This series was our target for today but of course we looked for and found others along the way as well. We found the 30 days of March that are still in play and collected some curious looks from passers-by but all good. TFTC and the series
Today out and about on 201 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
I have been eyeing off this trail for years but have kept putting it off as I thought the track might be difficult for my 2wd car. Id planned to tackle it by bike. But today I was making my way to Mannum Falls when I stopped at cache 1 to assess the track. It turns out that a 4wd is not required well not in the dry conditions I had today. So I set about completing the trail. My 2wd car fine and the trail was pretty quickly completed except for 1 DNF. A fun trail that is easy on the knees. Thank you 3LG, for placing OTD 1.3 March 1st for the geocaching community.# # #15141 # #
Our plan today is to cache our way to Murray Bridge and camp there however we didn't know that there is a public holiday on Monday and Murray Bridge is a popular getaway location for Adelaide folk. Our next plan was to try Mannum and we walked into the campground office just as a cancellation came through. Lucky for us. After putting up our tents we were back on the road for more caches. Paddle Chick and myself are heading to Murray Bridge area. Getting caches along the way and very hot today
Find 4741 on March 1, 2024Day#4 on Fergzters trip to the Great Leap Forward Event. Today we begin heading home but still 2 days of geocaching to be had. Sadly time doesn't permit me to collect all of this series but I will do this one. All is well with the cache. TFTC 3LG
Caching from Perth to Canberra via the Nullarbor. TFTC. Looks like an interesting series. Another day.
Staying a few days in Murray Bridge geocache travelling around SA. Saw this cute series so decided to head up to pretty Mannum and do it.
Lot of the logs are getting very full. Lots of familiar caching names.
Tyft series. Needed this one after the Wandering Heroes which was quite hard terrain wise.

Day 18 of our loop through Vic and SA then home.
Our last day together on this trip, we headed even further afield from Loxton. fitzy_1965, albida33 & I signed as MAF or FAM to save room.
Mannum was our target, along with two OTD series, some oldies and some nice D/T’s.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Southern Autumn adventure Day 19. Post Mega South East SA trip Day 13. For our last day of caching together, we had to look quite a far way off from Loxton. we ended up heading all the way to Mannum to visit two OTD series. Along the way there were several other aches to be found and importantly an Canberra Lab cache as well. Caching was with Fitzy_195, MinnieK and albida33 and logs were signed as F.A.M. or similar, It turned into quite a long late drive home but we have had a great few weeks caching during and after the Rutherglen event and I cannot wait to do it all again on even more South Australian cache series
After caching to Mannum and a lunch break, it was time to do another OTD series. I love that all the containers are the same so when you pull up it was either in this one or the next. The pipeline road was a real bonus on this busy highway.
Thanks for the cache LíB

Rutherglen Mega and South Australia Trip Day 18. Today we headed out early to get two of the On This Day series (November and March) plus the usual cherry-picking around Mannum and Palmer, before finishing up some Trads around Loxton that we have driven past far too many times ! We got to do the ferry ride at Swan Reach twice again which we always enjoy This was the next find of the day, and it was a quick find once at GZ. Signed, replaced, and then we headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks 3LG !!

Day nineteen of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Lovely weather today and the first day of traveling home.
Tanunda to Tailem Bend, via a few AdLabs, an OTD series, and a few trads.
Been a while since we have done an OTD series, today it was March.
Bumped along the maintenance track next to the pipeline and my passenger jumped whenever the car stopped. A nice little series.
Several are starting to get full logs and a couple need a bit of TLC. (BB will notate).
Thanks, Robmc.

#19420. Day 19 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. Sadly, we have now left the Barossa Valley and have made our way to Tailem Bend, making our way home slowly to Victoria. After last night's wild storm we awoke to a blue sky and sunshine - good for travelling.
We enjoyed doing this little series of nice easy finds. Such great containers - most still the original ones and in good condition. Perfect for their hiding place. However, after 6 or so years the ones with several log sheets are getting full and looking a little tired. At #3 I found a very weather beaten log book in the hiding place so container seems to have been missing for a while. #4 the log book is full and #1 has a recent film cannister with only one small piece of paper in it, that is getting full.
Thanks LíB

A quick easy find on an interesting drive along the pipeline. There were some interesting bits of art along the way and a nice track to cruise along collecting these. TFTC
Out cache ranging from Punyelroo with iluvtrekking on our last day in the area. Loving the rural road caching we much prefer. Thanks 3LG
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
A chilly, overcast day saw us enjoying the countryside while completing the OTD March series and any other caches along our route. Thanks for the cache 3LG.

