I solved this one and really enjoyed the puzzle. It made me think, not just Google. Unfortunately the reserve was closed for reforestation so I wasn’t able to locate the cache itself. Claimed as per suggestion by LAXA. Thanks for a fab mystery!

Had some sore time during my day and was able to come past and grab the find here.
Took a little bit to get the puzzle but once I noticed the pattern got close enough to make an educated guess to get the green light.
Cache was in good condition and was returned as found, TFTC.

Oh what a difference a day makes. Hot out but we were determined to return and hunt this down ... and we did .
A nice puzzle and a clever hide.
A favourite point from us!

Bit of cache blindness here which may or may not have anything to do with it being NYE last night

06-Aug-17
I made the most of the pleasant weather today to get out and about to find a few caches around Perth while on a holiday from SA. Solved this one prior to leaving Adelaide. A quick find.

Thanks LAXA for the puzzle and the cache.

22-Jun-17
I had looked at this puzzle when it was originally published but gave the usual glance over with no luck... When picking it up sometime later, the answer surprisingly came to me quite quickly Big Grin That was a while ago now, and it is only now that I have been in the area to find it!

Arrived at GZ & after jumping the fence I started to hunt... Although my GPS suggested I go further, I found the obvious object & hunted all over searching for ages & was nearly about to give up Surprised I think the barking dog nearby was putting me off, but I then sat & read the logs calmed down a bit & took my time to scour the object... A-HA you sneaky little cache, I found you Twisted

TFTC & the puzzle LAXA Cool

Solved the puzzle last night and was happy to find the cache in reasonable time today. Thanks very much!

23-Feb-17
One of a number of pre solved puzzles knowing we would be in the area. We parked close and a certain feature caught out eye. After a bit of looking the hide was soon spotted and the log extracted. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

04-Feb-17
I headed out for an early morning outing with the youngest geoson. After breakfast at McDonalds, we grabbed a few caches.

At GZ felt a bit weird on the wrong side of the fence, but it wasn't too long until the cache was in hand.

LAXA - SVKR_WA found your cache Basic on 4/2/17, 08:26. This is my find #1818 and find #2 today.

The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

28-Jan-17
This one took a couple of minutes to discover but I got it in the end Smile

I had a look through one of the filters on my geocaching app and saw that I had quite a few solved puzzles ready for collection Big Grin. I made it my mission to clear as many of them as I could before sitting down to solve too many more Smile. I had fun hopping from place to place grabbing these smilies and loved the effort in creating the puzzles [^].

LAXA - jinta29 found your cache Basic. This is my find #6250 and find #2 today. The cache is in good shape and I replaced it where I found it. Once again cheers for the puzzle and the hide LAXA!

10-Jan-17
Aha! Found it! Back again today for a second go. Yep, I need glasses. Very creakily hidden on the thing I'd thought I'd scoured last time. A fav point here for the puzzle; it was fantastic fun to solve. TFTC!

First cache hunt of 2017 is a DNF! LAXA I loved the puzzle it was great but I could not locate the cache itself.

Found Basic. Oh blimey! When it says a micro…it is really a micro! The cache is in City of Gosnells, Curlewis Reserve – A Community Bushland Rehabilitation Project. SL TFTH and puzzle LAXA.

24-Sep-16
Had looked at this puzzle on and off for a while and finally after an epiphany, managed to solve it. Locating it was tricky but had a young set of eyes who was on to it quickly. So happy to solve a puzzle without help. Tftc and the challenging puzzle., laxa.

Was here with m4yb before the big BD Event for Daddy LAXA. We were both looking at likely spots and I saw where it was but her fingers managed the retrieval.

Thans for this one and all your others in the area. Great work.

11-Sep-16
This cache has been on my solved list and today as we were heading to the CO's Birthday event, it came time to find it. We got to GZ and looked for a while before megawat60 was the one to make the find. Thanks for this puzzle and cache, LAXA!

27-Aug-16
Muggle had said we were heading to Perth to visit his parents but it wasn't until last night that he said which way we were going (which was around this way to get fuel up the road, when you have a 270l diesel tank it pays to look at fuelwatch)

When I looked at this one I was amazed I had solved it so that must have been a while ago as have solved a few others by the same CO Big Grin

I did a list of 7 caches to find and there were a couple I really wanted to do but the weather and time weren't on my side. I thought well at least I'm sure to get one smiley today Razz

Nuvi took us to this one no problems then it was just up to me to get over the fence, not an easy task when so short but managed just as the heavens opened Sad

As I wasn't patient enough to wait for GPS to settle it took me for a short walk around while the rain got heavier, finally arriving a minute later at GZ.
Hmmm this could be fun and I nearly called it quits for the comfort of a warm car but something caught my eye that looked 'out of place.' Oh look there is the cache. Smile
A quick sign and back to the car after another effort over the fence and getting wetter

