A short trip into Gippsland with the deadly treadly for some caches.I started in Traralgon on the TCT trail, then onto the TST trail. It was a lovely ride along this unexpected trail.Located most of the caches, but dipped out on a few. Thanks for the series, Robmc.
Out with Supaseeker and Shumba7 on the geoscooter, geoeuc and geoelectric bicycle. TFTC.
TFTC took out a newbie and got his first caches, supa seeker was on his pedal assist bicycle, Algae on his electric unicycle and me on my new electric scooter, we smashed out the series except 2 we wouldn’t find. Great morning out:-) ️
Completed the last leg of this series today, still have some on the other end to grab. Beautiful area and a nice walk, TFTC.
Mozzies as big as this cache!
So today I had to take our camper trailer to Traralgon to get bike racks fitted before our trip away. A trip somewhere different equals geocache search in the area and discovered several options but chose the Traralgon South Trail. Off I went on my bike "Olive" who is a gravel bike and coped well with this track bar the last couple of geocaches in this series so we just walked a little. Great track and a comfortable distance. However couldn't believe how busy this road is - made it difficult at times to pick a free moment to retrieve and return cache. Loved the variation of caches and the joy of cruising on my bike. Thanks for setting up a really enjoyable geocaching experience valleycaching. I really enjoyed my afternoon

We first started this series back in January 2017 and it went well until a few DNFs and then my wife who was running the trail came back saying the trail was blocked off and we called it quits. Today was the first time I had time to really come back. After FTFs did help me find the time and inspiration to return. Clearly didn't do them in order, or very efficiently, but pleased to have the whole series with smiley faces now.
Nice quick find of new container.
Thanks for the cache valley caching

Finally got out to check on this one today. It had gone missing. Replaced with a regular, sturdy container. All good to go.
Happy hunting!

Will get to these final few caches in series soon.

Disabling until we can check on this after the recent storms and floods.
Currently travelling so will perform maintenance in October when we arrive home.

Nice and dry log this one, some of these caches you wonder if you should put your hand in there TFTC
It took a second look on the way back to find this one, should have been obvious the first time!! Out 'exercising' with the two geo-kids armed with the new caching additions of masks and sanitiser. Caching is keep us sane this year. Thanks for this one!
It was a little difficult and took some time and some serious scratches very fun and great way by painting the lid brown
The Sun had come out and living in Baw Baw shire we were not locked down so I decided to head out for a day out of the house and a nice walk along the TCT trail, Gippsland has some great locations to visit and lots of caches that have not been found in awhile, so with my new caching gear gloves, sanitizer and mask I ventured out, I had a great time touring around the area finding caches and exploring new places. Glad to report this was there but not where you would expect it to be, I flicked it out from where it was with a stick.
Thanks valleycaching for the cache.

Searched the area.
Didn't have much luck and put my hands in all sorts of places for this one.

Took a bit of searching but finally found it. Cache was in good condition. Tftc
was about to give up. gnarly stuff everywhere i looked. Walked up and down, had a bite to eat and that worked. Found IT.. TFTC
Given the name, and the hint, I thought I knew where it would be. But it wasn’t there, or if it was, I didn’t see it.
Camped at Gormandale after returning from Tasmania. Out for a few caches today. Twenty one for the day, quick find, cache and contents all good, good coordinates. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
Lesson: Never put your hand into a random hole in the ground when there's a much more likely place nearby. TFTC

After exploring some towns along the South Gippsland Highway, we turned north toward Traralgon and decided to pick up the caches in this series before heading home. Some took longer than others but all caches were found by mid to late afternoon after some nice walks. Thanks for the cache, and the series valleycaching.

This one wasn't that hard to find if I was looking properly, it just took me a while to find the right spot.
Today, I headed down the highway to Traralgon to attend the Parkville event and now that the event is over, it was time to find a few more caches while I was in the area.
I had now headed South to see if I could complete the TST trail on my bike before having to head for home.
There are some tricky hides, some straight forward ones as well and then there were a few that I just could not see at all but I didn't have my correct glasses with me for cache searching which didn't help but in the end I didn't do too bad.

Out for a maintenance run today. The container lid has been broken recently so we have replaced it.
A new waterproof log is in place.
Happy hunting.

Our day to head out on the TST finally arrived. We organised ourselves by parking at the recommended places and then walking off in either direction to find the caches. It still meant quite a bit of backtracking and involved a lengthy walk, but it was a lovely day to be out in the area. Even saw an echidna, the biggest we have ever ween at the final cache!
We should have brought the deadly treddlies as this would have made the whole process much easier and it was a great day for a ride.
A good variety of hides and some bigger caches gave us the opportunity to drop off a number of Travel Bugs we had collected on our recent travels up north. Hope some other cachers are able to pick them up and move them on their way.
All in all a good, successful day out.

Certainly getting a nice work out walking the trail. GeoD moving the car along so we dont have to double back. Awesome series thankypu for all you hard work. Tfts. This one had me searching for awhile, like the fact that this series makes you work for your smileys. The real trouble started when I found it, no way would the lid come off ...two broken nails later finally signed the log tftc
*Staying in Traralgon for a couple of nights, we have enjoyed riding the trails, placed so close to town. TST - a variety of caches, hidden in a range of locations, a great ride for a couple of seniors - 28/30!*
Thanks valleycaching for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

We attempted the TST series in November 2016 and managed to find all but five of the caches. As we were in the area today prior to our return to Tassie, we decided to look for the five caches again as we understood that each one had been replaced.
Accurate coordinates and an obvious hiding place led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks valleycaching for the cache and the series.

This one was tricky. Found with dianree and GEO kid Ms 8. Just lifted the right thing at the right time. TFTC
frmen1 and I ran away from home for the weekend with the view to target this road and surrounds. We walked the 14kms (there and back), taking adequate water and food supplies with us. A great day for it. frmen1 had this one before my gps settled. TFTC
We are on our regular Wednesday geocaching trip & today we are attempting to walk the TST both ways discovering all the caches on the way. Thanks to the CO's for setting up this well maintained trail.
We have given a Favourite listing to both the first & last caches in recognition of the trail as well as the odd worthy cache.
Definitely in place. A good hide.

Seeing the last few logs were DNFs, I was a little worried as I began searching that the muggles may have returned. I searched a few spots and was pleased as punched to find it and add my name to the clean fresh log, I even took a photo too!
Thanks to valleycaching for placing this cache.

Continuing the bike ride south,
I headed for #23
A poke around for five minutes produced no cache find,
or anything at all that I would consider Gnarly !! [:o]
There is a large area of disturbed ground at GZ,
next to the trail,
which suggested something had been dug out of the ground,
and taken away !! [:o]
Was it Gnarly they put through the shredder ??

While we are away the young muggles did play. Have replaced the container in a slightly more secluded location so the little visitors to the gnarly area are not so likely to find. Please replace carefully.
As we approached we spotted gnarly somewhat the worse for wear. We were disappointed to note that gnarly had lost a few of its characteristic features and hope that this was not due to over zealous geocachers. Unfortunately we were unable to locate the cache so no smilie for us.
This is the fourth time I've looked for this one! Please, may I have another hint? I must be missing something, it's driving me crazy. Due to a severe allergy to jumping jack ants, I can only get this one during winter, as in the summer months this particular cache is crawling with the little death bugs!
While visiting Traralgon today to attend a BBQ event we picked up some local caches as well in the company of Alansee. A nice easy one this time

Found with The Tritonz today. After a bit of a struggle on the last one, this one did not take too long.
Nearly missed this cache,
Nice hide
Jazz83 and the geo kids missed it after their first search, I rechecked and had the cache in hand.
