I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi kaŝmemoro
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Not sure what was going on here but even looked in unlikely places and had GAR to help here and still nothing.
We have wanted to do this trail for sooooooo long, but life got in the way. Finally, we decided it was now or never. Got a late start after travelling from Wangas..started about 11am...made one mad dash back to Rongotea for Mrs RRR to pee (she can't think when she has to pee LOL) and one around 3pm for another bathroom break, and snaffle some foodles, and make use of better network coverage. We tried to follow a logical course but had already done some previously so had to zig-zag a couple of times but thankfully not far. Had 10 to go in the last block, and just went all out. Finished with a DNF on the very last one, around 8.45pm...headed off to do one more on the way home, and then head for the hills for a feed and feet up. All-in-all a good day, made better by the box of sandwiches and goodies and thermos in the boot. Many thanks for this trail - we're very happy to see many more smiley faces on it. Logs signed with RachelsRiffRaff or RRR. TFTC
We did this area about a month in order to achieve the 72 cache finds in 24hrs. An achievement coin thats still out there in Geoshop land if you hunt hard enough! We were staying in Palmie for a couple of nights, so it seemed only logical to try and give it ago- we started late, and with 4 kiddos 12yrs and under, we thought- this is not going to be possible! But, despite a few DNF's at the beginning -and the negative vibe that gave us, we were determined to do it. 11.20am start, and we completed 65 of them by 5.30 at night- with a small lunch break on the side of the road and a few arguments in the car with restless kiddies- but a good haul! The last 7 were easily achieved the next morning on a morning walk along the Palmerston north River. 72 caches in 24hrs- whoop whoop.
Headed out for an afternoon/evening of caching. Started off in the light but by the end it was dark. The full moon was beautiful but not particularly helpful but with a good torch many of these caches were still able to be found. Having said that I had 10 DNF most of which have not been found this year. Many of the logs had replacement logs with the old damp log stuffed to the bottom. A bit of TLC would not go amiss! Thanks for the series.
Since I'm out this way chasing a FTF I may as well get some others in the area.
This was my third consecutive DNF when I did the KAS series two years ago for the Heavenly Creatures souvenirs. Easy find Today. All good here. TFTC
Funny how things work out...
I now work for NZ Post and Kellow Road is on my Rural Delivery run but I'm not permitted to geocache in my RD Van (with the flashing light). Pity!

Missed out on this one a couple of years back good to see it’s all go again and I can complete the series finally ...thanks kašmemoro
We couldn't find this 3 years ago as it was missing. After a bike ride today we nipped out to find this. Thanks for the cache kasmemoro
I have said it about three times before in the past that I plan to finish of these Kas caches but for some reason I never did. So yet again I going to try and complete the remaining ones
There are 8 to go now there 3
This cache helps with filling in a missing dot on my calendar matrix, getting the calendar completed is going to take some time as many of the missing days are on work days making it difficult to get out and get one making thing worse there are not many left that are nearby, these ones I will save for when I can get out but have limited time as for the others they are at least 30 minutes or more to get to ground zone just to get one cache
Thanks for the Cache

This is day nine of a ten day trip down to Dunedin and back to move my daughter there so she can get her master’s degree at Otago University. I spent the morning around Himatangi doing a series of caches, and then headed up to Turangi. I was going to stay a second night, but the weather was closing in.
I saw this series on my way back from the WENZ 2018 Mega last year and thought I have to do these one day.
After spending the night at the holiday park at Himatangi, the rain had stopped long enough for me to continue where I left off the evening before. TFTC.

Out on a bit of a random road trip for a couple of weeks.
Taumaranui, Whakatane, Foxton Beach
Out today with our latest bit of Geocaching kit - e-bikes.
Cycling around a 12k block doing the power trail.
Good easy finds as a power trail should be. Adding the hint to the cache name is a nice touch.
We like the animals attached to the otherwise boring containers.