Nearly a drive by after jumping the nearby fence. Container was well camo'd but geo-hubby spotted it when he stood at the right angle. Thanks LAXA

27-Apr-16
With the hubby back overseas he spends his spare time solving puzzles so i said to him to leave the MS ones for a couple of days and solve some local ones. He managed to solve this one so i headed back up here to find it. Co-ords were spot on but it took me a few minutes to find it and longer to get it out...TFTC LAXA

Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name

24-Apr-16
We are having a great time clearing up some of our solved puzzles in the area, but to tell you the truth I am exhausted now. We will not stop until Webbly WA makes her 800th find! Not too many to go though. Thanks for this one family LAXA

24-Apr-16
Next puzzle on the list Basic. This is the 6th LAXA puzzle for today and the 5th to find. Not one has disappointed me so far. Luckily for Clan-Wallace and myself this one was a nice easy basic find not far from our parking point as we are both truely shattered now. Only one more to go though and its a revist to hopefully correct our DNF from earlier in the day. All was well here. TFTC Team LAXA

15-Jan-16
I thought I had solved all the puzzles around here, but after pulling up and bounding towards GZ I soon realised that I was in the middle of an oval and hadn't solved it at all. Hmm... sat down in the car and had a quick look at the website on my phone. Oh yes, I remember briefly looking at this one and deciding it was too hard.

Let's see... this kind of makes sense, and then this would equal that, and that might equal this, so let's try these coords in the checker - Boom! Correct!! I couldn't believe that I just jagged the puzzle out in the field, so I rushed off to the final nearby.

I was having a chuckle because I'd just driven past here after finding another cache, and thought 'that's a good spot there should be one there' hahaha. After a bit of a search I came up with the goods and was happy to add my name to the log.

Thanks for the puzzle and the cache LAXA!

19-Oct-15
Was out and about with SpatialRiq for the day and this cache was another one on the list to hopefully make the find.

Parked up near GZ and after an obstacle were in to the hunt. Surprisingly it didnt take too long to spot.

Thanks for the cache and puzzle LAXA.

After doing the Mt Cooke series McFonz and I decided to focus on numerous puzzle caches we'd solved in the months and years gone by (I'm not down this way too often).

Not sure of the correct way to solve this one, but after a bit of trial and error the checker said yes on the second attempt. TFTC.

23-Aug-15
Made a detour on my way home to this area to seek out a few solved puzzles, this being one of them. Struggled with it for some time as I couldn't get any help from the hint, but finally found a glimmer of help from google. I played around with that for a while and eventually got the thumbs up from the checker.
The obvious spot at gz was searched and the tricky hide was soon found. Then it was back to the car as I had already lost my pen, even though this was the first cache for the day!
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache LAXA.
I have no hope at this stage of solving most of your others though!

Took the kids for a quick after-holiday check and can report it's all good and in place:)

21-Jun-15
Out with Mistraluna for a morning of caching.

Found the cache without problems. It took a while to solve the puzzle to get to GZ however.

Thanks LAXA for the cache.

Out and about today with Chwiliwr, grabbing a few caches in this neck of the woods. Couldn't leave this one behind. This one took a couple of rounds of the area, but find it we did - sneaky little sucker. Thanks for the puzzle and the smiley LAXA

09-Jun-15
Been fiddling around with this one and a couple of others on and off for the last couple of weeks. Had an RDO today so decided to give it a good old crack this morning. I'm not that good with colours so got the 12 yo muggle daughter to help me out before she went to school this morning.

Although I had previously spent considerable time going down the science route I was able to come up with some workable co-ords without delving into the subject matter this time and was pleased to get the tick of approval from the checker on the first go. (Hope the CO isn't disturbed too much by this)

After finding another puzzle cache by the same CO I headed around to GZ here. This one took a few minutes to locate and I had nearly given up when I spotted something. Dragged out the phone torch and voila there's the sneaky bugger. Lucky I had my kit bag with me because I definitely needed a tool to extract the cache.

Glad to cross these two off the list, now just one more to go. If I can ever figure it out that is. Smile

LAXA I found your cache at 2:08pm today, this was the 2nd of 2 finds for this session and brings my total find count to 1981. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Enjoyed this puzzle. Lovely sunny afternoon at the end of it was a bonus. Solved it using logic and didn't need to take the scientific route.

Quick find on a lovely day. I'll need a considerable improvement to my double twist so I can make the cut before I return to the area. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache LAXA.

*FTF* @ 10:00 a.m.
Noticed a few caches pop up this morning and made it my mission to find this one first. Cracked the coordinates within about 10 minutes and drove off about 2 hrs later to find. Had to hunt for a few minutes before the cache was uncovered. My first FTF. TFTC LAXA.
