Logs
This one keeps going missing and as we have exhausted all the hiding places we are archiving it. A new one will be up and running shortly in a different area of the track.
We have logged all the "Breakfast" caches. But here we searched for a moment and couldn't find the box. And so we decided to do a photo log. We are 19.000 km far away to come back for this cache. We hope that this log is ok.

On a cycle maintenance ride. Oh dear, this one has gone AGAIN. Disabling until we can come up with a replacement.
Ninth find of the breakfast series. No idea what the hint meant so I walked around a bit before spotting the cache. Unfortunealty the bottom has come off the tube and the log paper was lying on the floor and had been half eaten! The code is still visable and there is space left to write so I put it in a zip lock bag and wedged it back into the tube as I couldn't locate the bottom of the tube anywhere. Hopefully the zip lock bag stays in place. TFTC!
Not sure what the hint means but never mind we found the hide quickly. No one around today. Tftc
Was on a numbers mission again so I rallied up the troops - this time only Philip Perry answered the call and we met with the bikes for a breakfast series, only we started at lunch time.
Found this easily, but was on the wrong side to grab it. Dan managed from his side.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Thanks for bringing me here.
I do remember this one though - made short work of it - my interpretation of the hint lined up with what was found.
Got the bike out, had to go into town to fix a puncture first though, a real nice cycle around here
Many thanks
Many thanks
Don't fully understand hint lol
Found cache in question, everything good with this one.

Easy find, hard extraction.
Who would have thought a Monday evening was rush hour for Dog walkers?

Moved this cache a few metres after three losses to Muggles. Let's hope this lasts a bit longer.

AaaRrrrGggHhh !!! this one has gone again. Disabling for now while we re-think it's position.
It was the weekend of the 4 sisters road trip to Rotorua. The 2 sisters that geocache got up early to do this series. No worries here with no one else around at this time of the morning. TFTC
Easy to find spot. Saw some people walking their horses. Not riding, but walking. That was a first for me. Beautiful day for a pleasant series of caches. Thanks.
Another quick and easy find. The hardest part was negotiating our way around the streets to get close enough, so many dead ends, it was like a rabbit warren. We really should bring our bikes next time and ride the track. TFTC.
With it being the school holidays we decided to head down to Rotorua today and enjoy a family bike ride. We were lured here by this series of Geocaches and the thought of a soak in some hot pools before the drive home. My wife had our three year old on the back of her bike, our six year old was on his soon to be to small BMX and I navigated on my mountain bike. I was very proud of our eldest who biked all the way from one end of the trail to the other and back.
Another nice easy and quick find although we had to be discrete as their was a young muggle biking around and a game of rugby being played near GZ which had drawn a big crowd. TFTC.

What started out a a quiet ramble on my own didn't last long when I caught up with three lovely ladies caching. Teamed up for the rest of the trail. Zeroed in on this one very quickly. TFTC
We teamed up with firewoof - boy he's good at finding caches. Found this one too. TFTC
Seeing that I had brought my bike with me, it is time to get on it and cycle down from Ngongotaha to Rotorua picking up some caches on the way.
A nice winter one.
Cheers for the cache.

There was a rugby match on at the time we came to this, so we decided to search for this on our way back... easy find again, thanks!
Decided that another night trip was on the cards, and not being one to turn down a mission I was keen to tag along. We needed to be back home by 2.00am as I had another caching mission on Saturday and needed at least a few hours sleep.
Left Hamilton about 5.30pm and headed south. We had a rough plan of tackling the new breakfast series and to get whatever else we hadn't found on that side of town. A pretty successful mission with only 1 DNF (which we were pretty sure was muggled) and some really cool caches to boot. Thanks to everyone for the great placements.
Easy find here, though not sure how long this one will last. Cache was out in the open so tried to cover the best I could.

At a recent event HKCB and I had been working out where was local and needing to be cleared out as we had been letting things slip a bit lately. And what with the need for our muggle partners want us to respectivley spend more time with them rather than caching another night mission was planned for Rotorua.
We met up at 5.30pm and set off, both knowing that we needed to be back by about 2am, so we worked a plan that would mean that we cleared out a reasonable area for each of us before we came back over next time.
This was the ninth of my evening and a nice quick find. By this time we had started to remember to collect the numbers as we went so that we could hopefully get the Bonus. Later in the evening we spent a bit of time sitting in the car "brute forcing" a solution until we got something that looked reasonable.
Thanks for this nice little series and keeping it running.
Thanks for the placement

Started this series today by foot - what a great track for bikers, runners and walkers. Even on this rather showery Friday it is surprising the number of people about. Raining a bit harder here but nice easy find - glad of the umbrella. TFTC
Had tried this one on a couple occasions. Had dismissed it both times due to assuming it was rubbish! TFTC. Nice track for the dog.
And .... more horses! these ones look like they get visited by lots of passer-bys.
Went for a cycle ride and checked all the caches. All good to go for the long weekend. Happy caching.
Dot Day... Headed here straight from work. I don't know why I chose this one, but it was obviously meant to be...
The iPhone gps swung all over the place, and it was hard to get a good lock on ground zone. I could see on the map view where I needed to go, yet the metres to cache weren't heading downward... Finally after some minutes, the gps settled, though I still couldn't find the cache. There was an obvious 'flattening' where others had searched, but that seemed to be riddled with blackberry.
On the way back to the car, I spotted something that I had seen previously... A protective cover used on a cache or two in this series... It turned out to be the cache, lying in the grass, out in the open. I'm not sure how this one sat originally. There are clues in the logs, but nothing definitive. I returned the cache to a position that I think is the hide, and used what was there to conceal it. This needs checking... In the meantime, TFTC.

Please check... Found on the ground and not sure if this has been returned and hidden as intended.
5.10pm - Thanks Spiderhouse for this series of caches. As this is another Dot Day and work day for us it's great to have some caches close to home. Soon found what I was looking for on this busy walkway/cycle track. SLTFTC
After a little modification to the hide, the flooding problem should be solved.
Mr Agogo spotted this one our approach, soon logged and on our bikes again, muggles thinning out a bit thank goodness.
Almost missed this one, but 5 yr old realised there was something more to it than at first glance. Thanks again.
Had a horse muggle watching me the whole time but hardly anyone in sight so far tftc
this was a quick find no body about however cache was sitting in water as the hole was full from recent rain. Cache was dry inside but not sure how it will be after sitting in water all winter.

Were about to park by the lake to find Cruising Around when we finally checked the new emails...... AARG 2 new Breakfast ones!! Having been told they were in the queue we had been refreshing the inbox every 5 minutes or so..... that is untill the last half an hour.... the new ones came out 30 minutes ago!!! quickly did a U turn and boosted the 3km back to GZ, inserting the GPS coords enroute.....
Got to GZ and not a car around....... nor a bike, nor a pair of footprints........ Soon spotted the likely hide and unravelled the container for a blank FTF spot on the logsheet!!
Quickly put it back and took the dog for another stroll the the 2nd one.
TNLN TFTC!!
