no issue there. Many thanks-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --French version below-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --Short late log but more complete now that we are back home. Our vacation will take us to the other side of the world to the land of the Maoris. After many, many hours of flying, a passage through China on the way there and through the United States of America on the way back, we will finally arrive in Christchurch which will be the starting point of our journey. We will enjoy the beaches of the Pacific Ocean and we will go back towards the North Island via State Highway 1. To combine business with pleasure, we will take regular breaks and small detours according to the caches that seem the most accessible to us.With a little more than 3500 km in 20 days, we will have discovered many facets of this island which is soothing. We will have to come back because there are so many places that we have not done . In broad strokes, the path will go from Christchurch to the Kaikoura Peninsula then towards Picton for the crossing to Wellington.New island, new road, and by State Highway 2 we go towards Hastings and Napier. We will leave the seaside for several days to go to Tongariro and Taupo. We will continue north towards Rotorua and Hamilton (without forgetting a detour via Hobbiton ) A detour to the Coromandel Peninsula and finally the almost north of the island with Whangarei and Waitangi to learn the history of this country. There will only be a few days left to spend towards Auckland and its suburbs before taking the plane back to the grayness of our European autumn. The majority of the boxes will be found, we have abandoned those where our English was lacking and where we could not understand the clue. Thanks to all the owners who brightened up our path, who took us to incredible places (that's also geocaching)In short, we had a great vacation, saw beautiful places that simply ask us to come back. We learned a lot about the history of this country and its traditions, it's a great motivation for our destinations.-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --Petit log en retard mais un peu plus complet maintenant que nous sommes rentrs la maison. On our long term trip from Germany to Western Australia / Tasmania / New Zealand for about 3,5 month, we arrived New Zealand and on our way across NZ, we pick up some caches. Before we started to the Tongariro National Park, we picked up some caches in Rotorua. This one was a quick found. TFTC
Nearly walked right past this one, but luckily checked the phone just in time! Tftc!
Awesome first find for my nephew, thank you. He was super stealthy and found it without a hint.
Raced out to grab a few caches while my travel buddies frolicked in the pool.
I approached this from the goat track side making things more difficult than necessary.

Missed this one on the first ride past, which was a shame as I hadn't lost the pen then! Found cache but photo only.of log as proof - sorry. TFTC
Checked after dnf. Cache still there safe and sound waiting to be found. Installed new log.
Down in Rotorua for a few days break and hopefully will do plenty of geocaches! This cache is right where the hint implies. Good spot, TFTC
Nice cache. Day find. Container a bit damp but the plastic bag is doing it’s job. TFTC
Nice quick easy find after waiting for a few muggles to go past as I "tied my shoe" tftc
#1047 - On a Geocache mission from Tauranga today. It was a very very foggy day in Rotorua.
Nice quick find here, good hint. Thanks.

#12,388. Short walk in Fairy Springs / Kawaha Point, Rotorua. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Geez, on the worng side of the tracks yet again! And my devices not helping any to pinpoint the right spot. Eventually worked it out and had to pretend to be doing something normal while a dad with pram and under 5 came passed, the latter who was very interested in me! Anyhoo, made the find, signed the log and replaced with no-one else (hopefully) seeing. Thanks for the hide spiderhouse - a disappointing aamount of mattresses and other stuff too big to CITO our near here though.
An early morning start for a Fruit and Yoghurt cache. Took the wrong path initially with its long wet grass before heading on the correct one. No difficulty in locating the cache. Thanks.
While in Rotorua for several days on a Hutt Valley Tramping Club trip riding and walking some of the local trails we spent time with livingk and gpetone loking for geocaches and found this one. TFTC
Out doing a few local caches and a maintenance run on the way home. Checked all good here. Replaced the log.
Cache was a little exposed and the log needs replaced. Lovely little note inside made my day. Have rehidden cache with some stones atop.
Decided to cycle the trail to Ngongotaha to collect the caches on route.
Nice easy find here. Love fruit and yogurt for breakfast. TFTC

On a fun cycle caching ride with tramyard, gorby, and SOLRAC TWO. The four of us had a great day riding the trails, finding caches and stopping for lunch at Ngongotaha. We trusted the GPS, checked there, didn't see it, trusted it a bit more and headed into the prickles... and then ended up finding it where we first looked... TFTC!!!
In Rotorua for the weekend to celebrate an event for GC45, now in Rotorua with FMZ doing this Breakfast trail he on his e-bike and me my cool e-scooter. Tramyard and SOLRAC TWO are on the old school bikes, you know the type, you have to exert yourself.
Love fruit and yoghurt, at the moment for breakfast, I scoff a banana and some large Puhoi yoghurt with boysenberry jam in it, scrumptious deliciousy-mo!
Took us awhile here searching for the cache. But teamwork prevailed.

