Great tour getting the clues. Different smells of the bush, sounds of frogs and birds, wildflowers in bloom. Despite the hint, there was someone home. Was not sticking a hand in there! Photo instead. Thanks for a great cache... except for its guardian.
Bucrog52 and I visited Burrumbuttock today to complete the Ad Lab. We then parked at the Wirraminna and had a lovely short walk around the wetlands. At Gz it was a very scary find. Lucky Bucrog52 was brave and grabbed the cache.TFTC
Jackez74 and I visited Burrumbuttock today to complete the Ad Lab. We then went to Wirraminna to collect this multi and had short walk around the wetlands. At Gz I opened the lid there was spider sacks on the lid, jackez74 took a photo of the contents and inside was a large spider, she said no way she was going to but her hand in there so I had to take one for team retrieved the Prize, log signed and return. So today someone was home. TFTC
Easy find and great multi. Love the walk around this native area. TFTC, SL at 11:15am.
We enjoyed the stroll around in here today collecting the info, and not just because it was sheltered from the freezing cold wind, but because it was nice and quiet. We were able to gather the clues easy enough, except for one where the info sign had a lot of moisture ingress, but we managed to come up with a number that was correct. With all the maths done, we wandered off to GZ where we found the nicely themed cache and signed our lives away in the log book.
No luck for me here today guess I worked it out incorectly. Next Time.I will return one day I hope.
With a long weekend planned for Rutherglen and beyond we crossed the border on our second day to enjoy the caches on offer while the sun shone. We zigzagged along the tracks to many tiny communities, completing all the multis we came across. We wandered around the picturesque wetlands spying a frog along the path not to mention the bird wildlife talking to us from above.Once we had our numbers we continued on to the cache where a large huntsman. Thanks khanman47 for the multi placement in such a lovely setting.
Out and about today exploring the area with Grannan55 and Geodogs. What an amazing place to visit with all this fantastic information about the local area. Very informative and well maintained. Even if the cache was guarded by one of the locals. All good here. Now, onto the next one for the day. TNLN TFTC
Found It!
After a nice little walk around the park I had collected all the numbers. Then drove to GZ and soon found the cache!

Burrumbuttock Day 2
Staying in the camping area for a couple of nights.
Todays plan was to do the caches around Howlong, we finished these quite early & then decided to do continue onto some of the BBP trail. Returning home by Brocklesby.
A large variety of caches found.
The last find of the day, would have been nice to see a corroboree frog. Good final location
FP given
Thankyou to the CO for placing these caches.

Wow - what a massive spider that showed its legs when opening the box - black with white bands!! Took ages to get enough courage to pull the container out let me tell you
Thanks khanman47.

Nice easy multi for families. Geokid 7 helped us out with this one, that was until we got to GZ and the arachnid protector scared him off . TFTC

A run around the NSW side of the border today, quick find here. Enjoyed my visit to Burrumbuttock today immensely. A FP for the whole Wirraminna experience. Great caches.

Found on a trip around central New South Wales with e.gregory1. Our original plans were to travel through Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba to attend the Dayboro event in Queensland and return via Port Macquarie and central NSW, but a series of events that included road closures due to flooding in southern inland Queensland, a covid outbreak in Brisbane and widespread storm damage and road closures along the north coast of NSW resulted in multiple changes of plans during the trip. As it eventuated our travels took us to central New South Wales, on a route from Broken Hill to Cobar, Nyngan, and Gunnedah from where we meandered southwards through some great scenery and historic towns that included Dunedoo, Wellington, Cowra and Yass. We then headed in a roughly westerly direction through to Temora, Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin and Swan Hill before making a final dash for home. All up we found a good mix of Traditionals, Puzzle Caches, Multicaches, Adventure Labs, Wherigos, Earthcaches, Letterbox Hybrids and Virtual Caches on a very entertaining and enjoyable trip. Thanks for the cache khanman47!
Found on a trip around inland NSW with FeatherWaite.
Our original intention was to attend the Mega event at Dayboro in Queensland, travelling up via Broken Hill, Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba, then home via the NSW coast to Port Macquarie then on to Adelaide via central NSW. However, the Covid outbreak in Brisbane forced us to reconsider, particularly given that the Mega and associated events were within the area of concern and we may have had difficulty re-entering NSW to get home and then would have had to quarantine back in SA for 14 days.
The floods in the north and east of NSW also hampered our travel plans. But we were able to develop a new plan that took us on a very pleasant tour around country NSW, picking up some interesting caches along the way.
I really enjoyed wandering around this area this morning - they’ve done a great job with it.
Thanks khanman47 for the cache. A favourite point from me.

We had fun wandering around this native garden, picking up the clues along the way. We might have made a mistake in the calculations since our GZ was outside the park near a tree with lots of holes, with no cache in sight. Rather than revisit the clues we decided to leave this one for our next visit to the area.
Thanks for an enjoyable wander.

