Council has trimmed a lot of trees on this little stand - no idea why - but the cache has been mulched. Will post update when back in play if I can find a suitable spot !

Stopped off on my way back home from the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road Dural, to find this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, but now it was time to collect some more caches on the homeward journey. This was the 7th of 15 finds for the day.
This was my next cache stop, parking the geomobile on Balaka Drive, then walking through the reserve to reach GZ. Was initially concerned when I saw all of the freshly cut down trees very close to GZ, but then I spotted the boldly placed cache container, and it was then CIH. TNLNSL, then replaced as found. this is my 9th geocache. Everything is in good condition. it was a bit hard to get there because there was a birthday party. once we thought the cache was over here but then we moved left a little and then we found it. I found the geocache before I even started geocaching.
My forth cache for today as I explore Carlingford on foot.
I live how this one is in plain sight yet camo'd at the same time

I came down here with my muggle co-worker after finishing work at a property across the road from this cache.
I had been talking to him about Geocaching for a long while and today finally had the chance to show him a cache.
We walked over and the GPS had me about 10 metres behind the actual location.
In the end my muggle co-worker was the one that found the cache.
With a 'here it is', I doubled back to confirm that it was in fact the cache.
The cache container itself is all wet inside and the log itself was wet as well.
I've added a 'Needs maintenance' to this for this reason.
Thank you Old Man Emu for the hide.

I had to leave work to get a biopsy done and while I was out, I took advantage of finding a cache before heading back to work. No need to hurry these things. Nice quick find, however the log is super damp and falling apart. SL #3149 on streak day #1775 TFTC
Tftc, I had already found a few in the COs series but returned to North Rocks today with another cache in mind. Still had some time so headed over here. There was a mum and daughter muggle on the nearby swing but luckily they finished as I approached GZ. I spotted the cache on approach. I can't believe it hasn't been muggled since it is quite out in the open!
Two weeks in Australia for holidays with Kirdec.
Day 9. 38°C today, too hot for tourism, so we decided to do only cache in drive in the suburbs of Sydney, and only the one which can helped us to smile some challenges !
Multi, regular, some attractive words in title, ... plenty of reasons
Mostly, the caches were found without difficulty, thanks to all the owners for their work.
Greetings from France.

Having found the puzzle nearby we headed to this one as it had the highest of some very low D/T combos in the area. The GPSr circled and the hide was soon spotted. Surprised it does not get muggled. We completed the log book signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Thought that this one would take a while, must of had my good caching eyes on for a change TFTC

A great day to take the motorbike out of the garage and for a ride around North Rocks. This was my third and last for the day. Looks like a bit of work going on in the park, but not near GZ. Had the park all to myself and spotted the sneaky hide on approach.

Came all the way to north Sydney today to do some caching in a unknown area for me. Ended up doing some stuff of my wishlist and a lot of fun caches. Thanks for putting out all the caches and I surely will be back.

Time for a nice drive around the area doing some park & grabs. Nice quick find. it's in good condition. TFTC
This one was on our way home from a playdate with Geoson's friends so perfect opportunity to stop. The park was full of Muggles but no one was paying attention to us. Geoson made the find. No dice in the cache so I'm rolling one now for you ... it's a 6! I'll have to see if I can find some Neil Young songs to have a listen. SL, TNLN & TFTC.

Companions: None
Muggles: A mother and her young children nearby
Weather: Cool grey autumn morning
Cache condition: Good
I was in the area after a dental appointment, and decided to find a few caches to distract the numbness. I parked near the park and headed across. There was a mother and brood near the swings, so I confidently walked past until I got to GZ, and was glad that she seemed to be ignoring me. I soon saw the container, so retrieved the log, signed it, replaced everything, then returned to my car. TFTC

Easy find once at GZ I turn around and it was looking at me. I think it saw me before I saw it. TFTC. This one bring up #450 since 4th sept 2015.
Found it on a pleasant Saturday while walking the dog. Another quick find in a deserted park. TFTC
Today's geo-outing with Mumma-Kel brought us down the M1 to the North Rocks, an area that is home to a cluster of caches but one that neither of us has tackled other than the odd drive by find.
This was one that Mumma-Kel had done previously, so while I went in search of the booty, she stayed in the air conditioned comfort of the geo-mazda plotting where we would head next. Lots of possible hide locations in the area of GZ but luckily, I noticed something a bit odd in amongst the vegetation very quickly, and moments later, had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache Old Man Emu, and for the smiley.

Parked and walked up to GZ where the cache was quickly found. Maybe the rating is too high for this cache.
I've changed the contents of the cache to Bring Your Own Pen - generally a must these days with all the micros.
Nice day for a walk not many people around TFTC log still a bit wet found a spot to sign
Yay, searched with my sisters and found the nicely secured cache quite quickly, tftc
After lunch with friends, i did a Neil Young North Rocks tour. Young he is no more but the music lives!

#508 I have been here twice before both times there were people around so did a walk past without really looking. This time walked straight up to it, it was in plain sight as the natural cover had mostly gone. It was full of brown water. dried it out as best we could and signed the log. Thanks for the cache but it may need to be checked
There's no hiding this one. It was in plain sight. I hope it does not get muggled.
On my way to Moseley St, a little early so stop here, recalling there was a cache. At 7.15pm plenty of people around, playing basketball, on the swings, just sitting around or walking the dog. But made the find easily, surprised hasn't been muggled. TFTC.