Today was a numbers run for us. Lots of caches to choose from in this area so we did all but 2 of the KAS series, the mint tin series and some railway ones. 98 caches found in total and 2 DNF's something tells me we are going to have to go out again to find 2 more today. Many thanks to all the CO's of the caches we visited today, hugely appreciated and certainly love the quiet roads after Auckland.
One of 65 caches located in this neck of the woods today, a personal best which is never likely to be repeated! Biked along these roads from mid-morning to late afternoon, making a real day of it. Thanks to the cache owners for putting all these hides in place.
This one was a straightforward find. #1997. TFTC.

Today we’re in Manawatu and Horowhenua area, with some time dedicated to the KAS Series
Found caches have typically been signed MM78, although a few have been stamped mrandmrschosen1978.
Apologies for generic logs but with so many... condition of caches varied with good dry logs to wet/damp logs, we added some rite’n’rain slips to some as required
Thanks for this series, we appreciate the time and effort made in creating this series •

Up for the Mega for the week, headed up the coast for a couple of days on family stuff, but did get few caches in for the day. many thanks to the cache placer's - Bitsprayer
It’s Day 1 of our 2018 WENZ MEGA crusade and Team BOP are well represented by McJandals, NZFlossy, TNXPro, Davidson Clan, FapAndGap & Squirrel nutcase and myself.
We have a huge hit list for this 5 day affair so it's gonna be a little manic. We’ve signed our logs either individually or as ‘Team BOP’ depending on log space, size or condition. A special thanks to all the CO’s and those who have helped keep these caches in good order.
Cache found quickly thanks to accurate co-ords and a straight forward placement. A neat series and theme but most of the log sheets need replacing and are good examples of my we should be using waterproof paper. TFTC.

A quick find thanks to the hint in the title. We did 28 of this KAS series today. Thanks to the local cache owners who made this trail
On a long trip down to the mega with Lis's crew. So for me it good for numbers and favorites caches. With several stops and a lot of caches and several souvenirs up for grabs the trip was the perfect opportunity to get my numbers up and get some challenges that I have qualified for. Interesting series of caches here in Palmy area. most were quick finds but some to took a bit longer. Thanks for keeping this trail going.
This is my 3rd time out here collecting these powerline caches. Came here to collect a car seat and decided to clear 11 caches to join some smiley face lines together. For some caches I signed as NB. There's quite a deep hole at GZ so I placed the cache away from the hole to avoid losing it. TFTC
Driving up to Auckland today gave me the opportunity to pick up a few caches along the way. I had wanted to come back and have another go for this one ever since I initially did the KAS trail back in March, so I was glad to see that a replacement container had been thrown down by another cacher to keep this one going (thank you).
Once at GZ, it was a super quick find, sign, and replace before jumping back into the car and continuing on my journey north.

Have replaced this cache, love to keep this brilliant trail going, so all good to go
After 42 successful finds this was my first DNF, and as it was followed by two more. In this case there is no Danger Post due to a replacement fence being erected here.
1st one of the trail we couldnt find today. There is a newly installed fence very close which may be why.
We too were unable to find this cache. We note the very new looking fence here, which may explain the absence of a cache.
My son and I have been trying to get around to doing the KAS trail for quite some time now, ever since we finished getting through the nearby Chewy Mint trail.
The Planetary Pursuits event currently running, and an available free day with my son over the Easter weekend, seemed like the perfect excuse to finally hit it!
So I planned a route that also took into account some other nearby caches, such as this one, making a grand total of 84 caches to be attempted today, curious to know if we could absolutely blast our previous record (40) for the number of finds for a day. As it turned out, we had just 5 DNF's, so it was a tremendous result that propelled us almost all the way to Pluto in 1 day! I now have a very tired, but happy lad.
I apologise for the generic 'cut n paste' style of my log, but with 79 to do tonight I figured it was the only way.
Our 4th DNF of the day. We did look around the posted coordinates, but to no avail, and then then previous logs persuaded us that this cache has been missing for a while.
Having just had my first placement muggled a couple of weeks ago, I am very much in appreciation of all CO's who place and maintain caches for the rest of us to find.

