Logs
I had been looking to find this one for a while but with all the floods in the recent years just never quite got here- til today!!We searched over under over. Then over under over. This one took a while. But we were determined!! After reading past logs kept looking for clues with the graffiti - I dont know how I missed this bit. Hidden in plain sight - but there were many possibilities! Found with storyteller! Tftc!
Brought a torch. Eventually SurdiVisio and I found it, yes the area is cordoned off with asbestos & danger warning tapes. Weather damp so safe, although the water was flowing well down there. Thank you ani-del
Came to the area for lunch today with friends, and managed to make a few finds along the way.Cheers
Came from Perth WA with a couple of rowing mums to watch my son row at the National Rowing event in Penrith.Tftc.
After a message from SurdiVisio (thank you), I went to do a check on this cache. Recovered the newer container, placed new log in original container, removed second container and replaced original. Cache is definitely in place, accessible and ready to be found.
This was interesting. Not only one but two log rolls to discover. One pretty full, the other with most spaces available. Still handy for those keen to leave their written entry if they find the full-one cache somewhere down there.
Relatively a quick find after spotting the red graffiti. Council don’t seem to be looking after the pathway between parking waypoint to GZ.
Area has been closed off by council due flood damage. Wonder if cache was washed away as well? Topendteam TFTC
Saw the asbestos warning, looked a bit then turned tail deciding it may not be safe. Hopefully next time
With the help of a good light and my tall geo daughter we found the cache. Signed log and replaced as found.
Missed this one months ago, but the Mangions queen cachefinder for it in seconds. TFTC.
Finding it long problem. Reaching it. Another problem. Stick stick. Bit of water flowing through. Tftc
Well that was a bit like finding a needle in haystack. Went over the sides of tunnel quite a few times before eventually spotting it. What an awesome place. TFTC
facing my fears of snakes, entered into the unknown. with a bit of light was able to find TFTC
Very dark and smelt a little bit. Will have to try again soon. Thanks for placing it and hopefully I can find it. Also it would be very helpful if you could please check on your never smile cache as I would like to find that one as well. Thanks
Thanks zz_11

After spending ALOT of time looking I finally found it. A little light on the subject doesn't go astray.....
Yay found after my second dig at it, was looking for something a little bigger
Tricky tricky! Couldn’t find this one, didn’t want to taunt the spiders any longer.
All access ways are now back open.

Today feels like the first day of summer rather than spring having just arrived, beautiful and clear, already warm. You can feel the temperature rising already.
Council have this section of the lower River Walk closed today, the sign at the other end says for mulching so I'm enabling this cache in hope that this is a very short temporary closure. I'll check in over the next few days to see when council remove their barriers.

CO check... cache is not generally available at the moment due to Council works on the access pathway. I gained access and noted container is sadly gone. I will replace ASAP and enable cache again when Council restores access. Great to see Council taking action to remove invasive weeds from the riverbank, a pity it disturbs our caching adventures.
Hi ani-del,
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 45 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 45 days to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

Had a good look here but found nothing, and based on the past few logs, it seems we’re not alone.
I had a quick look but there were 3 people filming a video or something in the bushland in full view of GZ, I couldn't spot anything but need a more systematic approach.
What an amazing hide. Thanks for sharing this little oasis with us. Took us a while to find but we got there in the end.

Didn't want to spend too long as GPS was moving too much. Loved the secret garden. Only DNF for the day.
Out caching with a muggle friend who introduced me to Pokémon Go as I introduced him to caching.
This one took a bit of looking but found it after a methodical search with a torch. Glad I was with someone taller than me.

Awarding a favourite point.

Found it with geokid but not the best spot with young kids. Took a while to locate but success in the end. Tftc
I wouldn't normally stop for a micro, but this one intrigued me and I'm glad I did. Thankfully I spotted it fairly quick too.
Cheers for the hide!

A quick find while on our outing out west. We went over then under then up. Lucky we had EH as our TOTT. TFTC

A day trip west brought us to the river
Ev stopped at exactly the right spot for a quick find here.

Tftc - managed to grab this while on a mission to collect meds and supplies from hospital
With the geodog in tow, and a difficult issue I have with my fingers currently, I decided a photo will have to suffice for evidence. Sneaky!
Excellent spot for a cache. Was pretty relieved when I made the spot after a few minutes of searching. TFTC!
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Penrith for a short three day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Gateway Lifestyle Nepean Shores Holiday Park, and planning on exploring the areas around Penrith, Regentville, Jamisontown, Emu Plains, Lapstone, and Glenbrook. Will also be keeping an eye out for our final Hidden Creature, the World Turtle, whilst out on the caching trail. This was our 13th find of the day, and 62nd find of the holiday.
We returned to the riverbank pathway today to complete the "Down at the Edge" cache series that we had started doing on our first day of the holiday. Having only found CTTE#1 & CTTE#2 on that day, we were keen to complete the series today. Parked the geomobile in the same parking area as previously, then set off along the pathway to see how many we could find.
Taking a break from the CTTE series we next came to this cache. Luckily our caching bag contains a torch, but our GPSr was strangely uncooperative , and so we set to work scanning the entire feature like a search light. Eventually spotted the little fella and had CIH. Signed the log and then replaced as found. TFTC ani-del.

Wow that was tricky ! Definately needed the torch even in the daytime .... great hide
As usal T5 in abd T1 out. Maybe we should have read the descrition first lol. On in area we needed we thought oh dear we could be here awhile but alas something caught my eye and yep sneaky little bugger TFTC
Out on a chilly but sunny Sunday for a nice stroll along the River Walk. We spent a long time looking here and methodical was the secret in the end. It was a bit further in than our device indicated. Different kind of location and nice ‘hide’. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Out caching with oldmorty.
Had saved a DNF log for this, then went on to finish the CTTE series by alnic39.
Not liking DNF's, oldmorty and I read previous logs and decided to go back and give this another go. We took more notice of how far in we were and looked a little higher than our previous search. Some bolts looked a little newer than others. We tried to pull these out, but they wouldn't shift. Along a bit further there were more newer looking bolts. But no, they wouldn't shift either. Then I saw the cache. Just sitting there. Glad we went back as we are able to post a FOUND and not a DNF. TFTC ani-del

On our way home from a weekend in Blackheath, frazeydaze and I stopped off for a walk along the Nepean River and visit some caches. We initially gave up on this one and went away to read the logs and after doing so we returned to make a quick find. TFTC
Oh what a lovely day for geocaching today! crorose and myself walked along the footpath and stopped here and found the cache. TFTH
