A quick find with the good co-ords. Have found a cache here previously, on the June LWE 2007...TNLNSL Thanks
After staying at the Kingston RV campground last night we proceeded towards Warrnambool, our goal for today. We made our lunch break just by the cache. So finding the Box was a must. And we did. Thanks a lot for this cache,Murkel,on tour with Mukel111. September 2024 13:40
We are travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are in Beautiful Mt Gambier for a few days, soaking up the amazing things this area has to offer. We especially love the bush, the back roads, and the wild southern seas. TFTC LNCU.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on. SA caching foray. Staying in Mount Gambier for a week to grab some of the local hides. Its been sixteen years since since we were last here so enjoying the re-visit. Love the country town caching. Thanks for the hideLNCU
Good morning Mount Gambier okay so I am an interstate truck driver that got to go to Adelaide for the first time yesterday from Goulburn and this morning I woke up in your beautiful little town I failed yesterday to pick up the geocaches that I looked for and this morning it took me a little while which it's Friday I'm gonna get home eventually back to Victoria Northeast corner the navigation was 6 m off for myself but through process of elimination I was not giving up today this is the first one in this lga so thank you very much to the hyder as I'm also going to find my way home today I attached to photo of an amazing sunrise
I hoped out of my car and spotted it right away! This one is very friendly, definitely bringing my mum and nan to it sometime! a tip from a local (me), the best pizza place in the limestone cost is down in Port MacDonnell called The Bay Pizzaria. Believe me, its worth the drive!
Shazzar66, AtTheLakeHouse and I flew from Brisbane to Adelaide to attend the Leap Day Mega. Our plan was to drive from Adelaide to Mt Gambier to find more of our targeted caches in the area, and then to drive to Melbourne Airport via Ballarat, as we had targets there too. Our caching list included Oldies, good or needed D/T caches, caches with high Favourite Point, geo-tour caches in Ballarat and several others that took our interest when we had extra time.Although this cache wasnt on our original list, we were driving past, and so stopped for the cache. It was Shazzar66 who made the find here. Cache was signed SADDLE Club, our team name during our trip. Thanks, hevwalker, for the cache.
#13324 - 4:50:00 PM; Day five of "The Great Leap Forward" road trip and it is time to head for home after a successful mission to South Australia. The day started with an event, where I delivered feathertop, who had accompanied me from Kaniva a couple of days ago, into the custody of GemmaSistema for the trip home. After the event, I headed north into Salisbury and on to Tea Tree Gully collecting a couple of caches in each as I passed through, then I set sail for Tailem Bend and on to KingstonSE, Robe, Millicent and Mt Gambier collecting some more caches, including this one. I then crossed into Victoria collecting caches in Dartmoor, Heywood and Tyrendarra before heading on to Port Fairy for tea and Warnambool to spend the night. All up I added eight more LGAs to the collection today! All caches were found in good order and where appropriate, were returned as found once the log was signed. Apologies for the largely generic logs TFTC hevwalker
We were in Adelaide for The Great Leap Forward (Mega-Event). After the event we made our way through to Mt Gambier, and cached a few random caches in the surrounding areas.I found your cache, FMWH...Mount Gambier today. This is my 2945 find.Having a girlie trip with Duppers and At The Lake House. Signed as Saddle club to save room in the logbook.hevwalker, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Find 4808 on March 2, 2024Day#5 on Fergzters trip to the Great Leap Forward Event. Today we began at Kingston SE and are heading in the general direction of home in Ballarat. Thankfully I don't need to be there until tomorrow. Spied another geocacher making the find and had to do a u turn to get it so. But by the time I got there they were gone. All is well with the cache. TFTC hevwalker
Find # 11432Well here it is, time for another MEGA, and an extra special one to. Its a leap year! So before the main event I decided Id head down to Millicent and surrounds to collect some geoart, and some of the all important (to me) SFE challenges Day 4 and with all the above achieved, time to move on from Millicent. Headed south to Mt Gambier then back up north, caching for counties, oldies, Jasmer gaps, and anything else my travels took me to along the way. Thanks hevwalker for FMWH...Mount Gambier

Loving your little journey home. Nice hide, tricky to grab and restash. TFTC hevwalker.

This is the final LGA required to get the challenge cache. It has been quite a journey.