Had a good search around and no luck ...read logs and bingo others gave the same complaint no luck ...may it's gone my 1st dnf
We decided to look for some caches before heading to Wellington to get the ferry to Picton.
These caches here were nice drive by caches.
Thank you very much

Was out with my father in law Popmac who provided transport so I could clear out this series and I quickly made the find. Thanks for the cache. Knocked off the series in just under three hours.
This cache was attempted as part of the Palmerston North Power Leg of our "Road to 6,000" Extravaganza for 2016.

Found with barefootguru as part of the 142 in 24 hour cache challenge (GC5EAAX). Sorry for the generic log. TFTC
Apologies for the generic log — Team B&D are up from Wellington to do the 142 caches in 24 hours challenge. TFTC and a great set of power trails up here! p.s. Could see it across road! Will rehide a bit better.
In the Manawatu for the weekend with some caching buddies- Uncle Sam, NZTravellers, Stik-a-crane. The goal was to find as many of the local caches that we could in the space of a day. We managed to find 206, I think, in the space of 14 hours, with a few bathroom/ coffee breaks and a couple of meal breaks. We all had a blast jumping in and out of the car, racing each other to the caches, and laughing and joking along the way, and in general had an awesome weekend down here.
We really enjoyed this trail, and I particularly thought the guardians of the cache containers were pretty cool!
Apologies for the generic logs.... with over 200 caches found in one day, it was virtually impossible to remember each individual cache!
Log signed as Team SEAC (South East Auckland Crew) in order to save log space.

Our team from Auckland wanted to do a major day of caching, so headed down to Foxton area for a massive day. We got about 205.
Very sorry for the generic logs, but when doing so many in one day very hard to make notes on each.
But a big thank you to all the cache owners for putting out all of the great caches we visited.

A group of like minded cachers from Auckland hatched a plan to spend the weekend in the Manawatu collecting caches. We had a blast racing around the country side collecting this KAS series. Thanks for setting up this series was lots of fun. TFTC!
I had flown into Palmy yesterday to join a group that was going for our biggest tally today, and staying in nearby Foxton Beach, we were off to a good start with is series....

A glorious day to be out and about enjoying the countryside. Thanks for this wonderful trail .
Heading towards the Mega. Thought it would be impolite not to grab a few on the way through. Thanks all for the hides.
Sanson Day2.
Today we headed out to finish the KAZ trail. This was liking a tiki tour of the area around the farming country side.
The long grass made some of the caching today quiet difficult. I liked how the title included a hint.
Thanks for placing this cache kasmemoro

Logged with GCDroid. Thanks for the series kasmemoro - sorry about the cut and paste but with so many there weren't so many things that were different for each one.
The overgrowth referred to by edvern has disappeared and I was initially concerned the cache may had gone with it as part of the clean up. However, it was there although now rather exposed.
Enjoying a bike ride on these quiet country roads and collecting caches along the way. Like the way the hint is usually in the title - makes for a fast grab. Getting quite overgrown here, and took a short hunt to locate. Thanks KAS team.
Mission accomplished, this one is a wrap. Thanks for the cache from Blenheim Bear!

Fab morning collecting caches on the way to play badminton in Feilding today - thanks so much for all the caches
Back to do some more of the power trail with UlmusLynx We started this in March and thought it was time to do some more TFTC
Visiting Manawatu over the weekend so had to try and get some of this trail completed. Great area for a trail and thankfully the rain had stopped. TFTC
With the exeption of "Route 66" in the North of Auckland I didn't visit any powertrail on my four week trip on beautyfull North Island because NZ is such a lovely Country with also so lovely People. No time for power trails at all. But this one is very, very good in shape and so I couldn't resist to visit a part of it. So I found 31 of the Caches before I moved on northward again.
Thanks a lot for the Caches and I hope I'll be back one day to get the others, too.