It often happens differently than expected. I started cycling around the lake after breakfast, but not for Breakfast. Preliminary to ride a bike. I realised, Gorbygorbachov, funkymunkyzone and tramyard, whom I met yesterday. We drove, looked for caches after breakfast, talked and drank coffee together. Thank you for the delicious Breakfast suggestions, the caches and the accompaniment. TFTC
Found it during lovely bike trip on Sunday morning with great company of FMZ, Gorby and SOLRAC TWO. Trust your GPS! Haha it was tricky ... we went into the gorse , yes we did
Continuing our caching adventure with AFBEE, GW78 and ondago. Hate to leave this area as we have enjoyed exploring here... need to come back! TFTFun spiderhouse
Our caching journey with AF-Bee, GeoWench78 and 6ftzp&1/2zip continues as our time in NZ is coming to a close. This ended up being our last cache here. Cords were kind of wonkie. There is a fence in the tall grass that be came a trip hazard for 6ftzpr. Thanks for the Breakfast series spiderhouse.
Found with AF BEE, 6ftzpr&1/2zip, and ondago while on a geocaching vacation. Thanks for placing this cache.
OCW GeoWench78, ondago and 6ftzpr&1/2zip between Taupo and Tauranga...stopped in Rotorua for a few caches...worked on a few of the Breakfast series...last one of this series for us...TFTC!
Once at the correct GZ it was a quick find. I signed the log and then I replaced the cache container as it was discovered.
Thanks for placing this cache

On day 6 of our 5 week road trip in NZ. After spending time at the Buried Village I asked my muggle hubby to drive me to a couple of caches I needed to complete a “food pyramid” challenge. I needed a dairy product so the yoghurt helped me out. TFTC
Oh doh, the cachers from Denmark found our cache but Mrs CO couldn't. Went back and had another look and Mr CO laid his hands on it straight away. Lol. Does she feel silly right now.
On a maintenance run. Strange, cachers say they have found this one but nothing there to be found . The area around the hide has been cleared of all vegetation so we will have to find another place. Disabling until then.
I really liked this trail along the old railway tracks.
I had to look for some cans longer and some I could not find.
Thanks for this cache says Pöni.

Found as a part of a previous group TanjackMüley, aka WanderingSparrow. Now I'm continuing on my own. TFTC
Huge dog poo at the gz. Spotted that first before the cache. Log looks like it's seen better days. Tftc as we admired an albino horse in the area adjacent.
I was down in Rotorua for the weekend and this afternoon went for a walk along the walkway from Ngongotaha with a group of friends and their kids, working on the Breakfast series and letting the kids do most of the navigating and finding - I just signed the logs! TFTC!
In Rotorua for a ten pin bowling tournament, time for a bike ride along this track to find some Breakfast caches. Thanks spiderhouse for the cache.
Having been to Hamilton for the night to attend our daughters graduation, we then headed here. Mr Rattll had things to attend to in Whakatane, so dropped Mrs Rattll off in Rotorua for a days caching (on foot), before heading home tonight.
So he dropped me off at the end of this trail to begin my day's walk.
I apologise for the simple 'name' log which is pretty rough, but with my right hand in a cast, it wasn't easy to write.
I'd been lucky with passing muggle issue's for the last six caches, so I knew my luck had to end somewhere. I had to wait out a frustratingly slow dog walking muggle coming from the other direction, pretending to talk on the phone, text etc. Finally when the coast was clear, it was a quick grab and I was on my way again

Here visiting from Taranaki and decided to do this trail while we are in town. Loved this series. Lots of yummy breakfast combos and great hides. Had lots of fun.
