walked the 14kms (there and back), taking adequate water and food supplies with us. A great day for it. Spot on co-ordinates for a quick find. The double container keeps the log nice and dry. TFTC
We are on our regular Wednesday geocaching trip & today we are attempting to walk the TST both ways discovering all the caches on the way. Thanks to the CO's for setting up this well maintained trail.
We have given a Favourite listing to both the first & last caches in recognition of the trail as well as the odd worthy cache.

That is a cute container sitting resting amongst the trees here. I would have thought the outside container was waterproof but there is no harm in making sure!

One of our targets for this trip was to attempt the Traralgon South Trail . Despite adverse weather at times, we were able to walk the trail and found the majority of the caches.
This cache took about 10 minutes to locate because, for unknown reasons, both our GPS units were very erratic at this location. They would identify a GZ but then jump at least 10m to another location. The cache was finally found as we conducted a wide ranging search of the area. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks valleycaching for the cache and series.

While visiting Traralgon today to attend a BBQ event we picked up some local caches as well in the company of Alansee. Nicely themed. TFTC
Found with The Tritonz. In was a good day for cahing and we were enjoying this series, although parking spots were at a premium at times. We ended up walking from safe parking spots.
Despite the fact that our phones were playing up under the tree cover, this was a pretty quick and simple find. We liked the cache guardian. Thanks for the cache
Nice little find.......I have brought my halfblood sister for a walk on this wonderdul trail to complete more of the series. Tyftc.
We found this one laying on the ground unhidden, so replaced it where we thought it should be. Was aa nice easy find with Lilmissgeo. TFTC!
Must say the smell around this one was Almost off putting but a cache can't be left alone getting to go was easy and finding him was as well he was very out in the open I'd say something tried to eat it was replaced where it should of been with geodude#74 tftc
Checked and it is still comfortable and well concealed, ready for a visitor.