Nice quick find with BraydsSA. Just took some minutes for the muggles to disappear. TFTC SL
Been looking forward to GeoVenture2020 Time to grab a few smileys. Heading south this morning for a few things in Mt Gambier. This was a nice easy find a sign. TFTC!
SL at 12:55pm. What a miserable day to cache with DarthVader69 and MuggleMasterKid7. Wet weather gear needed. Gotta fill in time while the car is getting serviced. Best part of this cache was getting up close with the curious but cautious cows and the worst part is waiting for the muggle traffic to pass! TFTC!
Took a little time out to study the map and read up on the history , just as I was doing that I heard a noise from the back and low and behold it was a heard of cows which Muggle junior 7 loved to see up close - Ended up finding this cache afterward we sat down with a bit of lunch
Noticed my cache had become dislodged from where it was meant to be so I have done some maintainance. Logbook is okay.
Almost didn’t find this one. Lesson learnt, don’t overthink things. Was in an obvious location, but didn’t look there first. TFTC!
A very hot sunday gave us some free time to go out and find a cache or two this one was surprisingly quick, spotted as we drove to GZ

This weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to the limestone coast / south-east for some sightseeing, mountain biking, and sinkhole diving. On Friday night, we stayed at Robe, seeing the famous obelisk the following morning. We then drove through Little Dip Conservation Park to Beachport, then Rendelsham, Hatherleigh, and staying in Millicent. On Sunday, we checked out Tantanoola and the Tantanoola Caves, mountain biked through Mount Gambier Forest and Browns Lake area, and finally on Monday, we dived Kilsby Sinkhole before driving back Telford Scrub Conservation Reserve and Penola. A great long weekend of sunny weather.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I started the day with a Millicent breakfast, and from there, we headed through Tantanoola, followed by a visit to Tantanoola Caves, which was a fantastic experience. We then unloaded the mountain bikes for a ride through Mount Gambier Forest completing the Honan Mint Trail. Our final stop of the day was Mount Gambier's caldera / Valley Lake area, mountain biking some of the trails there.
I had driven past here so many times during my visits to Mount Gambier, and so today, we finally made the stop at this little information area. It did take a little to find, as I was initially searching the wrong area, but once I realised where the coordinates were pointing, we made the find. The logbook was in good shape, but there is no lid to the container presently. Thanks [@hevwalker](http://coord.info/PRD46RP) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Still down in the south east for the "Used 2B a Geoventure" celebration weekend. Just one (hundred) more!!!
( Hopefully we'll be back for the real Geoventure when it's able to go ahead )
Teamed up with Sebastbat, and JEM we hit the trail again today and just found whatever came up on our map, some new, some old, all fun! The weather was definitely better today!!
Took a moment, but we soon had the cache in hand!
Thanks for placing and maintaining another great cache on this corner of our map hevwalker

Stay safe out there, caches and their hidey holes can be dirty and wet!
wash your hands, wipe down your cache gear, stay on this side of the border (it was tempting...)
sanitise, exercise, even wear a mask if hayfever season gets to you and
cache the countryside safely distanced at least a roo or an adult brown snake's length apart ! ! !
Have fun out there ! ! !

Decided to head out about town to make a few finds before the rain sets in. Very chilly today think the wind was coming straight from Antarctica.

We have come to Mt Gambier to have some work done on our caravan so of course we headed out to fine a few caches while we are here. Good parking and great co-ords make for a great cache. SL TFTC
The last Day in Millicent to clean up a few caches before Easter with BettyBoo3747.
Today we departed Millicent and headed to Ararat collecting caches along our route.
Some lovely photos of Mt Gambier here. Unfortunately, they don't say where they are taken!
A quick stop, and a short walk for the doggies.
Thanks, Robmc.

#17202. Today is a travelling day between Millicent and Ararat. Just picked up a few caches along the way. A nice stop here with some lovely photos of a waterfall but we couldn't work out where it was. A quick find by Robmc however, of the cache. Names added and we continued on our way.
Thanks hevwalker

After three months of traveling being back in the mount also meant, that Nick and I had to complete the railway track and surrounding Caches as it turned dark last time. First we had a look on the wrong side as the GPS wanted to trick us. But then there it was. Also learned a few more interesting things about Mount Gambier.