There's a long highway in your mind
The spirit road that you must find
To get you home to peace again
Where you belong my love lost friend
When you're alone, you cheat yourself
You paint yourself in a dark, dark place
You get your shoes and get your hat
Get outta here, while you still can
There's nothin' right that you can say
You keep on talkin' anyway
And everyone seems to turn on you
There's nothin' right that you can ever do
Spirit road
Now you're on that long highway in your mind
The spirit road that you had to find
You're headed home to peace again
Where you belong my love lost friend
You stop to eat, you start to drink
But you don't stop and you don't think
You lost your keys, you're on your knees
You're on your back and lookin' up in the trees
And the night swirls for a little girl
A speck of dust in the giant world
There's a spirit road that you must find
A long highway in your mind
Spirit road

Where you belong my love lost friend
Don't feed that snake that turns on you
You starve it out, that's what you do
And it makes you lie, it makes you cheat
It steals your shoes and cuts your feet
The snake keeps feeding through the night
You lose your soul without a fight

You keep on talkin' anyway

Not a soul in sight this morning but time was at a premium so I thought OK 2 minutes and if I haven't found it I'll have to abandon the search for now but I found it in half the time thanks to good co-ords.
3rd find for the morning on the way to comp tennis.
Pity the tennis wasn't as successful as the cache hunting.

Nice quick & easy find! Had to sneak in & out to complete signing duties as muggles in school uniforms headed home for the weekend TFTC
Drove past this again last week but there were too many people around so didn't bother stopping. Today there were still a few people but not that close to GZ so I headed in and made a quick find. Not what I was expecting after finding the muggled bits previously. It does seem somewhat exposed but seems to be staying there this time. Thanks Old Man Emu. Nice to get rid of a DNF from the map.
Reperio at 0955.
Came down from Newcastle today to attend the Geocaching NSW AGM event nearby, and as traffic was very kind, I ended up having a bit of time to find a few caches before it started. Pulled up and soon spotted the cache.

Found fast after agm leaf moved so wasxjust hanging out there in the open ..covered up best we could
#3149- This was my last cache of seven in the area before bikerbuddy and I headed home to the mountains. I had been to this park at another time, finding a cache and being stopped by police thinking I as collecting or dropping off drugs in a nearby drain. Today however, thankfully this cache was in a better location and was another easy find. Thanks Old Man Emu- I think five out of the seven we did today were yours-much appreciated.
The WaywardWoman told me a story of meeting police while searching for another cache in this park. I figure that that cache is gone now and this has replaced it. It was an easy find, with a mere 'fig' leaf employed for the sake of cache modesty. Thanks
Nice one! It was kinda hard to hide well, but it should be good enough to keep the muggles away. TFTC!
Very easy TFTC. I feel as though it may get muggled.. Considering how easy and not much ciao was on it. Adventure-f0x put it back a bit better than how we found it. Anyway all good! Thanks again

I remember being 30m away for a previous hide years back. This one is completely different.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
It made sense that this one was muggled as it was hidden in a Liquid Amber tree that has fallen barren in winter. Today I went there to inspect and was looking for a new hide when SHAZZAM ! there it was in a great new spot with some added camo. Another cacher had re-hidden it for me in a great place just a few feet from original. The coordinates need a minor change and I'll update the hint as it is near a great new hint that is the title from a Neil Young song. Bonus.

Temp disable. I've been away in France and reports are it has been muggled. Will attend to in the next few days. Have fun caching.
I'm thinking it's been mugged this visit as I found a red dice and a AA battery on very trampled ground around a tree. Have put both items together at the base.
Found with Lyeba. She was looking at the logs and it said it was high so she looked up and there it was. Easy find
I was reading through logs and realised it had something to do with seasons and being hard to reach, so I looked up and saw it. XD
Rolled a 1 and (did someone take the coin, there was only a fake plastic one so me and Rayyan0 assigned one side as tails) head

After a days work in Parramatta, I was headed home, but decided to detour off the main drag for a few caches....in the fading light I pulled up at this and headed across the park....I narrowed in on GZ and...found the cache in plain sight - on the ground! I'm almost certain this was not where it was intended to be, but as I can't be sure of the exact location, when I was done I clipped it in place right near where I found it on the ground - but it may not be 'right' and the CO may wish to check.
We searched for some time where the GPSr took us, which seemed a logical place, but could not find the cache. I read some logs which suggested another location and we immediately spotted it, from a distance in plain sight. I think this one could be moved to a more secure location without the need to adjust the coordinates.
Thanks Old Man Emu.
Thanks Old Man Emu.
Found on the way back from Parramatta with Mr MR. We struggled at first but a read of the logs put us on the right track. The cache is now very exposed and we are concerned it may be muggled if it stays where it is. SL TFTC
I needed a quick fond today. Packing for a weekend of caving and canyoning took looney thani expected. So did finding this cache. I didn't see it until my second time around the area.
