Logs
Didn't find. Did find some sparkys tools dumped. Luckily he had his number on them. Car was broken into a few months ago!
Beautiful! An easy find once I picked my head up from staring at my phone and thought about a good hiding spot.
A fairly quick find of a nicely hidden cache. The lid is missing, but we inserted the log in such a way it should not fall out. TFTC
Scary story. Did not find Geocashe but found a potentially missing persons wallet. No money no credit but ID and driver’s license.
Another beaut day, putting in some miles, finding some more caches. What more could you want? Could see it, but way, way out of reach, so I'll take the find. Cheers
And then with that I remembered I had a magnetic phone charger, which might be of use ... It wasn't,; trying that, I found an alt log in the ground, so signed off now. Cheers
Found with angelic_kiwi. Container well out of reach but placed a spare logsheet in the top part. tftc
Found on a lovely walk during lockdown. Very clever hide thanks very much! No pencil so wet able to sign the log.
Quick find but cache container had slipped down. Managed to find some wire to fish it out. Left wire hanging close by. TFTC.
Having read the last log we started walking up to the tree, before realising that flannel11 was sending us up the garden path. In actual fact, there's no need to go up there, as it is much closer to the road and a sneaky hide in keeping with the Wanglers usual techniques. TFTC!
Tftc. Did a minor fix up for ya as the kid and paper aas missing. Great wee hunt and walk up to the big tree
This took my quite a while to find and just as I was about to give you decided to have another look and I found it! It is such a clever little hide. I don’t know if it needs so maintenance tho because it doesn’t have a lid so the paper could easily fall
Took the little hike up the trail to find the nicely placed geocache thanks for the hard we are pet sitting here from California for 2 1/2 weeks in church
Quick find. Nicely placed TW. FP. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2177
We had to really trust the GPS. Glad to find this and not have too many cars racing past. TFTC Bunny and Lion
Added some more paper (glad that we came a bit equiped) and made a quick find. TFTC
Saw it as soon as I got to gz. Sorry I didn't bring any spare log paper up the hill. Next finder should replace log perhaps. Thanks for the cache, TW. #3075

Like a little piece of Lyttelton on this side of the Hills, given the narrow and steep streets. Was in Sumner today so quick stop by to get this cache. Parked a bit more uphill and even managed to turn the van around there after finding the cache.
Very serendipitous
TFTC!

Came for a walk up to here from the beach while in the area this morning. An easy find for me, I spotted it as I approached. However lots of experience and "cacher's instinct" played a big part here, I would have found it a lot more difficult if I was starting out in geocaching. Signed log, TFTC!
Early start to the day with daughter on a geocaching mission day! We spent most of the daylight hours out and about, and covered quite a bit of ground in the day. We signed the logs Team Polak for brevity and to save paper, even though some of the caches one of us has found before. Great day to be out, even though it started chilly and finished likewise. TFTC!!

I took a day off annual leave from motherhood, and left the baby with hubby. - And meanwhile, mum & I went out geocaching!! My goal is to have under 500 geocaches within 80km by the time I go back to work - and that's really close, so gotta get about 150 more finds within 4 weeks! Eeek!
So we headed off towards the port hills/lyttelton, and then also picked up a trade me purchase in Burnham!
Ended up with 30 odd finds - not quite as many as planned, but I am starting to have bigger gaps between caches!!
Dodgy park, but a quick find. Logsheet was missing so added some paper in!

7598. Our church walking group was doing its thing in the area today so I looked on Google maps and found two likely caches to find after enjoying morning coffee. This one took less than 5 seconds after arriving at the only parking spot. Didn't even use the GPS. That's the benefit of years of exerience at this game. Thanks for the cache. Rodney.
With the forecast for fine sunny weather, StreetWalker and I decided to tackle a few more caches on Godley Head. It's been a while since we have been to the head of the heads, so to speak, so this is the first time since the earthquakes changed the landscape.
Grabbing a few drive bys on the way home to bring our finds to 10 for the day. We took note of the parking on the way up to Dammed Good Spot to have a look, as recommended, on the way down. A quick find of a "trademark" TW hide. Busy road, so people were probably wondering what we were upto TFTC.

