OCW Rodney1210. No joy. Checked both signs. Even used my phone’s camera as my eyes. Doesn’t look to be here anymore.
At a thought it was going to be in a couple of places. Gut feeling paid off.
Nice easy find.
Liked it though.

I managed to make this find quite quickly which was very fortunate as it was my Mum's birthday who was visiting from interstate & we were wanting to maximise our quality time with her so I couldn't afford for this one to take too long - but I really wanted to earn the International Geocaching Day Souvenir for 2017. TFTC
We're visiting from Tassie and spent a wonderful day caching with our good friend WRAACie. Managed 43 in total. TFTC
Parked the car on the opposite side of the road, and walked up to GZ where the cache was quickly located. Read the interesting information about the site before returning to the car and heading on to the next cache.
Upon arriving at GZ, was confused at first, but the cache location became amazingly obvious after a few seconds. Approached the zone, and after making sure there were zero nosy school kids around, grabbed the cache and scurried off to a nearby bench for the formalities. Log signed and cache resealed, all that was left was to replace it - doi, put it back the wrong way. Had to reset and rehide in the location (and orientation) I found it in. Thanks very much for the hide!
Found with my eldest son after visiting my brother (and his family) for the weekend. Made the slight detour to here as it is a rare placed date and the last one I need. Long grass did not stop us and we soon found the cache. Then it was a long drive back to Newcastle.
Thanks for the new placed date and the cache!

#3212 - Bit of a cycle after second day at new job to hunt for this impressive location. Many thanks to **Ali600** for establishing and maintaining this nimble cache.
I can't believe I was out geocaching on a day like today! Really, I was shopping for a new PVR, but what does one do when out anywhere...GEOCACHE. The newly downloaded Cachly was telling me to be at the fenceline, but logic said otherwise. Thanx to a good hint, the cache was found fairly quickly. TFTC
Found with Bec (wife) on way home from work.
Nice quick cache in the park.
Thanks!!

I parked on the street nearby and crossed over towards GZ. The hint immediately made sense so I began my search. My fingers didn't come across anything, but inspection from another angle revealed the cache. Nice hide, TFTC.

Had a spare morning today to pick up a couple of caches. TFTC quick find had to use a natural tool to retrieve.
Found it after a lengthy search. Coordinates had me 5m away, which confused me for a while, but the hint was enough to get me there.
Well I thought to myself I need a break from everything. So I packed my bags and headed out the door and headed for nsw/Canberra. And the goal was to find some caches along the way so here we are. Thanks for taking me to this location. TFTC.
After reading all the information available for this cache it was found in the only place that it would be possible to hide it. Once located and retrieved, it was necessary to go back to the geo vehicle to get a caching tool to enable the tight fitting log to be extracted. It was then duly signed and returned to be put back into place. Thank you Ali600 for drawing attention for the reason for this plantation of trees.

WOW!! 18 from 18 today.
A fabulous day of caching fun with Skyebomonkeytown and her Geoboyfriend TM, culminated this evening with this hide from my GeoDaughter #2. It didn't take long to discover the cache and Skyebomonkeytown (GeoDaughter #1) signed the log for both of us, (as she had done for all our cache finds today.) A happy snap was taken to send to the CO and we were soon heading for our respective homes. Thanks Ali for placing this one, a must to find. Sending hugs and kisses to you! You meet some fantastic people through this game! Cheers!

Well seeing as I was in the area out on a dkmacca caching day with GeoDad Calypso62 and geoboyfriend, there was no way we could not attempt my GeoSis's cache! So this was our last attempt of the day - attempt 18, and no DNFs so far. I must admit, I had previously seen a video by SeeMyShell so was pretty sure I knew where this one was, so I stood back and let C62 and geoboyfriend go in for the find, and they soon had it. With signing duties soon completed in the almost fresh log (the 18th cache I've signed today - that makes me happy) we took some photos and sent them to my lovely GeoSis before jumping back in our respective cars and parting ways. I really have some awesome people in my life - and three of them shared this experience with me, thanks guys (and gal).
Looked around the area for a while. This is the smallest geocache we have ever seen. Log "book" is full
Surprisingly spotted cache quite quickly, more so as the clue didn’t make sense till after I returned to the car and looked back at GZ.
Very interesting little spot and worth a read about why. Thanks for showing me this.
Out for a bit of shopping with Trodectus, stopped to find as passing by. Quick find with TOTT. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000 after visiting nearby shops. Arrived at GZ to see a muggle fixing a nearby fence. Tried to look inconspicuous. Eventually C made the find. Signed the log as TD & CB MM. TFTC
Found it with master Q. It was a quick find after which master Q wanted to walk up the hill. Great view from the top. Had another nice walk around before returning to the car. Thanks for bringing us here.
TFTC - I love coming to places like this. Places that are always overlooked..
Yes, my GPS had me about 8mtrs away, but Geoinstincts along with the hint allowed me to soon have the CIH.
Vlogged this Cache due to personal reasons, if you want to know why, Subscribe to me on my YouTube channel - Seemy Shell.

On my last visit I searched the GZ but obviously not well enough. So I then went to where my GPS pointed among some greenery.
This time I altered the hint to a more sensible 'What else" and made the find with the GPS behaving better under clear skies.

