As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner attention for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.

If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

We started on the wrong level, however, when we had that sorted, a short search and we had it. Also found the lost lid, but log is very wet. Tftc

Saved this for a dot day. Easy find but in a very sorry state. No lid and sodden plus it's getting eaten as well.

#150. Just a pen, paper, and an original Navman. Resisted the temptation to bring up the milestone on recent trip to Brno for the MotoGP. Log a bit damp but good hide. Tftc.

Todays Challenge was to work on my own little challenge of completing more "Dot Days" and so have been keeping local caches all quiet and un collected specifically for that reason. However as today was one of those days it was time to collect these three.
This was the third of them and a quick find following on from work at dusk. Went in the hard way in the failing light and came out the correct way back to the car
Noone out and about so no problems encountered here

thanks for the placement

Had a few minutes to kill before picking up the small one from drama class. Decided to shoot down here and grab this one. Great to see all the work that has gone on here. Found cache with no problems, it all makes sense now. Thanks for the cache to get me out and about and show off this great little place.

What a magical spot - a hidden path through a quiet reserve...

Found the hide where expected, thanks for bringing us here.

Didn't have much time today, so was thankful for a nice straight forward find. Thought about heading straight down the bank, but with work gear on I thought twice about it and decided to go for the stairs. Once at GZ soon had the cache in hand, thanks for the placement.

Queen's Birthday Monday (An extra day of caching). Another raid into Hamilton with Gap (of Fap and Gap).

I hadn't noticed until this morning, I have a blister on the heel of my foot. I hate that... It means I'll be hobbling for a day or two... The pain of it all was the added pressure to climb up and down hills and steps... Will just have to tread carefully for now... The coordinates and hint combined to make this a quick find. TFTC.

We've just been to the 6yr old Iammrwalker's birthday party and wanted a dot day find, although the weather isn't the best. This was close to party and home.
We have been to this park once for another cache, but it was on the other side, so it was nice to be given another ' I'd have never been here except for geocaching' cache. It has certainly made us aware of the wealth of little green spaces Hamilton has and how our landscap,e with all the gullies, makes for interesting secret pockets. Well done to whoever is developing this one.
I loved the name which made sense at GZ. It was a bit of a muddy retrieval today, but all dry in the container.
Thanks for the cache.

I decided to pop in here after work, which turned out to be later than expected. I unwisely decided the quickest way to GZ was a straight line and slid down a bank and broke the headlamp I was holding. Since I was grubby anyway I didn't mind having a good scrummage around at GZ and soon unearthed the container thanks to the helpful hint. I was really impressed with the work that's gone on here and how much more accessible the area is now. TFTC.

{FTF}!! Was curled up by the fire when this was published last night &, knowing I'd be right by GZ today - my turn for the school run - decided to stay warm & try my luck this am. Was fairly certain the FTF hounds would have nabbed this already so, after a short walk to GZ & a nice quick find, it was a very pleasant surprise to get the FTF. The gully has changed a lot in the short time since I was last here; great job on the paths by those involved. And well done too on your 1st hide. Nice one! TFTC
