Sadly archiving this one as there are now signs up saying that the area is under surveillance and there appears to be a camera pointing towards GZ. Dont want any geocachers falling foul of the 99.
My first attempt at geocaching so I'm probably not clued up enough but I can't see anything magnetic near either of the poles. Oh well! I'll try something else!
Came while walking to mount Rogers. Check everywhere I thought it could be and couldnt find it. TFTC
#3 for the day and the halfway mark of my walk with [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0) . Arrived GZ and quickly had CIH after waiting for a passing muggle with dogs to be out of sight. Log signed and returned. Happen to have DVD in my collection about the double sunrise and return of restored Catalina, so this cache is a bonus TFTC
He wandered down the stairs and into the basement. The damp, musty smell of unuse hung in the air. A single, small window let in a glimmer of light, but this simply made the shadows in the basement deeper. He inhaled deeply and looked around at a mess that had been accumulating for over 25 years. He was positive that this was the place he wanted to live.
This is a nice easy one in a nice spot. I enjoyed my uphill walk and thr chance to stop off for this cache.
Thanks for the cache and the adventure. Signed DSD or Darksidedan or AB or Adventure Boys to save space in the logbook.
The cache was in good condition and the logbook had plenty of room however it was a little wet and moldy.
Please enjoy the random photos for entertainment only. The photos are not spoiler photos and they are not related to this cache.

Quick find on A very cold mid May day to fuel my caching addiction. TFTC
I've seen this type of container before so I spotted it immediately. TFTC
These hides are always a nice break from the usual bison tube. A nice little park and grab. TFTC
Woop woop. If I haven't made a mistake this is the last cache to complete the Canberra Mapping Challenge.
The cache itself has a bit of a problem as it's full of insect poop and some maggots.
I am currently sitting on the adjacent hill in the sun and letting it all set out a bit.

We were in the area, so we decided to swing by and pick this one up. Thank you for the cache
Out for a drive while it nice a quite and cool quick find and placed back where it belongs TFTC Boeing737
Crikey! A bit difficult not to look a little suss locating and signing this one... geopup taking a leak in bushes was the perfect alibi... very exposed but I think I managed to log it without being spotted... log might need a small snap lock bag for better waterproofing... TFTC!
Thanks.
I’m new at this game so note to self: Don’t read the other logs or it’ll be too easy!

Day 12: Clear Waters Mega Trip
Today is an event in the morning, more suburb collecting for the mapping challenge an event in the evening and picking up other desired odds and sods.
Thanks Boeing737 for being part of my Clear Waters adventure.

Another day around Canberra suburbs. A variety of interesting caches were found. Quick search shed light on the cache. TFTC!
Log replaced with waterproof paper. Please don’t leave at ground level, that’s why it’s getting so wet.
Found chasing a cache for the day. Needs a new log. Have not been up here before so good to find this and see a new part of ACT. TFTC
Nice fast find on this one. Nice to be meandering at the other end of the path after a DNF at the cache on the other end of the path. Took me awhile to navigate the log out of its super protective bag lol Tftc
Found it but needs a new log and bag. We put the little bit of paper in a long peace of plastic but it will need a proper bag
Took a little while to finally locate the cache containerin the scrub next to pole. No sign of the log though. I put a temporary emergency piece of paper into it and signed but CO might want to check on the cache.
Thank you Boeing737 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Chasing suburbs for the suburb challenge. TFTC in Flynn. This is the first Northern Suburb I’ve liked on my travels.
Taking advantage of the break in weather I've headed north to explore.
The cache was found quickly and is in good condition along a lovely walking path.

Our last find for today after making it to Canberra on our second day of our road trip. Headed up the hill after having a coffee with family and made the find after waiting for a muggle to move on. Great hide and TFTC Boeing737
Started out in the trees but eventually found it. My second of this type of cache. They are very clever. TFTC.
#2886 A quick find at 12:33pm. It was funny seeing this cache on a round post. No muggles in sight. Out to find a few caches on this sunny Aprils day as I cycle around the area. TFBMH Boeing737.
After an incredible break of a few years took our nephews out and found this. Thanks for the reason for a walk and treasure hunt.