Enjoyed the wander around, a few places I had already walked past on my way to another.
Thanks heaps for the walk through this amazing area. Being spring lots of things are in flower. Awesomeee!!. Cache looks to be all in good order. Thanks for the hide!
With it being International Geocaching Day/Weekend and a few souvenirs up for grabs we thought we’d head out of town for a few caches, so the close to home ones were left for other challenges.
Lots in flower and pretty green around the place today. No one else out and about today either, was a very cool breeze. Been here a couple of times in the past, very long green grass to get through and a nice find at the end. TFTC

Will have to try this again after a download. Optus service out here is appalling.
Thanks for bringing us to this area! Great little wander around these very dry grounds! TFTC!
What an interesting and informative walk. Tftc and keeping it in play for us to enjoy
Absolutely beautiful day to find this cache ( except the wind! ) was nice to walk around to read the beautiful information on all the beautiful plants and animals. We took our time with this one. Thank you for this beautiful multi cache, please keep this one going.
Found after having a bit of a wander. As I didn't have a lot of time today I just quickly collected the needed numbers and headed off to GZ to make the find. I think I will have to return with my husband for a better look around sometime. TFTC
Camped at the very pleasant spot here in Burrumbuttock for the night and had enough time to find the caches here. This was a very well planned multi with informative waypoint. A favourite point for it Thanks khanman47
**# 23421** Found on a fine day for a drive down South.
Another fine Summers day and perfect caching weather.
Finaklly cleaned up some distant caches I have needed to visit for a while.
And some nice new ones and a few good multi's too.
Many good safe hides and mainly quick finds.
The hides around here are all nice and safe from muggles.
Thanks for the cache khanman47,

Murray River December 2018. I headed away with Fitzy_1965 for a weekend caching towards the Murray River near Corowa. We targeted a few series and as many DNFs from previous trips as possible. We did of course generate even more this time, but overall had a great time despite a sharp thunderstorm on Sunday morning. I had walked around this place before looking for caches, so it was good to come back again for another visit. A nice collection of stops along the way to the cache.
Thanks.

17,159. Found during a caching weekend run down to the Murray River in the Corowa region with albida33.
After camping at the Henty Showgrounds overnight, we had an early breakfast, packed up, and hit the road for our days caching. This was the next stop for the day. This was a fun walk around gathering the info - especially seeing the Woollemi Pine in such great condition. Once calculated it was a quick find at a cute GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks khanman47 !!

On a Wander around Wirraminna and doing this cache at the same time. Have been here a number of times and never tire of it. Cache OK
Temporary disabled - warning - European wasp nest in close proximity. Will re enable when the wasps are dealt with.
Hi there khanman47.
We found your cache **"Wirraminna Wander"** at 12:01:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 18096).
We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. This resulted in a fairly large and circuitous route off the main highway from Culcairn to Walbundrie, Burrumbuttock and Walla Walla.
We especially enjoyed the Wirraminna caches. We ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route today.
We found 7 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Was a bit worried when found a sistema on the ground but checked the nearest possible site and it was still there - last of the Wirraminna caches found - TFTC
A visit to Burrumbuttock and surrounding areas, to pick up a few caches.
We enjoyed the stroll around this lovely park, reading the plagues and collecting the information.
Had a chat to a few lovely ladies who were doing some volunteer work - pulling weeds.
Wondered off to GZ, where the cache was found snug and dry in its hide.
Many thanks for placing this cache, khanman47, for us and others to find.

We like multi caches and this one earned a favourite point from us It was a nice walk getting the required information and learning along the way. Then we made a detour to get Wirraminna Welcome before heading off to get the final. Another great hide. Thanks for the hide and the work that went into the cache container khanman47.
A beautiful sunny afternoon when we decided to come up and explore the grounds as it had been awhile. We were surprised we were the only ones here. We wandered around collecting the relevant information. Once collected we walked to GZ to the great hide, very fitting to the environment. After walking up to collect the other caches we came back and explored some more deciding we need more land for all the natives we want to add to our front and back yard. It was a great and relaxing hour and a half walking around. Well worth the visit.
Out grabbing a few caches with Chrisant2017. Enjoyed wandering about this nice park, grabbing the required info to complete this cache. A quick find once at GZ.
Thanks khanman47 for bringing us here by placing the cache for us to find.

Pretty warm day to be wandering around a place like this but luckily the clouds and cool breeze made it bearable , even if the pesky flies didn't.
A nicely laid out multi with the wpts easy to follow and not have to guess where to head to next.
All numbers gathered and it was off to Gz. Wasn't sure I had it right as it was a bit further away than I thought it might have been but went off to have a look anyway.
Almost walked right by it before stopping to check where the arrow was pointing, and sure enough there it was only a few meters away.
Nice hide and great informative multi.
TNLN , TFTC , Cheers.

