TFTC Out hunting Smiles again. However could not sign log book as is was completely soaked after the recent rains. I have a photo to prove find if required.
The log is completely soaked, following some heavy rains. It may dry out but more tan likely it will require replacement
had forgotten to log this . found while attending the CITO hadnt been down this way before .One thing geocaching you can count on can take you to new places Thanks again Shamus
A quick dash across the field and I had my next instalment in the star wars series.
Thanks Shamus

Find # 2675 @ 1915 H
Found with Tyred n Cranky
After attending INTERVENING DAYS event and had found the caches around the Killarney Lakes we were heading for home, but a couple of stops were in order.
Its not often that Tyred n Cranky find caches without me but this was one that they had found on a previous trip to Ballarat. So before heading home they took me around to show me the one they got on there own.
This one may need to be checked as it had a bit of water in the cache making everything soggy and the log a little hard to sign.

found just before I was to do some late night shopping for last minute Christmas gifts. Quickly discovered and off to join the chaos of other shoppers.
Find No. 1144. Found at 3.50pm.
Heading home after being in Ballarat for the day, we decided to grab a couple of caches on the way and this was the first one of them. Went around the back streets, parked the car and only had a very short walk to grab this one. Mr Tyred n Cranky made the quick find.
Took smilie racket - Left cow.

Having parked off the Ring Road, I walked a little over 100m through the long grass to get to this one. On my way to GZ it became clear that I could have parked a little closer on one of the side streets but it didn't matter. Walking is good! Leaving my mother with the 2 children in the car, a quick find was made. I took a toy fire truck for my 3yo and left a smiling ping-pong racquet in return. Thanks for the cache and the Star Wars series Shamus1!
A lovely walk in the dark with the sister revealed the hiding spot of this cache.
We have certainly gotten our money's worth from this Star Wars series and we know more about the characters than we ever could have imagined.
Thanks to Shamus1 for placing this one here.

Out grabbing a few caches around this end of Ballarat. I parked and walked through the grass to this one getting lots of grass seeds in my socks. Cache found soon after arrival to GZ. TFTC Shamus1.
A nice quick find for us today. We love this series, thanks Shamus1. Picked up TB.
On the way home from Simpson Desert and a quick stop in Ballarat. Dropped off a TB

On the way home from our Simpson Deserrt trip. Almost 5,000 km to find this cache
This one has been sitting here waiting for me considering I work across the road from it. Probably about time I turned it into a smile tftc
Found it. Over from Perth thought I'd take the opportunity to find a cache...nice easy find
As i walked across the grass to this cache a ute came past between me and GZ and i thought I'd missed an opportunity to park and grab this one however after arriving at GZ and quickly finding the cache i noticed the sound of sirens getting closer. It seems there was some kind of car fire further down the reserve and the ute had been fire brigade support. I didn't stick around too long TFTC
While participating in the nearby CITO today, I received word that the cache had been replaced after it had gone missing. As I was collecting rubbish nearby I headed down to find and get the smiley for this cache.
Many thanks Shamus1 for placing this cache .

Picked up a cache on the way out after the event here today. A very productive day. Thanks heaps and it was nice to meet you Shamus1
Found by Mary & David at 1140. The final day of our caching holiday. Cached our way from Horsham to home. Seems the cache was missing last week when we passed through on our way back from SA. Heard from the CO at this morning's CITO that he had just replaced it, so we headed back to GZ after the CITO with a small group of cachers for a quick find. Our thanks to Shamus1.
Yes, we were there today and signed this log when leaving the CITO event along with a few other teams with the same idea in mind. Harrowang are staying with us this weekend and we're trying a few 'different' caches. Many thanks Shamus 1 for all the work you've put into it.
Collected today with a bunch of kids in tow at the nearby CITO. Many thanks for the cache
The weather started off looking shocking this morning, but by the time the CITO started it had moderated to just very cold. Bettyboo3747 and I travelled to Ballarat for both events and a few odd caches around the area.
We parked a distance away from where the skip for the CITO was, but it took us past this cache. There was no one home, so we went to collect some more rubbish.
Fortunately, during the event, this cache was replaced. We found it the second time
Thanks, Robmc.

# 8574. Robmc and I arrived in Ballarat yesterday to attend the two Events today. Although the weather was wet and miserable early on out at Lake Burrumbeet it turned into a pleasant day for picking up rubbish, attending Macca's and finding some caches.
This was a nice easy find whilst we were attending the CITO Event. Glad to see it was back in play by the time we got there.
Thanks Shamus1

Looked at this one a couple of times without success but as we were leaving the event found that the cache was AWOL but being replaced and a very easy find in the end. Thanks Shamus1
Like the throng of others, I too was able to make the find today. I grabbed this one after cleaning up the immediate area as part of the CITO. I haven't found many of the Star Wars caches, I better get crackin'!! TFTC Shamus1
Had a long look here too, but our luck seems to have run out. Our thanks anyway to Shamus1.
Staying a few days in Ballarat on our tour of Australia.
We stopped by here whilst visiting some shops.
Boy it is very cold here this week. Maximum of 8degrees. From Perth WA that is VERRRRYYYYY COLD. [8)]

Met up with Darth Briji and #GeoHulk for an assault on Ballarat. With 3 layers of clothing and a wind chill factor of about minus 3, we managed some great walks, lots of smilies and enough bison's in trees to last me a long time. A really great time with the boys and geodog Tess for company, A quick find by Darth Briji and another of this series crossed off. Thanks Shamus1
Only having a short amount of time I grabbed a few nearby caches.
Circled GZ then spotted the hide. Signed & replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Shamus1

Found on a chilly afternoon with Mrs Fergzter on a kid free afternoon. I decided to take the scenic route home and grab a couple of geocaches. Now my hands are numb for doing so as I was silly enough not to wear a jumper. Mrs Fergzter made the find as she was at a better angle to see it than me. Log stamped with our brand new geocaching stamp. Many thanks for the hide Shamus1. Now for a soggy and chilly wander through the mud back to the car. TNLNSL and TFTC!
Spent a good amount of time all over GZ. No dice possibly muggled? Or just not looking in right spot?
A nice quick an easy find while cleaning up the area.
Thanks for another Star Wars Cache Shamus1

TFTC. Staying at Pioneer Park Freedom Camp. After a day at the wheel and a foggy welcome to Ballarat it was a good chance to attempt a cache or two. This was a recent one ad we were here about a month ago.
We are not great Star Wars fans but it was interesting to read about the character . May even check out the movies.
Cache in good order and co-ords spot on.

Hmmm what's more important to me.. first to find or having caches in this neck of the woods to fill in my calendar? {FTF} of course thanks Shamus1 for another cache in the Star Wars series.
After being FTF on another Shamus 1 cache published at the same time. We made our way to GZ with ST37E. On arrival we found Wozzle 68 signing the log. Thanks for the hide Shamus 1.
