Sadly it is time for this series to be put to bed. I had fun making the puzzles and putting the series out there all those years ago, and it was the first serious bit of geoart in Western Australia. The maintenance has been on thankless task though, so au revoir WAGB Arrow.
Sorry for the late log. I was away on a girls weekend with ICnothing, Kapelula and meme28. Thank goodness I was in good company of those who have much better success at nutting out puzzles. We worked as a team throughout the weekend and signed the log as KAMEINGT. Thanks to all for putting together the puzzles and hides.
Finally our girls weekend has arrived Kapelula, Meme28, Geotrekka and I C Nothing are heading south with four full days of caching to celebrate some birthdays and geo milestones. We have been puzzling like crazy in preparation so our aim is to find those caches and everything else that takes our fancy. Maybe even a challenge or two. Signed log as Kameingt.
It’s nice to be able to finally claim smileys for the puzzles we didn’t manage to collect at WAGB2018 . Thanks for the puzzle series!
Found whilst out on an extended weekend road trip to Busselton, Dunsborough and surrounds with I C Nothing, Meme28 and geotrakka. Signed log as KAMEINGT.

Hi there WA_Puzzler.
We found your cache **"WAGB Arrow 38"** at 9:14:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 23686).
We decided to clean up some of our DNF's in the WAGB Arrow today. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks and the scenery & found 5 caches today & DNF'd 1.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
Thank you WA_Puzzler for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Moved to Busso. Awaiting school hols to catch up with the family. Of course in the meantime we had to tackle a few caches or 3.

We headed out today to complete the very busy busso day challenge, this was the fourth type of cache off the list, previously solving this puzzle all that was left was to perform our signing duties, happy to say we came up trumps and walked away with a smilie TFTC
Finally back in the area to finish the rest of the Arrow. WAGB 2018 was a great weekend and we were able to finalise this series with pingu_k and The-Shredder. Thanks for all these nice caches and hides,

Finally we are back in the area to finish this series. Luckily no rain but heaps of mozzies. Completed the last 20 arrows in 2,5h, not too bad. Some took a little longer to find, some were quick park and grabs. Thanks for this great series, had a lot of fun solving and finding them. On the road with Skyryser and pingu_k. Tftc The-Shredder
Out with B12, L_68 and HHHedy finding this series.
Despite the overcast weather it was a nice morning out.
WAGB not far away now especially with the increased number of interstate finders around.

Day 3 of our Down south Week for WAGB 2018. Our morning was spent sorting out some arrows from the 2015 WAGB event.
Had a huge morning going from cache to cache and saw a number of other teams out there collecting caches in the countryside which was most enjoyable.
Nice to find them all so a special thanks to the CO for their recent maintenance run. Thanks.

Set out to find and sign the logs on the arrow series as we had solved the puzzles before coming down . Out and about with Lazarus we met up with Barnzy12 and Cravo10 to find the series together. We started at number 4 and basically went around clockwise. Most of the caches were found without any trouble however a few led us on a merry dance and took a while to find. While out caching we met up with a few other teams completing the series at the same time.
Solved this a very long time ago, but convenient to find whilst attending WA Goes BIG Event.
Out with hhheddy, Barnzy12 & Cravo10. Bumped into other teams visiting from interstate.
Thank you for this series!!

We have been trying since the first WA Goes Big event back in 2013 to attend one of these events and the stars haven't aligned to enable us to do that. All looked good for this year until a Airshow in Jamestown SA required Mr Crackers attendance and again it looked like we were going to be a no show.
Fortunately thanks to the kindness of maccamob who are to be chauffer's for Mrs Crackers for the next week were here looking forward to the weekend's festivities.
We had looked at solving these puzzles a couple of months ago and had slowly worked our way through them finding that some were easy to solve and others were not but in the end we had managed to sort them all out.
The decision was made to do this series today and we are happy to say that we managed to locate all 40, some were quick finds but quite a few of them had us searching for quite awhile
before we were able to add our names to the log.
Thanks for setting all these up and for the cache maintenance run which meant we had a very enjoyable time looking for these enjoying both the scenery and the wild flowers as we drove through the countryside.