Oh look! A track! I wonder if we could go up that? And so feathertop did.
Easiest caching we have had in the six days we have been on this trip.
feathertop had found other months in this series, but this was my introduction. Now I’m looking forward to doing more on another trip.
All caches signed as F’Top & C’Gran for feathertop and Cybergran V
Thank you so much for placing them here.

Started the series late in March after a day trip further north. All cache's in good shape. TFTC 3LG.
Hooray 31 days of March completed. This day happens to be our Wedding Anniversary 1969.
Found on a chilly day while staying at Palmer. First on our list today was this series tftc
Today we ended in Mannum for a 2 day detour so this afternoon with a little spare time we hit the first part of this trail. All caches were found easily and log books signed. Only a few spiderwebs to contend with along the way. TFTC
Out for a drive today , nothing better than caching with the pup on a gorgeous afternoon TYFTC
Got time today to log some caches from our found list. Cache in good order, replaced as found. Thanks to LIB for setting this run.TFTC
Found these quickly as geohubbie drove and I walked, jogged or jumped in and out of the car between caches. Great trail thanks for the excerise and the smilies. TFTC
Found on another beautiful day out with Shandyk. We signed the log as GuSh. Thanks for the series and TFTC. Number 10 appears on my computer but not my phone. Sorry that one was missed.
Found on another beautiful day out with Guzs Travellers. We have done this series previously so visited our travel bugs. TFTC
I’ve parked my car at March 1, and will walk up to March 12 today. On this day five years ago Hevwalker scored a motza of FTF’s. Wish I’d been around for this release!
All caches and logs in great condition. I can’t envisage an easier powertrail, thanks for series LíB.

Today with COVID-19 requirements still in effect, and with jesswrigley wanting a rest day at home, I decided to head up to the hills to do a couple of OTD series that hadn't been found for some time. These were the March OTD series, followed by the November OTD series, just around Mannum.
In addition, I stopped off at various locations to run along the trails and in reservations/parks to do some fitness. I enjoyed the journey out and about, and made stops in Charleston, around Tungkillo, Palmer, and Mannum. Mannum was a great little spot next to the river, and keen to return in the future to explore around here further.
It was a cloudy, coolish day that helped provide solo motivation at jumping in/out of the car so frequently.
This March OTD series has got to be the best solo power trail ever! Most of the caches I didn't even need to leave my car, and a few times needed to open my door to reach across. If only there were some special spray paint marks or something so you could drive quickly between caches, and then make an efficient stop at the right structure. Although I was driving from east from Adelaide towards Mannum, I decided to drive to 31/03, and head back along towards 1/03 so the driver's side was closest to the geocaches, and that strategy worked a gem (thanks to gridge98 for the suggestion).
This was a quick find whilst driving this series. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks 3LG aka. LíB for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Drove north west rrom Murry Bridge where I am stuck due to everybody friend COVID-19 And found the first 15 of the OTD 3 March series. Found a single cache west of Palmer then back to start the series. I soon realised that once you found 1 you have found them all. While I am standered in MB I have decided to ration my finds to around 10 a day until I get word I can travel again. All were easy finds and in good nick.
Oh Mrs Kookacrew remembers when colour television started, the first people she knew to get one were Uncle Bill and Auntie Winnie, these relatives seemed to rise in popularity somewhat, all family get togethers were at their house and all the kids would sit glued to the television. Wow how far technology has come. Mrs Kookacrews family was not part of the two-thirds of Australia that owned one by 1978, but it wasn't the constant asking and whinging for one, Mum and Dad always said there was better things to do than sit watching television in colour when there was nothing wrong with the one we had that was black and white.
Thanks LiB for the trip down memory lane and a cache. Great spot for the series, nice and well off the main road and safe. TNLNSL

Found the first and the last in the series. I found it difficult to get off the road in our motorhome in 100km traffic.

Over in SA, with Tyred n Cranky, for the Tour Down Under and as normal Mount Barker is our Home for the week.
Today is my big Geocaching Day, As Tyred n Cranky get on the bikes and ride the annual Community day bike ride.
Today I had to drop them off at Williamstown for their 7am start and pick them up at Murray Bridge when they cross the finish line. Hence I have a few hours up my sleeve for cacheing.
I had a few caches eyed off, a couple of small trails and even had some time to detour fro a couple of interesting icons on the map.
From Micros to large caches, all were included in today's agenda. With cooler weather than previous years it all made for an enjoyable day out n about.