#14109. Stopped off on the way down, and maneuvered into the parking space. Troodles walked straight up to the cache hiding place and had no trouble spotting it (despite the good quality camo). TFTC.
I wanted to find 2 or more geocaches for a calendar challenge that I have set myself. Luckily I had no work and the rain had held off.
My third and final find today. I had to replace the logbook. Sorry it was just a receipt that I had on me.

Thanks. TheWanglers for putting in the effort to hide this geocache. This was find 4719 for me.

Luckily this was the first spot I put my hand, something didn't feel quite right - and there was the cache! Very sneaky hide, TFTC!
Was looking around the area for a few seconds (getting strange looks from passing cars). But after these cars passed Busy Paws managed to spot the cache only looking slightly out of place. Before I could even turn around she had it in hand, a very clever hide.
TFTC!
Nice one! A year ago this would have stumped me. Good dry hide. Found with Geo Jessie on a sunny day. TFTC
After scrambling about in the ivy and undergrowth I was thinking it would be serendipitous if I ever found this. I needed to turn on my geocaching brain though and decided that people do not continuously describe a sistema container in the undergrowth as a nice find. It now turned into a quick and easy find and yes it is a delightful hide. Thanks for your efforts.
Third time lucky! Looked twice before but geodog and muggles got in the way! Awesome hide, tftc
Day 2 of caching action in Christchurch.
Enjoyed our visit here. We had been to the top of the hill, now we were both halfway up and halfway down. Perhaps?
Straightforward find, spotted the nifty hide quickly - fortunately. Cache in order; log signed, then safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Out and about with tmann421 enjoying the sights and collecting some caches along the way.
A nice quick find for us here. TFTC

Finding somewhere to leave the car was about a d4.5 problem. Cache was not so hard
In Sumner so thought we would grab a cache, and TW ones are always good. Walked up the hill and Mr B went straight to the sneaky hide. We must be getting better at this game! A good hide. TFTC.
Fiund in the second place I looked. The first had a takeaway container that just could have been a cache, but on a closer look, Nah.
A very marginal day for caching, wet and windy.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

A clever hide, can imagine it would have a few folk scratching their heads, but seasoned cachers will find it quickly. Gets a fav point from us
My first visit to Sumner during a work trip to Christchurch. I didn't appreciate how many of these clifftop houses have a one road access point. I had erroneously assumed there would be cross-roads at the top! Pulled up next to an SUV which had parked right on top of GZ, and within seconds the muggle owners appeared (giving me a fright) and left, which gave me some space to find the cache. Turned out to be much easier than I had initially expected. Nice hide! TFTC
Great, had a look around and then realised the answer.......quick find thanks
Clever hide. No traffic or muggles so could search for it in peace. Now off to summer for some kumara chips for tea. Tftc
TFTC. Out to play with kotukuSI and this cache popped up on the screen - nice wee drive up the hill, turn about and park. We both stood and had a look about for a potential TW hiding spot. KSI was casually leaning and I suggested she look ........ We laughed at the effort involved involved in retrieving.
A favourite vote from me.
Thanks TW for the fun.

Found the last letter I needed to finish the May month challenge with purdiepurdie and stopped by a few more caches on the way back to town.
This is such a delightful spot - I used to visit friends up here pre-EQ - feels like such a long time ago, doesn't it.
Sweet cache indeed! Another favourite from me.

Had a quick park and grab, after Shark n Tatties down on the Beach.Spotted something, that we have seen before, and it was it.No trouble Parking up there..TFTH
N!mrod, knowing I had a cache of his to find out Sumner way, asked whether I would like to join him in seeking this cache plus a few others out Scarborough way. Having parked just 30m or so down the road it was just a quick walk before I noticed something. Another quick find. TFTC.
I spotted something as I approached in the car that I thought looked suspicious... was feeling pretty chuffed that this would be a Wanglers hide I could get within moments... but that wasn't it. But I did find it soon after, a classic, so no harm done. TFTC (1895)
On a mission to suss out "Deadman" and finding that although tantalisaing close, it was better left for another less populated time, so motored on to "Serendipity." Walked up the hill and made a quick find, which was lovely on an otherwise unproductive afternoon. Thanks T.