Off to Busselton for a 2 day caching trip and the Arrow series in our sights. All puzzles solved over the last few months and hoping to track them down today.

Today was a beautiful day to be out caching, but also a great day for a bit of geocache maintenance. We packed up the car with all the necessaries and headed southwards, not realizing until down here that we'd left our printouts of the Arrow finals at home. Oh well, the trusty older Garmin still had all the gzs in its memory, so all good in the end. All of the caches were found safe and sound except for two, which have now been replaced. All the others have had a bit of a cleanup with new baggies and updated WA_Puzzler logbooks. Thanks to all of those cachers who have already solved and found the caches in this series and acknowledged in their online logs the effort that goes into creating, placing and maintaining all of them for others enjoyment. We will enjoy reading all the old paper logs that have been retrieved too. For those of you yet to solve the puzzles, please give us a yell if you want any guidance along the way.
Another difficult one solved
Spent ages with various idea thread which all lead to dead ends
Again in desperation resorted to PAF for a hint
Once I was heading in the right direction it was just a matter of decoding the clues
That was the easy part
It took 7 tries to get the green light from the checker as i had numbers wrong on in the wrong place, Ha Ha
Now I Just need to find some time to go log a find

When the first set of Arrow puzzles were released I managed to get most solved before the WA Goes Big event. The second batch took me a little longer.
Finally back in the area today. After spending the week with the family at Peppermint Beach I managed to get an early morning get away to attempt to find the remaining caches.
Alas of the 15 I searched for this morning I could only find 12.
Can hopefully return another day to get the last 3.
Interesting GZ. Wonder what was here in the past. Loved the 'camo'. TFTC

Over for the WAGB17 event and spending a few days in Busselton before heading up to Rockingham. Spent most of the day searching for the Arrow caches as well as admiring the beautiful countryside. Weather was great for caching also. Thanks West Oz Geocaching for this series.
Found while travelling in the area on a visit to WA from Adelaide. Unfortunately the weather was atrocious today, but I managed to get a few caches between the showers. This is an excellent puzzle series, and hopefully I can return sometime to complete it when the weather is better. Thanks West Oz Geocaching for the puzzle and the cache.
Made detour into arrow territory to find some caches which previously were DNFs for us. This cache was missing on our last visit so it's always nice to come back change a frown face to a smiley. Thanks West Oz Geocaching for the puzzle and placing the cache
After searching this exact spot and not finding it we searched deeper. Tftc
I was very happy to solve this puzzle (eventually) as i learned a new type of code which I have since used to solve another two similar puzzles. But this one took a while to find.... more than quite a while.... we searched GZ quite thoroughly (we thought) but after checking out a number of other possibilities, we returned to our initial hypothesis, dug deeper, and voila! There it was. TFTC
Apologies to those who solved the puzzle and looked for the cache which was in fact missing. It is back where it belongs now though and waiting to be found again.
Hi there West Oz Geocaching.
This is the 4th of 7 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 12:54:00 PM, but we just couldn't locate your cache. It's either not there, a very clever hide or we are just suffering from "cache blindness", so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

We drove in through the bush from TheBigCat Picnic to clean up the last of our outstanding Arrow caches. Imagine how disappointed we are to be logging a DNF. The puzzle had us "entertained" for quite a while so I suppose we can't complain, just say we will be back another day. Thanks to the puzzler, hider & maintainer, a great effort.
Unfortunately a dnf here today. After a large search we left empty handed. Loads of smashed glass around so maybe a muggle bunch found it.
Came down to Busselton with MNS13 (Birthday girl) and her 2 boys to tackle the Arrows.
Weather was rain and drizzle to start with but then fined up for the rest of the day.
Most were quick finds with a few more trickier hides.
Only 2 dnfs for the day so overall it was a great day.
Posts will be cut n paste unless something eventful happened.
Too bad we had to end the day with a DNF. Spent a short time frantically searching but I had to get the birthday girl home for birthday cake and that cake will always win

Out and about (FINALLY) with Skippy46 and the kids to do the arrow series.
It was a bit cold and grey when we started out, but we didnt get too wet.
We had a pretty good day, only 2 DNF's between us. Most caches we found with ease, a few took a little longer than expected.
Thanks for the series.
Where small containers were provided i left behind some tags for the next finders.

