Kyms Adventure and I are on a WA campervan trip working holiday and nabbing some caches on the way Cache Note: Free camped here overnight and saw there was a cache here in the morning TFTCCache Condition: container does not latch but all in good condition otherwise This is cache number:49408:30TFTC!!!
With Defcon_6 - On our working holiday travelling in #NO_XQZS_AU can across WA - from Newman to Paraburdoo we stopped at a free camp overnight. Listen to the trains and trucks TFTC
Could imagine this would have been a nice rest area, especially with a bit of running water. Quick find and stretch of the legs. Tftc
Find # 8,028 for me on 27 May 2023 at 11:54 am.
My expectations weren't high here following the DNF but the cache was found quite easily and it's in reasonable condition although the clips have broken off.
Thanks Kyzabra, for giving back to the game.

Gmj3191 found this quickly while I was still admiring the beautiful white trunked trees and pretty green parrots and other birds. Thanks for bringing us here.
We headed out on the Para - TP loop on a caching mission, are we there yet...... we got to GZ to make a nice quick find TFTC Kyzabra
I had car up my clacka so I missed the turn off. After driving 4km to the north they passed and I returned.
There was water in the creek!!!

Looks like it would have been a nice camp spot but it is littered in rubbish by campers who just don’t care. Found cache in good order. Thanks Kyzabra
Took my little muggle workmate to this one while i had a couple of hours to spare today . This was his second cache visit, and he might be getting the bug after finding this one all on his own.
A cool spot, and i can understand why they’ve closed the campground here . Added my name to the log before having to engage the diff locks in the trucks to get back out to the bitumen again [:o)]

Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving from Gascoyne Junction to Mt Augustus NP.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'Kyzabra' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'FIFO # 4 - Half way there' and the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

We were lured here by the sweet words on the cache listing... potential paradise and just 33ks away.
Admittedly it was getting dark but the lure of "This rest stop along the road with a toilet block, picnic area, camping and even a WIFI hot spot" was just too much to resist and it certainly sounded more appealing than the concrete Paraburdoo caravan park we were looking at.
By the time we arrive at GZ it was dark and what we found was not paradise, but a big DANGER sign that read:-
"DANGER
Strictly No camping,
Offenders Prosecuted
Danger of Flash Flooding."
Kyzabra, please can you update the description for this cache.

Found- wanted to stay the night but saw the no camping sign, the write up sounded so good. Cache in good condition.
Dropped by today to check this one. Still all good
***** NO CAMPING *****
This has been turned into a no camping zone due to flash floods. All facilities have been removed.
I will update the listing when I get home.

pug002 found it 17/8/2018 on our trip north geocaching. We stopped and saw a pie bald horse, at first we thought it was a statue, then it moved and as we started walking to gz it took off TFTC Kyzabra
Attempted to find this cache in the middle of last summer, but with the long grass and the thought of snakes, decided to try again in the cooler months. Found quickly with the Fabulous Panda. TFTC
Heading into Tom Price for the afternoon and decided to give this one a try! Found with Minergal TFTC
At 20 to 4 it was nearly time to find a camp spot for the night. This would have been ideal but the signs said No Camping!!!! This one is in our Camps 8 book but since they are now up to number 10 I guess ours is a bit outdated.
Think most people ignore the sign anyway as it looks like a fairly popular spot.
Took a roundabout way to this one through the spinifex but found the easy way out. Haven't seen one of these containers for a while.
Thanks.

Managed to get into this one on our return from Paraburdoo today. Cars behind us yesterday and a right turn while towing!! Not a good idea! Nice hide, good to have a stretch. TFTC
Our Plan was to stay for the night here, nur when WE arrived WE realized that the Rest areas is closed, no toillet and Camping ist not allowed. So weit made a short Stop to find this Cache ans to Sohn ist.
After a lot of planning, geoson Xpert_Cacher and I are off on a camping road trip up north. 8 days of driving, exploring, Geocaching and camping in swags. The plan has us travelling nearly 5000km grabbing plenty of caches and crossing off a pile of LGAs.
Day 6 - up and about early this morning as we drive from Tom Price to Paraburdoo and the into camp at Exmouth.
A mice quick find here.
Kyzabra SVKR_WA found your cache FIFO # 4 - Half way there today at 07:22:53 25 Apr 2018.
I am happy to have found it and thank you for placing it and adding to this great game.
This find brings my find count to 3012
After having a good time at Exmouth it's time to drive to our next destination: Karijini. There were not many geocaches on the road but we picked every cache up which we passed by! We were surprised about the wonderful landscapes! In our eyes it was like driving trough a fairtale! We are not used to see that much of green scenery in Australia! We booked a cottage in Eco lodge, wich lies in a scenic landscape aswell! We are looking forward to our stay in Karijini!
Greetings from Belgium!

Found it easy on our way from work to the airport. Introduced some fifo friends to the caching world!

Before we came to that site we saw a long train - but too far away. The ascent to this cache is not easy, better park the car next to the road. It didn’t take us long to find it. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Austria.
We parked safely just off the road and walked the short distance to the cache, as this rest stop is currently closed. No problem locating the cache and after signing we were soon away to continue the hunt. Thank you to Kyzabra for this cache placement.
First in the log. Almost as good as FTF. We were looking for this place last night. Camping with WIFI! But no sign on the road and getting dark the cache helped find it. TFTC

The area has been bulldozed so have put a new cache not far from the original gz.
Should still be an easy find.

We think we found the remains of this one (yellow plastic and black tape). Some roadworks have been done and the area has been flattened. Please check! You may delete this log if the cache is still intact and we were looking in the wrong place. Greetings from Switzerland
We drive this road every week and had no idea this was here! Thanks for the Geo fix
Passing by on way from Onslow to Tom Price so stopped for a look. Took a while as my iPhone was zeroing in on another area. My travelling companion found it about 10 metres from where I was looking. Thanks for the cache. It was found on a very thunderstormy day with a lot of rain and lightning about.
The big move from Townsville to Mandurah. Thousands of kms and heaps of caches to keep us entertained.
The second last stretch to Carnarvon has begun. Only one more stretch after that and we have finally made it!
yes half way there

Found at 12:27 PM GAFF1 in the company of xambo4u and &others.
I knew FIFO as a costing term for "First in first out". Well now it has a totally different meaning around here doesn't it!
A lovely spot to stop and so many different birds and so cool. We would have loved to have stopped here for the night, but we were just a bit too far out of TP so we went in to the CP.
Interesting that there is no sign to say that this rest area is here, but on the other hand it can be a bit dangerous getting out on double lines and on a bit of a curve.
Thanks Kyzabra.

Out and about with pprass and &0thers on our travels now to Tom price. This was like a little oasis. Pretty spot with river and a magic show of wildflowers, especially the deep red ones. Needed to widen our search by 8 metres. Found a lot easier way out than in. More of those a spickey plants to get you. Thanks for bringing us to this wonderful spot. Thanks for the cache
Found on our big adventure up the WA coast, returning the inland route through central WA. TFTC
Heading through to Karijini and was navigating to this cache, we were bearing down and before we knew it we were past the cache and looked down to see the rest stop but we didn't see a sign to indicate it was there! With a camper trailer in tow it wasn't possible to turn around so we have to give this one a miss so peeps keep a look out and slow down about 300m before as it will be gone before you know it!! Looked like it would be a really nice place to stop. TFTC anyway
Yay FTF. Don't get much of an opportunity for that up here! It's only taken a week + to be able to stop here due to the number of muggle campers that were occupying the area. Driven past it on 5 different days going from Paraburdoo-Tom Price and back. Took kermit and put in a knuckle head. TFTC
