Found on a trip to Crystal Brook and Port Pirie with Team Waldron for a few days. It rained steadily for the morning but gradually eased by mid afternoon. The aim for the weekend was to find as many caches as possible in the area which we accomplished with damp clothes, soggy shoes and a muddy car. Thanks for the cache Ferret52!

hello

14-Feb-21
Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
Made to South Australia and finally crossing the boarder and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices for which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter.
After making my way west along the Eyre Hwy I went as far as Penong and the Eyre Hwy which I have not travelled along since the late 70’s when I was on a holiday with my folks and this was the last holiday before I started full time work as a sparkie and finding a few caches as I go.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
So then it was down to the Eyre Peninsula to see the sites down there Venus Bay, Coffin Bay National Park and Lincoln National Park were some highlights and I will come back again to have a better look around.
So after nearly 2 weeks spent on the Eyre Peninsula it was time to start heading back to Victoria but another lockdown in Vic has just occurred so now to change my plans again.
So after driving from one peninsula to another peninsula it was time to do some more exploring.
So I’m spending a couple of nights at Port Germein but as I’m I need of fuel I set off early in the morning to head towards Port Pirie and fill up.
So after fueling up this was the first stop for the day and I picked up a TB to move it along
I soon located this one and added my name to the log and now to continue my journey.
Now to head to Port Pirie for a look around.
Thanks Ferret52 TFTC.

Right about where this cache is hidden is where i reckon the railway bypass should go to avoid that huge sharp curve to the west ha ha Big Grin

The cache was found at the log signed at 08:43 on Monday 28/9/20.
The log-book bag within was split and the log was a bit moist so i added a new bag with some moisture-munchers to keep it dry [^]

Sorry for the late log - trying to get caught up on our cache logs

Found by The Marathon Man and pnutbeagle on our 3-month Australia holiday after travelling from snowy and cold Northern Ontario Canada. Now trying to log a week worth of geocaching finds

The cache was found as we travelled from from Port Pirie, SAvto Adelaide, SA to visit the National Train Museum and to camp for the night. one of 1 DNF's and only 2 finds today - Most of the founds were quickly found.

No problems here - WOW - a geocache which had all the trackables indicated as being in the cache that were in the cache. Took 2 trackables to take back to Canada with us in a couple of weeks after visiting more caches in SA and then NT

With our Flinders Ranges geocaching weekend at an end, jesswrigley and I were headed back to Adelaide via Port Augusta and various geocaches in between.

We made a small stop to the side of the highway, and went for a jog inside this small highway strip. The cache was then found. I swapped 3 TB, although 1 TB seemed to be missing. Cheers for the TB stop.

We see many beautiful place where we visit and enjoy every cache what we found, so humble thanks every cache owner that you hiding this cache!

Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.

All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!

Today our trip continued from Port Augusta to Port Vincent. On a way we visited beautiful Weeroona Island, spend some time at Port Pirie, visited Moonta's himalayas and found many caches on the way.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland!

Found it with TICE [Hiltsu, J&T, kapeka & laalaa]

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

Greetings from Finland!

Hi there Ferret52.

We found your cache **"Dazza's Travel Bug Stop"** at 11:50:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 15969).

We cached around Gladstone, Port Pirie and Napperby today. On our trek we found a variety of container types. & ended up finding 32 caches with 0 DNF's.

Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
**Grabbed all the trackables.**

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

Alice trip 2017. Day 4. Today was the day I caught up with Sol de Lune and LuckL10n in Burra. We joined forces for the journey to Alice Springs. Today was a short trip to Pt Augusta collecting plenty of caches along the way. I did an old TB hotel out on the island some time ago, so it is good to see another one now.

After a second night in Burra, we were now caching our way to Port Augusta via Spalding, Gulnare, Crystal Brook, Port Pirie, Napperby, Weeroona Island and Baroota. Last stop on the way out of Port Pirie, just before crossing the highway for a bit of caching on the back roads. TFTC Ferret52 Smile