Did not expect to see what we did here...bro & I dashed off to find this cache whilst geosis went for a walk with the geokids to find another one..nearly time for lunch and a much-needed facilities break!
Good puzzle that had me as a math teacher shaking my head. How can one variable be equal to so many others? Nevertheless we soon worked out the solution and soon had cache in hand. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide!
Well, interesting cache to say the least. It was different than the others that we had seen so far. Great series, rain still not really setting in. TFTC
Continuing with our assault on our remaining 14 Arrow puzzles, left over from last year.
By the time we reached the last few, we had been joined by Clan Wallace and had a lot of fun finishing off the series.
Thanks for this puzzle and series, West Oz Geocaching.

Having solved all but 3 of the Arrow puzzles we decided to head south today for a serious Sioux attack! It was a pleasant day reaching 30 at its peak & we were satisfied with our haul although a few did manage to escape capture by employing diverse tactics such as hiding behind wasp nests. This means that there will have to be a follow up scouting party in the not too distant future. TFTC
My bad!! Have fallen so far behind in logging my finds - puzzles have taken over my life at the moment, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Came down for another maintenance run on the WAGB Arrow series, so happily am able to claim a smiley face for this one.
Headed out on a caching trip to Busselton with Roma308 and Mistraluna in order to grab some of the WAGB Arrow Mysteries and do some caching around Busselton itself. Unfortunately we didn't get them all solved in time so we have to return some other time to grab the remaining 8. However, it was a fantastic day out with friends and family!
Wow another new "code" learned. This one took some time to figure out what was needed to crack it as we hadn't seen one of these before. tftc sl tnln

When we left Busselton after the WA goes big event we left about half the arrow unfinished. Some were unsolved, some not found cause we had to abandon the search courtesy of two cranky children. We made a promise to ourselves that we would have solved all the arrow puzzles before we return to Busselton. We kept that promise! But just. With the live-in nannies, eh grandparents arriving for the school holidays, we made a booking in Busselton for a long weekend away. And just in time, we crack all the puzzles. Today, with the grandees taking good care of the children, we swung our butts on some push-bikes and off we went to sign those remaining logs. Unfortunate for us, but very good for our butts, we had to cycle the whole arrow as we were missing some pretty much all the way along. But 60 odd or so km later, we made it. Each and every single log now holds our name. Mind you, we must have been some sight. The locals driving to and from their farms stared at us in disbelieve, and so did the cattle. Most of the young ones did literately run away from us on our bikes. Anyway, between hearing and seeing the odd snake along the way, tons of rabbits hopping along, we found most of the caches pretty quickly. A couple had us looking a little while longer, one simply because we had placed our backpacks on top of the actual cache:)
We have thoroughly enjoyed this series, great variety of puzzles and hides. Thanks a lot for all the effort that has gone into creating and placing them.

The puzzles were solved in switzerland. and we found the caches here, thanks for this tour.
With the puzzles solved and in the gps, a team effort clocked up the smilies TFTC
I will never forget this cache, left the car and walked up the track,
How close was that - something moved and I ran, turned to see what it was, a rather interesting creature twisted and curled on the side of the track that I had startled, but it had slithered away by the time we walked back, only to get 20m further down the track to see another one stretched out across the track and this was 5.30pm, must of been warming itself on the warm sandy bit of the track.
Two different coloured species, definitely two different ones, not the same one slithering along.
That was more difficult to face those two challenge than the puzzles.
Thanks for the series. TFTC

The plan to tackle this area down south was hatched over a couple of weeks and along with Kyzabra, jinta29, KrabiBoy and Granett. I tagged along and had a ripper weekend picking up this geocache along with a large series nearby and this one, including many other caches in the area over a couple of days.
Please excuse the generic log, refer to Kyzabra, jinta29, KrabiBoy or Granetts logs for the days details.
I have a logging problem it has been 561 days since I found this cache or Or 1 year, 6 months, 14 days, sorry about that.
TFTC a great time was had by all, only 1 DNF all weekend.