This was my only find for today. Noticing this cache would help me fill another missing date on the dates hidden calendar, I attempted this cache. I parked straight across from GZ and immediately recognised where the cache would be hidden. The only problem was my GPS wasn't agreeing with me and instead pointing to another metal structure. I inspected said structure but nothing came up so I put the GPS away and started to search by touch. I went over all parts and wasn't coming up with anything so I searched a few logs for an additional hint. Nothing jumped out so I searched again by touch and only when my hand was turned a certain way did I feel the cache. The coordinates were out by 10m on my GPS. SL. TFTC.

The GPSr wanted me elsewhere but I checked a likely place and had CIH. It's an interesting initiative by the council, thanks for highlighting it. Thanks Ali600.
Was at shops on the same street, so thought I'd give this one a go.
Thanks for the pack n grab.

Travelled down the Thin Black Line again last evening in the teeming rain to try my hand at some night caching in the Blacktown area and surrounding suburbs. Great Cache, Great Location

Didn't really intend to grab this many caches out Blacktown way today, but for a change I was finding them all so quickly I had time for "Just One More". A few times.
Finally called it quits at six - then back home and a few groceries to pick up for the Geowife on the way.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Interesting council initiative in this park - should be more of it across Sydney.
GZ was pretty obvious, and the previous finder, or a subsequent muggle, had replaced it where I could spot it pretty easily.
Took away to complete signing duties and then back for the replace - a little deeper under cover.
A good start to the day's caching.

#597 9.30am Hoping to use this one as part of a long distance apart on the same day challenge (200km & 5000km).
Allowing for time differences I will probably find my next cache in Hawaii before I found this one!
Found cache easily but the log was a bit reluctant to come out initially.

This cache is just around the corner from my place. Bought my sisters (arohapark) and (koroiko) from Queensland they arrived today. This is their first NSW cache. My grandson ( the aussie in maorified) planted trees here when he was 4. He's now 11 and my geocaching buddy. Nice memory to revisit. Tftc SL bought some tb's through for a visit.
#3011- When I stopped the car, the GPS said three metres. I thought, 'really?'. As I walked off further, it still said the same and even at GZ. I took a quick look and spotted it immediately- read the information and returned it. Placed the cache back but missed the metal and dropped it. Thought it may have disappeared inside. I pictured having to contact the CO when I spotted it. Replaced as it should be and I was off. Thanks
Streak Day #678 - Took dave8153 along and was put off by the first thing as i jumped out of the car as co ords pointed to it, but then looked over and saw the perfect place to start looking and found mins later. TFTC
I work at the nearby high school and had the joy of being kept back to attend parent/teacher night so once it was over I made my way over to the nearest cache. I walked around in circles for a while and had to keep dimming my torch as a car drove by. Eventually I found the cache by touch. SL #1981 on streak day #1049 TFTC
19/5/15. 12:57 PM. Cache #2516. Streak day #331.
2nd cache for the day. I needed help at the last one ("olympic route insignia" at Arndell Park), and when I was talking to the PAF they told me I wouldn't need a hint for this one as it was easy. They were right. Quick park & grab. TFTC.

Made my way through ankle high grass to undertake a torchlight cache before work this mourning. Spotted the likely place for the hide from my vehicle before exiting, was rewarded with my educated guess as well.
I was on the construction team who built Bunnings across the road and remember some houses being built next to this spot.
Back then, AGL who were working on the gas mains 10-15m down the hill from this sign ruptured the main sending a fire ball into the air that lasted a good deal of time. The noise was amazing and stopped work on site for a period. I also remember a hit and run from a cleaner from Macca's around that same time as well at 6am that I administered CPR on at the t intersection 40-50m from this spot as well, RIP to that man. Well wasn't that a dramatic 10 months, thanks Ali600

My cords led me to a likely location but maybe cache blindness afflicted me and I had no success.
Coordinates changed from:
S 33° 46.797 E 150° 55.022
Coordinates changed to:
S 33° 46.808 E 150° 55.026
Distance from original: 69.8 feet or 21.3 meters.
Tried again on a calmer sunnier day. GPS still jumps a lot but these should be a bit closer.

By the logs of other finders, I expected something different. What I found was a classic micro hide in the most likely place. Though the coordinates are a bit off.
Thanks for the cache.

A nice hide in a park I had never noticed despite driving the main road many, many times.

Just as I was parking the Geobeast, the wind decided to blow and the trees were in full swing with the autumn leaves rolling along in the gutters. So in the Darug language " Mujar Bija" I was glad to be here! Ummm! Maybe not in shorts anyway. I stepped out and really felt the cold wind and I was thinking " hoping that this will be a quick find". Arrived at GZ and read the info boards and saw something just not right. Ahhhh Cache. Did the legals and replaced as found. Thanks Ali for the cache, I walked away learning something. TFTCM

Had a look around the obvious spot, and after a quick look with rain and wind quickly had CIH.
As I returned to my car, someone in a car beeped me, turns out to be DKMakka.
He kindly offered me a seat out of the rain and also a tool to remove the cache log.
Also had a chat to him for a little while. Great to see a fellow cacher in the field.

My first FTF! Decided to go find this one whilst the Miss was rock climbing, couldn't climb due to my recovering sprained ankle. Coordinates were quite off and almost logged a DNF, but checked the more obvious spot again before giving up and there it was! A very nice patch of green in the midst of the industrial and residential area. TFTC!