Off for a day to levin then Foxton market - catching a few more of these while out and about - tftc
I was in Palmy North on business and decided to stay an extra day and spend time driving the KAS trail Nicely put together with the added bonus that its all on a sealed road.. and with plenty of parking. Just great. The weather co-operated with sunny skies and a nice breeze. Thanks for the trail.
I traveled down to Palmerston North for a 3 day geocaching weekend to give my numbers a bit of a boost, as I head towards my next caching milestone. I decided to fly there and back and pick up a cheap rental car for the weekend. The weather was perfect and I had a great weekend down there.
Today I joined forces with yorkshirekiwi83 for a full day of caching before an event in the city tonight. We picked up a few caches around the city first, then drove down towards Opiki collecting caches down some of the side roads as we went, then headed across to do the KAS Power Trail, before going up to do the caches around Ohakea then headed back to Palmerston North.
At this point we worked our way through the KAS Power Trail Series - a series that YK83 started last year, but which came an abrupt end for her. Today we had no such problems and had an enjoyable time finding all of the caches on the trail - the vast majority were nice easy finds, we only had notable issues with 3 caches (which I will go into more detail about on the relevant cache logs.) Thanks for the obvious time that has been spent putting these neat containers together and for placing this trail!

Vistra and I headed down to Manawatu as the KAS trail has been bugging me in its incomplete form, as we both needed numbers for personal goals it seemed like a good opportunity. Thanks to the cache owners for all the caches and the variety, over 2 days I found over 200 caches, so thank you for placing and maintaining them.
Most were quick easy finds, although there were some very clever ones and some well thought out. TFTC

Since I was back in the region for a couple of weeks I decided a big day caching was on order. Calls were made and plans were put in place and Jesso22, Stardust 718 and I set off in my new 4WD to collect a heap of caches. The first cache was collect at 7am and last one just before 7pm. The final numbers came to just of 150 so a productive day was had.
Found as Team AJS to save space on the very full logs

For months we had been planning a 100+ day but the timing had just never worked out for us. Now with Christmas and all of our summer activities behind us and AtomsNZ back in town it was the perfect time! AtomsNZ arrived at my house at 6.45am with Stardust718 in tow and off we went on our mission. The day was quite successful, started with a few solved puzzles then on to the KAS trail and the mint tin trails before squeezing in as many caches around Foxton, Levin and Shannon that all three of us hadn't previously found. Final total was just over 150 (just to be on the safe side in case we made a counting error). Most caches signed as AJS (or JAS depending on who signed it) to save room in the logs as some were quite full. Thanks to all of the COs it was a great day with many great finds.
# 985: I joined forces with AtomsNZ and Jesso22 for a 14 hour caching day. Found at 10:50:00 a.m. The main goal was the KAS trail and however many more nearby caches we could find. Our total came out at just over 150 for the day so we were all pretty happy with that. Thanks to the many CO's that made this day possible. We had a great time travelling lots of back roads.
Loved the various bugs on the containers. I'm not usually one to like creepy crawlies but thesse were cool and made for a more interesting power trail.
Logged signed as AJS (our team name for the day) as many log sheets were very small/or nearly full. we added new log sheets were possible.

#1806 As i was picked up just after 4am to head to the Manawatu I realised this was not going to be a dot day. This was an attempt to get 270 caches in one day. There are a couple of great circuits in the Manawatu that will help work toward this goal so thanks to the CO's that have placed them for our enjoyment.
Thanks also to my partner in geo crime and driver for the day Yetrees. Without an able driver an attempt such as this would be impracticable so thanks for enabling it.
Thanks to all the CO's for their contribution to my smilie tally.
It is forecast to be a long day geocaching, hoping to make the 270 target. To be honest I'd be pretty happy with 200, however why not go for the Emerald badge (see project-gc.com)