Teamed up with Kyzabra, jinta29, KrabiBoy and AlliedOz to tackle the Holden series this morning and after some lunch at Bussleton we knocked off some 'Arrows' on the way back to our campsite at Ironstone Gully Falls. It was a great day with good friends interspersed with some spirited banter along the way.
This one took a couple of minutes to locate. AlliedOz apparently nearly stepped on snake here but we think it may have been a worm.
West Oz Geocaching I found your cache at 2:25pm, this was the 109th of 111 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2303. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

A fave point on this one .
Kyzabra, AlliedOz, Krabiboy and I had hatched a plan many moons ago to head away on a caching trip and this area fitted the bill for us! We met up with Granett on the Friday night too! We had a fantastic couple of nights away grabbing caches and telling yarns along the way. We met up with a few other cachers, roasted marshmallows and had an ale or two which was also good fun.
Apologies for the generic log and I will add favourite points to the ones I enjoyed the most.

This weekend away has been in the planning for some time. Jinta29, AlliedOZ, Krabiboy and I decided a trip south was in order and Granett was a late inclusion.
We camped the night prior at Ironstone and headed out today with the main goal of knocking over the Holden series then picking up some others in the area. This was one !!
Have had these solved for a while and what better excuse than a trip with the boys.

After spending the last few months puzzling over this series it was most rewarding to finally get down south and turn them into smiley faces. I had hoped to have them all solved but sadly there is still one on the drawing board.
Looked at this one many times and kept putting it back into the too hard basket. But eventually some light began to glimmer and then the solution began to shine brightly. I had done a similar puzzle previously but this one's different angle certainly confused me.
Thanks for the terrific series of puzzles, for the many and varied cache containers, and great tour through the back blocks of Busselton West Oz Geocaching.

I had not planned on grabbing this cache today but it was such a beautiful afternoon that I made a spur of the moment decision to take 'the kids' for a drive. Took a short cut through the back of Capel to Tutanup Road then on to gz. Quick find there and we were on our way home again. Thanks West Oz Geocaching.
Did a bunch of these "arrow" puzzles. I think some could be rated a bit higher in difficulty, but all very enjoyable. Now to see how many of the caches I can grab as I don't have long to do it.
Well I did notice something weird about the code from the start. Did some twists and turns and finally some good numbers started to appear.

I had not planned to do any of this series until I had solved them all but seeing as one of the still unfound ones was one that I had solved I decided fairly late in the day to come down and do all the ones that I had solved to day. I still have three to do. I arrived in the area after lunch and did a loop before heading off to do some of the holden series before returning home.
Found without problems once at GZ.
Thanks West Oz Geocaching for the cache and puzzle.

I solved this a while ago and picked it up today after attending an event in Bunbury with CrazyLadyLisa.
Nicely hidden and a very well constructed puzzle - something simple in disguise.
Thanks for another brain teaser and the cache.

Decided to do another trip down south with the geohubby to pick up some more caches. We didnt pick the best day to go as from the moment we left till we got home it didnt stop raining . We found all the caches but we didnt do as many as planned as we were soaking wet and decided to call it a day at 1.30pm. Most caches were found quickly and some were very creative. Well needed a cache to fill todays date on my calendar and since it was planned to be a sunny day I thought why not knock a few of these off my 'need to find list'
We put dog in car and headed down for the drive but my intention of getting a few out this way quickly turned sour when we got a call for muggle to work an overtime shift tonight.
I did suggest turning around and I'd find one closer to home but muggle said as long as we aren't too long we'll be fine
Got to GZ expanded area and left muggle and dog in one place while I went off on my own to find this cache, a lovely walk
Considering it's a micro I was surprised I found it in about a minute of being at GZ, it helps when gps settles quickly otherwise poor muggle would have needed to find me and help
Did signing duties and made my way back to the car
Thankyou so much Mr copwats for verifying my co-ords on this one. There have been a few times in the past I've had my sumcheck right but co-ords wrong, thankfully this time I didn't but it's nice to know that the brain had functioned correctly and I wasn't going on a wild goose chase
I owe you one
**Was more than disappointed (understatement) that NO DOGS attribute isn't on this cache and others around here when signs entering this area clearly state 1080 baits . A pre-warning would have been nice, considerate and thoughtful