This is a lovely spot for a multi. Wirraminna wandering to each waypoint we soon had co-ordinates for the final. Had a split excited second where we thought we were FTF but only FTF the replacement logbook. A clever hide that fits in perfectly. TFTC khanman47.
# 10549. Another beautiful Autumn day dawned so Robmc and I headed north of the border to gather a few more caches and puzzles we have completed recently. The day started and ended in Albury after a meander through the countryside. A nice day's collection of 23 smilies.
Several years ago I came here to find a cache and more recently, late last year, I came here with the intention of doing this multi. It was when Minion hay bales were out the front and there were so many cars and so many visitors I decided it was not the best day to be attempting it. So, here we are today to do it and all is quiet on this weekday morning. Although everything is so dry the gardens seem to have progressed well since the last visit and it was fantastic to see those recently discovered pines here in the flesh rather than the fossilised versions. Great to see something so rare.
A trek to GZ and a nice hide found. Great idea for the container. Now off to the next couple in the series.
Thanks khanman47

We had solved a few puzzles north of the border, so BettyBoo3747 and I thought a spin around the countryside would be in order.
We had been here before for another cache and it was interesting to see how Wirraminna had progressed since then.
A nice tour of the grounds (the Yabbies looked a bit on the dry side!), collecting our numbers.
Put the new numbers in - 1.3km! what had we done wrong! Then we noticed it was 47 not 48 - ooh, that made a difference!
A nice walk through the rest of the gardens to a nice hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

Love a multi, and this one didn't disappoint. Great clues, and a fun time as we got the coords. Then off to the cache. Well placed and dry. SL. TFTC khanman47 and a favourite for the effort made.
Mother and father dragon are travelling around NE Victoria and a little North of the River. Setting off today for a browse around the countryside through to Rutherglen. Accidentally came upon this beautiful place, when we saw that there were some caches here. We stopped and made it a lunch spot. Some of the volunteers who maintain the site were present today, and so an informative chat ensued, including a viewing of the endangered and also hard to see even in captivity, Corroboree Frog in the Interpretive Centre.
The Wirraminna Environmental Centre cache was to be our last as the day was somewhat warm, and time was rapidly passing, but we realised that as we returned to the Interpretive Centre and the car, we were passing one of the waypoints of the multi, so away we go again. we revisited some places that we had seen during the preceding couple of hours, but this time sought and found information to finally calculate the location of GZ. As we walked toward this we realised that at some time in our wandering, we had come quite close to GZ and not known it. Cache was soon in hand. Again the cache and contents are in excellent condition. TNLN. Replaced cache and returned to geo-nellie. A great unexpected afternoon's entertainment and education only happening due to geocaches.

Found with the storm man. A fantastic little multi in a very pleasant area. Cache in fantastic condition. Lots of effort here, loved it. Fav from me. TFTC.
Out with Joelisa for one more day to hit some more caches. Left at 7.30am and headed into Albury. Very successful morning and lots of fun too. After lunch headed out Burrumbuttoclk to finish off the day. Fun multi. Love the cache containers and appreciate the effort put into them. Tftc
With the weather a good deal better young Ryan and I set out to find the new trio of Wirraminna caches that had been published recently, with this one first of the three today.
We parked at the main entrance and strolled over to the posted co-ordinates landmark, gathered the info and moved on.
The Reserve has really progressed since we were last here, and it will become an amazing resource for school-orientated conservation efforts well into the future. Beautifully maintained and very thoughtfully sign-posted which will provide fantastic data for budding scientists.
The trek through the reserve as designated by the search for figures for determining the final cache location was very well planned, as we got to see much of the park.
Once all the numbers were collated it was off to GZ, where a nicely-constructed hide became evident.
SL at 11.30am. All good with the hide. We took the TB to move on further.
A favourite point from us for a brilliant all-round cache. TFTC khanman47.

We pulled the map up on our Android this morning to see which way to head and this cache and two others stood out to us. We have been here for a cache in the past and find it a lovely spot to go for a nice easy stroll. Today we enjoyed looking at a few of the signs on the way around and we sat under the Gazebo while to final was worked out.
GZ presented a well constructed container that took us to an area of this reserve which we hadn't seen in the past.

We found the other cache here about 4 years ago, so it was nice to return and see how the centre has progressed and expanded over time. A great informative multi, that took us all around the different sections and increased our knowledge as well. Very quiet here today with no others sharing the experience with us. SL at 11.50am Left: lizard and Slakkenrace trackable. #2949 TFTC and the wander khanman47
My last visit here was back in uni days and I've been meaning to bring the geokids out for awhile now. A few new caches & with the kids learning about corroboree frogs this week at school it was an ideal time to visit Wirraminna again. We met TheClazzas @ Jindera then proceeded to Burrum... Thought we'd start with this one. Gave the kids the paperwork with the info required & left them to explore while we wandered from point to point. With all the #s collected & the coords worked out we were soon on our way to gz. Quick find by the youngest clazza. Kids were wrapped to each score a corroboree frog sticker from each of the caches! Thanks for the great multi that gave as a thorough tour of the centre. Favourite point for the great location & effort put in to this one. Loved the hides. Well done khanman47
After wandering around with the geo kids we finally got the co ordinates and located this one
4318 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1100 as a FTF. Couldn't let this be unfound for any longer as we had been watching since posted. This area is a most interesting place with lots of information and history. The walk to each of the information boards with the sound of birds and insects is most enjoyable. Got all the information. At WP2, the spelling of the second word in the animals name is not correct in that it starts with a t not an a.
